My birthday is coming up on October 27th! I started this incredible snail mail journey quite recently, and this will be my very first time celebrating it with this amazing community.

Parry (the notoriously chaotic head of dispatch at the Unemployed Pigeons Club) and I would be absolutely thrilled to receive some birthday mail from you this year!
If you'd like to send a card, just drop me a DM for my address. To keep our avian postal system busy, here is the deal: as soon as Parry successfully drops your card into my mailbox, I will definitely send a reply card right back your way!

I've had a really tough couple of years ans really feeling it now.. next Tuesday will be my first birthday fully fully alone. But I want to make a change this year and just. Relight my spark.

In the past two years my best friend died in a horrible way, other best friend had to go support their family, I lost a really good job and honestly things kept going downhill. I was in a very long term relationship. But I moved all of my things out of there yesterday and he still doesn't know I'm gone as he's away visiting friends. The relationship was a very dark volatile thing and I stayed thinking it will change but I don't want to live my life in fear and crying myself to sleep so I left this week.

I lost pretty much all of my support network and it only hit me today when I realised I'll spend my birthday broke (that's ok it's a work in progress), alone, and with nobody to even share a meal with or have a laugh with. It stung a lot.

But I want this year to be my year! I have been through a lot in my life but I never want to give up and I want this little birthday to be a reminder that I can do it and that even when I feel alone and hopeless it's never really life that!

If anyone could please send me any cards, happy, funny, anything. Just so I'm not stuck staring at a wall on my birthday after a really difficult year. I feel really embarrassed at how things have played out and how alone I am. My DMs are open.

This is my first year celebrating solo in my own place and it’s been so amazing having something to come home to! I’m not exactly in the celebratory mood this year (which is different for me) and I’m hoping some happy mail will put me back in the spirit!

And one more vintage linen card that is not a "night view" but still works for my purposes, my purposes being to reimagine the images on the front as part of a horror story of some kind. I went to a stamp show for the first time and one of the things I was most excited about was a sheet of these deep sea creature stamps! Did you make this card? The textures on it are so cool. It makes me want to make things with stamps or get back into printmaking.
