Crew or Forza? I take Crew over FH5&6.

Between Crew and Forza, there are like 10 reasons why each game is better over the other game. But Personal preference, It's The Crew Motorfest for me

Thought you all might enjoy this web-based rally racing game, Mini Rally.

A simple physics-based time attack rally sim. Eight tracks so far and a leaderboard to compare times to your friends. Looks cute, but don't mistake it for simple fake arcade physics. The heart of it is a physics engine simulating suspension, engine, differentials, tire dynamics, etc. at 2,000 times per second. It's also challenging, so be warned.

Looking forward to seeing those top-10 lap times and any feedback about the game itself.

Grid legends is the last racing game that gave us simcade style racing on night city and highway tracks. I’m not too big on open world racing, but the closest active game to this is Car X Street. With all the new racers announced do you think we will see this type of racer any time soon, or do we have to choose from circuit sim or open world arcade for the foreseeable future?

I did recently pick up Gear Club Unlimited 3 for the PS5 but that doesn’t quite hit the mark.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I was wondering this since my birthday is coming up and can't afford to buy both games, which is actually better?

I'll tell you about what I enjoy so it's not like just general ideas. I like games that have more irl sport feel like Idk how to explain it, something you'd see on tv you know? I want something that makes me feel like a racer, I also want something with a deep roster of car models (my favourite brand being Ferrari). Racing games I've played and enjoyed: some games from the F1 series (F1 19, 20, 21, 23, 25) and project motor racing I liked it for what it was, the thing that annoyed me was the fact that graphics were pretty bad and the roster of cars was VERY limited but I enjoyed the physics of it all and the WEC feel it gives sometimes. I play pretty much 99% of the time single player because I enjoy putting hours in an offline experience that's like more recreational rather than trying to come with the best setups and go to extreme lengths to get even a P 10 result.

So this is probably an odd post, but I really wanna get into racing games again, but im unsure how..

I used to love racing games, but fell out of love with them due to well, if I had to guess, my depression, and maybe just generally growing up? also just generally falling out of love with cars if I had to say why honestly, mainly just due to the current state of the motoring market, modern fuel prices being so expensive and trying to be a first time car owner is so hellish. Anyways I want to get into a racing game again, but I honestly feel like if I did, I wouldn't be able to keep that interest in it, are they just not for me anymore, or what?

Stunts (aka 4D Sports Racing), originally from 1990, was remade into Stunts Online with new features, and now there are players too. Here's what time trials look like, with ghosts from other players' attempts!

A couple of years ago I had to give up my sim racing rig, but I wanted to keep racing. To do that I decided to create a mobile game as close to a real sim racing game as I could, with a detailed, realistic, physics engine that is unlike anything else on mobile. Two years later I've got a beta (or perhaps more realistically an alpha).

The plan is to launch this on iOS, Android, and desktop platforms (it already runs on all five major OSes), and to have first class wheel support. But mobile is the first aim, and I'm looking for some early testers who might be interested in playing the iPhone or iPad version of the game, since the plan is to launch there first.

Quick Time: Dirt Oval Racing by Starset Gaming

New car: Factory Stock
A full-bodied ’80s street stock joins the garage. It’s softer sprung than the other classes, so it leans hard onto the right side in the corners, and the left front comes off the ground when you’re really hustling it. The rear end stays planted on its solid axle while the body rolls over it. Paint and stripe colors, decals, numbers and liveries all work on it like every other car.

New track: Briar Hollow Half
A half-mile with dish-shaped (concave) banking. Turns 1–2 are tight and steep, turns 3–4 are wide and flatter, so no two corners drive the same. Both ends have ruts worn in. Sit in a rut and it holds you. Cross one sideways and it’ll kick the back end loose.

Handling and speed

• Every class is a little faster, with more top speed and more pull off the corners.
• Lifting to turn doesn’t scrub off as much speed, so you carry more momentum through the middle.

Cars look more planted

• Body roll now leans the right way, onto the outside tires, on every car.
• Tires stay on the ground and no longer tilt with the body.
• Each tire follows the dirt under it on banking and over ruts.
• The legend now runs the same size tires front and rear.

Shadows and tire marks
The car’s shadow and its tire marks now sit on the dirt through the banking, instead of floating or cutting through the tires.

Battery saver
A new option under Setup → Graphics. It runs the game at 30 frames per second and a lower resolution, for longer sessions with a cooler phone.

Small fixes

• The checkboxes in Setup now line up properly next to their labels.

Coming next: new engine sounds and more horizon scenery work.
