ScottLand, my park I've been working on for almost two years.
Some screenshots of my park I've been *very slowly* working on since 2025.

Soundstage house queue area for Infinite Horror Nights
Prepared the entire queue lot for the houses I will be building when the DLC releases next week. 3 soundstage houses are in this area, themes are loosely hinted by the projected decals at their entrances, but more will come once the DLC releases. Probably not going to actually build queues until I can place house entrances and get a feel for what the build style will be.

Planet Coaster 2 Los Feliz Five & Dime - Buena Vista Street
Finished a few more facades that make up the Los Feliz Five & Dime store. Just 2 more facades to go before the street is done. The Carthay Theater is then the only building left to finish of Buena Vista Street!

Video - PC2 My First Real Attempted at a smallish Footprint Coaster
I tend to build way to big as you can see in most of the background coasters. But I thought I did well here, the guests seem to like it. Any Suggestion's on names cause I'm out of ideas on the 11th coaster of the park.

Question Planet Coaster sandbox player here. Would I enjoy Planet Zoo 2?
With Planet Zoo 2 having just come out, I’ve been getting a ton of videos recommended to me lately, and I’m curious! I’ve never played either Planet Zoo game, but I know some of the mechanics are similar to Planet Coaster, so I’m hoping some experienced Zoo players here can help me out.
First, a little context about how I play Planet Coaster. I’m not a huge management simulation guy. I barely touch career mode, and I’m not particularly interested in managing the business side of a park.
What I LOVE is sandbox building and immersive world-building. I’ll happily spend hours and hours building out a detailed, themed park, and my favorite part is getting to walk through it in first person and actually experience the world I’ve created. That’s really the appeal of these games for me.
And that’s what has me curious about Planet Zoo! The idea of creating a beautiful, immersive zoo and then getting to explore it as if I were actually visiting sounds incredibly appealing.
I guess I have two big questions:
First, how much freedom does sandbox mode actually give you? I don’t want to spend my time worrying about keeping animals alive, managing staff, balancing budgets, or dealing with a bunch of other simulation mechanics. Ideally, I’d love to just build whatever I want, populate it with animals, and enjoy the world I’ve created without having to worry about anything else. Can you essentially turn off all the management mechanics?
Second, and maybe more importantly, how immersive does the world feel once you’ve built it? How good is the first-person experience? Can you really wander around your zoo and feel like you’re visiting a real place? How detailed are the scenery and building options compared to Planet Coaster? Can you create richly themed environments with the same level of creativity and attention to detail, or does the game feel more focused on animal habitats and zoo management?
For me, the payoff of spending dozens of hours building something is getting to actually experience it from the ground. I’m curious whether Planet Zoo scratches that same itch.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s played both games, particularly if you approach Planet Coaster the way I do!

Console Problem connecting mouse to PC1 on PS4
Hey all!
I've been trying to use my mouse on my console to control the game. It used to work but now it won't. The console will confirm that a mouse is connected but the game will not let me control it with a mouse. No cursor or anything comes up when clicking dragging or moving the mouse. Does anybody know what's happening? If so please help!
Thanks!

Bug/Issue PC Help
Hello,
I've been playing the game for the last few weeks on two different PCS. My main PC runs it with no issue but my other one was lagging once I started letting the park get a little bigger.
That build was pretty dated so I just bought a new build within AMD x9800 x3d and an rtx 5070ti
After installing the game on my new rig I noticed I'm getting horrible screen tearing and micro stutters. Was not having this on any of my previous playthroughs. I've tried all different types of v-sync settings as well as frame gen on and off and honestly it just does not run smooth and I'm wondering if anybody has any kind of help they could throw my way. Thanks!

Discussion - PC2 Will I enjoy this game more than Planet Zoo 2?
Just curious, is the game as complex and buggy as planet zoo 2? How is pathing, building and management compared?
