Planet Coaster 2 Turns out, the zeppeling hangar will double as exhibition and restaurant.
This started as something entirely different, but sometimes you just keep tacking on stuff!

Finished a few more facades that make up the Los Feliz Five & Dime store. Just 2 more facades to go before the street is done. The Carthay Theater is then the only building left to finish of Buena Vista Street!

Hey everyone!
To celebrate the upcoming DLC, we're running a little Planet Coaster 2 creation competition over on PlancoVerse!
The prize? A copy of the upcoming DLC!
All we're asking is that you show us a creation you're particularly proud of.
It can be absolutely anything you've built in Planet Coaster 2, whether that's a roller coaster, themed area, building or even an entire park.
And no, you don't need to build something new! Existing creations are more than welcome.
The competition runs until October 27th 6PM (UK Time), and the winner will be chosen based on creativity, theming, detail and overall presentation.
You can enter using your creation's share code, and you don't need a PlancoVerse account to take part.
Full details and entries: The PlancoVerse Spooktacular!
Good luck, everyone! Really looking forward to seeing what you've all created. ❤️
You must submit your entries to the event link above, not on this thread. This is an independent community competition, not affiliated with Frontier Developments. Eligibility and full rules are available on the event page.

Does anyone think Frontier will give PC2 an overhaul graphics wise now that they’ve developed PZ2 and its incredible graphics? I’m bouncing back and forth between the two lol

I tend to build way to big as you can see in most of the background coasters. But I thought I did well here, the guests seem to like it. Any Suggestion's on names cause I'm out of ideas on the 11th coaster of the park.

Some screenshots of my park I've been *very slowly* working on since 2025.

Just curious, is the game as complex and buggy as planet zoo 2? How is pathing, building and management compared?

Prepared the entire queue lot for the houses I will be building when the DLC releases next week. 3 soundstage houses are in this area, themes are loosely hinted by the projected decals at their entrances, but more will come once the DLC releases. Probably not going to actually build queues until I can place house entrances and get a feel for what the build style will be.

With Planet Zoo 2 having just come out, I’ve been getting a ton of videos recommended to me lately, and I’m curious! I’ve never played either Planet Zoo game, but I know some of the mechanics are similar to Planet Coaster, so I’m hoping some experienced Zoo players here can help me out.
First, a little context about how I play Planet Coaster. I’m not a huge management simulation guy. I barely touch career mode, and I’m not particularly interested in managing the business side of a park.
What I LOVE is sandbox building and immersive world-building. I’ll happily spend hours and hours building out a detailed, themed park, and my favorite part is getting to walk through it in first person and actually experience the world I’ve created. That’s really the appeal of these games for me.
And that’s what has me curious about Planet Zoo! The idea of creating a beautiful, immersive zoo and then getting to explore it as if I were actually visiting sounds incredibly appealing.
I guess I have two big questions:
First, how much freedom does sandbox mode actually give you? I don’t want to spend my time worrying about keeping animals alive, managing staff, balancing budgets, or dealing with a bunch of other simulation mechanics. Ideally, I’d love to just build whatever I want, populate it with animals, and enjoy the world I’ve created without having to worry about anything else. Can you essentially turn off all the management mechanics?
Second, and maybe more importantly, how immersive does the world feel once you’ve built it? How good is the first-person experience? Can you really wander around your zoo and feel like you’re visiting a real place? How detailed are the scenery and building options compared to Planet Coaster? Can you create richly themed environments with the same level of creativity and attention to detail, or does the game feel more focused on animal habitats and zoo management?
For me, the payoff of spending dozens of hours building something is getting to actually experience it from the ground. I’m curious whether Planet Zoo scratches that same itch.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s played both games, particularly if you approach Planet Coaster the way I do!

Hey all!
I've been trying to use my mouse on my console to control the game. It used to work but now it won't. The console will confirm that a mouse is connected but the game will not let me control it with a mouse. No cursor or anything comes up when clicking dragging or moving the mouse. Does anybody know what's happening? If so please help!
Thanks!

Hello,
I've been playing the game for the last few weeks on two different PCS. My main PC runs it with no issue but my other one was lagging once I started letting the park get a little bigger.
That build was pretty dated so I just bought a new build within AMD x9800 x3d and an rtx 5070ti
After installing the game on my new rig I noticed I'm getting horrible screen tearing and micro stutters. Was not having this on any of my previous playthroughs. I've tried all different types of v-sync settings as well as frame gen on and off and honestly it just does not run smooth and I'm wondering if anybody has any kind of help they could throw my way. Thanks!

I’m playing in sandbox mode with all difficulty settings enabled, including food (it’s NOT turned off) but my customers rarely buy anything from the pizza stand, even when some of them are hungry. I don’t get it, I even set the price to $1 per pizza, I’ve only had 22 sales in two hours of gameplay.

With the new walkthrough attractions coming to Planet Coaster 2, I'm really curious how much freedom we'll actually have with them. Do you think we'd be able to use them as some sort of preshow before a ride? Like having guests enter a room, watch a short show or experience something, and then continue into the actual ride queue? That would open up so many possibilities for more immersive attractions. I'm also wondering whether we could create actual walkthrough mazes, where guests follow a custom path through different rooms or environments. Obviously haunted houses come to mind with the Spooktacular Pack, but imagine something like the Fairytale Forest at Efteling, where guests wander through a themed environment and discover different scenes along the way. It seems like the new system could potentially make something like that possible, depending on how much control we have over the paths, triggers, and guest behaviour. I'm really excited about the possibilities, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Could this be the beginning of proper preshows and walkthrough dark attractions, or am I expecting too much from the system (again)?
