He’s met so many people. Is so cool to see he likes others more than some. I think that’s amazing instead of grouping everyone in the same boat

Hello everyone.
My rottweiler was checked out recently due to one of his nails growing in a curve, splitting, and then bleeding. The vet gave us antibiotics but warned it may be cancer if he doesn’t react to them. We made a followup appointment in two weeks, if it doesn’t get better, to have the nail removed and complete X-rays/biopsy.
The paw/area of the nail isn’t terribly swollen. But, he won’t let the vet or my family clip the nail. I’ve done what I could to minimize the bleeding..
He doesn’t exhibit any other changes though. He eats like normal, restroom is normal, and his mood is still high. He wants to play catch or mess around.
This is my baby. He was dealt rough cards, having severe allergic reactions to daily things. My family has done so much to take care of his health.
I can’t tell if this is just. Another scare? Or if I need to prepare myself, and him, to say goodbye.
I don’t want to. I am praying it is not nailbed cancer. I keep telling myself him acting the same as always is why I don’t think it’s cancer.
He always shows me when something is wrong. When he had an ear infection, I found out when I tried patting his head. He used his paw to lower my hand and then shoved himself closer to me while turning his head.
He’s so incredibly sweet and smart.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any advice? Any hope? :(

Just added this girl, her name is Eowyn or Winnie for short, to our family last night. She’s 4 month old and she’s a bit thin. Person we got her from said she was on Blue Buffalo puppy food. Anyone have any food suggestions?

I know this is a Rotti page, forgive me.
We have a Rotti that I post here from time to time. Her name is Kya and she’s 5. I gotten some great advice, tips and ideas from lots of people here. We’re first time Rotti owners. Shes the light of our life. However, she’s my dog. She’s bonded to me. My wife wanted her own dog and had been looking at different rescues. She came across a post of someone who was moving out of state and didn’t want to take her 9 month old puppy (dash hound/chihuahua mix) with a cute little snaggle tooth. Love at first sight. We got her that night with next to no information about her, other than not spayed and no vaccinations. Took her to a well puppy check up to start vaccinations and schedule her spay only to find out she was 45 days pregnant. SURPRISE 😳.
Anyway I just wanted to show off their pictures and our success with owning a pregnant dog and getting her thru delivery. She had one puppy at home and 5 more at the vet ER vets. She had some problems we didn’t feel qualified to handle. 2 shots of oxytocin, 3 1/2 hours and a much lighter bank account we brought home 6 healthy puppies and one exhausted mama dog. She’s a great mom.
