I never thought a small bathroom plumbing issue would turn into such a stressful experience. I've been staying in this apartment on rent from last 7 years and I purchased a new flat of my own. Already started the interior work and it is supposed to get completed in next 3-3.5 months.

My landlord visited our building few days ago and in a good faith, I told him that I will vacate his apartment in probably 3-4 months. He seemed friendly and co-operative and pretended to be find with that.

But suddenly after 3 days, he gave me 1 month notice (as per agreement) to vacate this flat.
He says he's getting 3K more rent that what I pay and I said I am ready to pay the extra rent for next 3 months, but he's not listening and says he might not find a new tenant later on.

I’ll be joining an office at Kharadi on 16 Nov ’26 and have started looking for accommodation.

After exploring options in both Kharadi and Viman Nagar, I’m leaning towards a simple plan: stay in a decent, affordable PG in Kharadi for the first 2–3 months. This should make the initial commute easier while I get a better understanding of the work culture, office days, and my routine.

Once things settle down, I plan to look for a proper flat, probably in Viman Nagar or another suitable locality. Honestly, Kharadi felt a little too quiet and depressing for my liking, with not much to do outside work. I’d rather explore other areas before committing to a long-term place.

Meanwhile, we could also explore localities with good metro connectivity and figure out whether there are better options for both commute and lifestyle.

If anyone is in a similar situation, joining a company in Pune, or simply wants to connect and help make sense of this plan, feel free to reach out!
