This is an example of where subtle is the name of the game. The lower face heaviness, loss of midface volume, mild jowls, and early neck laxity come together to show signs of an aging face that is typically seen in the early to mid 50s. For some, this is too young for them to consider facelift surgery- but for these areas of concern for this patient, they were top priority. And no injectable or nonsurgical treatment can lift the muscle. She was very happy with her results and I think this really helped her reclaim her youth before it felt fully "lost".

OK, so right now I don’t have any Botox and haven’t had any for about five months so this is my smile with no Botox. I am 35 and I feel like under my eyes is so incredibly crepey and wrinkly. With Botox, everything looks great except my under eyes they get so weird because of all the excess crepey skin. It really doesn’t do a ton to help it and I don’t like the little shelf it creates under my eyes . My injector is absolutely amazing so I don’t think it’s her technique.

I think I could probably use an upper too, but with a good Botox brow lift it doesn’t bother me.

What started out as a teenage joke with my best friend led to me stuffing my bra for decades. We would "turn me into" a different person by doing my makeup, stuffing my bra, I would speak differently, as much as we could do to make people not recognize me. One time she was dating a guy that I liked and she didn't really. So we tried to disguise me as her cousin and had me try to "steal him away from her". The kid knew it was me but we kinda got together anyways. So, as a teen I thought that I had to keep appearances up by continuing to stuff my bra. This led to my parents buying me bigger bras and definitely snowballed.

Now I'm finally with a partner that figured it out and is supportive of me getting surgery. I'm so grateful that soon I won't have to lie anymore. I can be fully naked with my partner and not feel weird. I'm excited to find bathing suits that I like, not ones that will allow me to hide. I've never been fully naked in front of anyone but a doctor. I feel like crying with happiness every time I think about my surgery. I've always hated the way my chest looked. Soon I will have breasts for real!

I have these lines to the side of my mouth and I wanted to know the best way to approach these: Botox? Filler? Good skin care? I’m only in my 20s and I feel so aged by them! Thank you guys in advance :)

over the past 3 months i’ve had 2 sessions of lip filler. first session was a full syringe and the second was .75 of one. my lips got swollen and looked big and luscious and then after a couple weeks…. it looks like my lips are the same as before. Does anyone know what happened? i’m just upset because i feel like a lot of money went down the drain. Also- prior to this i’ve had lip filler once before but it was over a year ago and only one syringe. it was beautiful while it lasted🥺 photos are right before filler, right after, and then currently.

Sharing this beautiful 12-week update. She came to us after having a breast augmentation overseas that led to complications and scarring, so her breasts needed to be reconstructed. Her procedures included:

• Mastopexy with removal of her prior implants and a pocket plan change (from below the muscle to above the muscle)
• 290cc Motiva round implants placed above the muscle
• Tummy tuck with 2,500cc of liposuction

Photos are 12 weeks post op, except the last one of the belly button, which was taken at 6 weeks.

She’s still early in her healing journey. Recovery from a surgery like this takes a lot of patience, with swelling, soreness, and waiting for the results to catch up to the healing. Her scars are healing well, and she told me she’s finally feeling at home in her body again. She also traveled from out of state for her care, and getting updates like this is why I love what I do.

Is it realistic for me to look like the morph with only a rhinoplasty and a sliding genioplasty?

Mostly for the chin area i’d like the chin to be aligned vertically with the lips, also for the lips to be evenly aligned and not the top one protruding more than the bottom one. Hopefully resulting in a better facial harmony.

And should both of these be done in the same surgery?

I've gotten two consults from local plastic surgeons for a breast augmentation. However, their recommendations are completely opposite to each other, so I'm not sure how to proceed. I am an A cup, looking to go up to about a C probably. I just want it to actually look like I have breasts.

My background: I'm 29. I ride horses. I weight lift, usually a maximum of 3x a week and not super seriously, just to try to stay healthy. I'm 5'3", ~140-145lbs, have not had a large weight loss. Both consults said my breasts and folds are low on my chest.

In my consult with Dr. H, he said he would recommend 500ccs full profile Motiva, over the muscle, with mesh.

In my consult with Dr. A, he said he would recommend 250-400 with an emphasis on 355ccs Sientra HSC+, dual plane under the muscle, no mesh. If I wanted to go bigger than the 400, he would add the mesh, and it would result in a quote that's about $1,800 more than Dr. H's.

I'm looking for people's experiences with these differing recommendations or if there's any plastic surgeons who care to chime in on what to do with opposing consultations. Thanks all!

I recently had a Sono Bello consultation for upper and lower abdominal lipo and the consultant recommended adding AbEx because I may have excess skin afterward.
I’m 25, have no children, and had a breast reduction last year. Scarring has been a major concern for me and I’m hesitant about adding another procedure unless it’s necessary.

***For those who’ve had AbEx, was it worth it? And for those who had lipo alone, did your skin tighten on its own?

I'm not too concerned about them because they don't hurt. They are hard and do not move so I'm guessing left over sutures?

i have been looking into getting something done for my under eye area lately because i always look so tired even after a full night of sleep.
i am currently torn between lower blepharoplasty and under eye fat repositioning. they sound pretty similar to me but i know they address slightly different issues and the recovery might be different too.

Trying to choose between Dr. Jonas Bico and Dr. Czar Philippe Yu for my first/virgin nose rhinoplasty.
I’m male, so one of my main priorities is getting a result that still looks natural and masculine, not overly done or too feminine. I’m also very particular about post-op care, follow-ups, and how the doctor handles concerns or complications after surgery, not just the aesthetic result.

I’ve already consulted with both doctors and I’m currently deciding who to go with.
For anyone who has personally had rhinoplasty with either of them, especially male patients, I’d really appreciate your honest experience regarding:
• final and long-term results
• whether the nose still looked natural and suited your face
• post-op care and follow-up appointments
• responsiveness of the doctor/clinic after surgery
• recovery, cast and suture removal
• ear cartilage donor-site care, if applicable
• how they handled swelling, asymmetry, or other concerns
