The last few days I've been asking players that in advanced tfos, can clear the field of enemies in a single volley, why they play in advanced rather than elite.

The general consensus comes down to 2 main reasons, auto failure if objectives aren't met and long queue times.

Personally I have built out a few of my captains that have the ability to clear elite level enemies with little to no difficulty and I've basically retired them as they're no longer fun to play. Its just kind of boring and im sure is frustrating to newer players trying to participate in advanced tfos to watch enemies they're hunting just dissappear before getting a shot off.

What Im proposing is a difficulty tier between advanced and elite , something where the enemy difficulty is spiked up but the objectives are still optional like they are in advanced tfos.

How do we feel about this idea?

I’m new to the game. I was going through the missions and moved into the Romulan Mystery set and I was curious when we’d see miral again so I looked it up, and apparently it was removed and then remastered? I read that it was added but I don’t see where to start it. It doesn’t show up under “The kuvah’magh” mission like they said it would.

No clue how many of you follow Spencer’s STO channel on YT (CasualSAB) but if you don’t you should.

PINK VANITY SHIELDS ARE BACK!!

PC players already have’m and consoles will get them for ONE CHARACTER ONLY on their accounts starting October 22nd. Combined with the October 20th 60th Anniversary content and stuff there will a lot of things to do and stuff to grab this coming week ….

I never gave the Protostar a second look when it came out. Neat, fast in Sector Space, but I tend to play large, Tank-Style Cruisers and Dreads, so I didn't even really think about this ship.

I have changed my mind, and if not for the 60th Anniversary Boxes, I would have never tried her out. Grabbed her up for about 470mil on the Exchange because I thought for that price, I would take a chance on her. I am very impressed.

Not only does she just BLITZ across Sector Space, but she is so nimble in a fire fight, I think she cuts the time for me to do 3 DSEs in about half!

The playstyle is fast and agile, a lot like the fun I've been having with the K'vort. And I feel like the roleplay is just right, because what other ship would you want for a quick interceptor in Deep Space for emergency assists!

Three activities will be participating in this Event:

Cat’s Tale – Ground TFO

Explore the decor of a haunted castle, filled with ghoulish adversaries of ill intent. A choice of monstrous form often belies monstrous intent, but what else might it hide? With the power to choose appearance comes the power to mislead...

Patrols: Delving the Castle

Two fiendish patrols clamor for attention amidst the miasma of the ominous castle. Dare you enter?

Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours by completing either TFO of their choosing. Either of the above Activities may be played as much as you like each day, so pick and choose how you prefer to gain Progress each day and mix it up as much (or as little) as you like!

Fall of the Old Ones 2026 – Event Rewards

Accruing a total of 14 Days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim the Grand Prize of the Fall of the Old Ones 2026 Event. This reward includes all the following:

• Universal Kit Module – Fear Itself
  • A strange Kit Module that was recovered from the ruins of a Kohl Settlement. It gives an eerie feeling as if it knows exactly what you are thinking…
  • Summon the Kohl Entertainer to wreak confusion among your enemies, by making them shake in fear (HOLD vs. NPC / ROOT vs. Player). While he is present in our reality, the Entertainer will also periodically apply Confusion to your enemies, making them attack each other.
• Outfit Box - Kohl Entertainer Costume
  • Don the apparel of the Kohl Entertainer, as seen on screen in Star Trek: Voyager - The Thaw. This outfit will be available within the Off-Duty category within the Tailor.
  • The Kohl Entertainer (Clown) outfit consists of 3 major things: The main outfit, the the Kohl Entertainer head (the clown head); and the mask.
  • The main outfit (upper, lower, gloves, pants, boots) can be found in these categories: Jacket Loose, and Pants Tucked High.
  • The Kohl Entertainer makeup is not an application of makeup to your character, but a separate head option for the Kohl Entertainer. There will be one head per species.
• 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (Single Character Reward)
  • Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade
• 25,000 Dilithium Ore (Single Character Reward)
  • Issued immediately for use as you see fit!

(Note: The Featured TFO Boxes and Dilithium Ore are only rewarded once, to the first character on your account that claims the Grand Prize.)

A selection of brand new emotes will be available to unlock, which you will be able to find in the Lobi Crystal Consortium. Each of these may be purchased by each character on your account at the cost of 10 Lobi Crystals apiece.

Zen Buyout Option

For players interested in instantly completing the Fall of the Old Ones 2026 Event – whether that is due to worries over finding the play time to complete it or simply wanting to move immediately into earning Bonus Rewards – we will be offering a method for buying out the event.

Within the Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. The base price for this service will be 2,500 Zen, but every single Daily Progress you earn will reduce that price on a percentage basis. Thus, if you have already earned 7 Daily Progress (half of the 14 required), this price will be reduced to 1,250 Zen. The more you play, the cheaper the Buyout Option becomes, dynamically!

Fall of the Old Ones 2026 will begin on PC and Consoles on October 22nd, 2026, and run for 3 weeks before concluding.

I just got the Ark Royal, which is everything I’ve heard it was, and have an Epic Token for a Phoenix Prize Pack that could grant me a ship. Anything there worth salvaging for the AR?

I don't really understand how or why it is taking so long, considering that the items already exist, its just the bundle that isnt in the store. I have sent a ticket in and heard the Devs response here, but that was almost 2 months ago and its all gone fairly silent since then

So I managed to get my annual event finished early and I'm sitting on over 1k in lobi, the two shop coupons, and the loot box ship.

What are some suggestions for what I should get? I've gotten the Into Darkness ship and both borg ships sooooo... what do you suggest? Also, I got the Bajoran Interceptor (I think that's the name with the matrix console?). I'm tempted to go with the Discovery ship just for the spore drive console.

So one of my characters is flying a K'vort using Delphic APs on a Beam Overload setup. I want to try changing her over to using the new Temporal Disruptors (cannon build).

So it's my understanding that they work off Aux power, but still get any bonus for Weapon Power Cost reduction you might have. So am I crazy for considering still using EPTW? +16% Cat2, and Emergency Weapon Cycle would still provide haste and cost reduction, it seems like it might still be worth considering.

Hey all, so I’m closing in on finishing this years event quest but I had a few questions.

The premium ship token, is this an account unlock or character only?

With the zen store tokens I’d like to get a Negh’Var or a variant, what’s the best option I’ll be able to get with these tokens?

We've temporarily blocked the Neotype Omni-Directional Cryonic Beam Array and the Neotype Cryonic Torpedo Launcher from being reclaimed due to a technical issue. We plan to turn them back on as soon as it's fixed!

I missed the Crystaline event.

The second chance button is greyed out and the option for event buyout isn't available either in the C store.....

However...

On another character, with a full inventory its there. If i make space in my inventory, the second chance option dissappears again.

Tested on my main by filling up inventory.

Second chance and event buyout appears.

If I make space, they dissappear again.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Vulcan Suurok, NX material, Black Vesta/Corvus pattern, Pink Vanity Shield, Baleful Herald Vanity Deflector, Aegis Engines (not shown, but they are the main reason I went for the NX material - gives the ship blue impulse engines that match the blue aegis trails :-D)

Hey folks! If you noticed the auto-loot feature that went live today on PC, enjoy the free preview! It was never meant to go live today, and isn't functioning as it's supposed to, so we'll be disabling it if we haven't already. If it seems partially-finished, that's why. :)

UPDATE: IGNORE ME! Whether we disabled the feature or not, the option was still there in the Options Menu. Thomas made the call that, since the option is visible, that we're going to keep it on. Please keep in mind, it is not a finished feature, but have fun and give us your feedback. :)

Quick question. Can you skin the Shangri-La as the original TOS Enterprise?
