Why is the screen pink, it keeps doing this for 10 days.

So i tried switching the hull of my childhood ds lite and while trying to disconnect the orange cable that connected the top screen to the motherboard it ripped. Can I replace/ fix it in any way?
I’d really appreciate some help I don’t want to buy an new one.

So, recently i have somehow discovered that some dev also doing a port of half-life for ds, He have a mit license. So i think that`s not a problem if i`m gonna implement some methods of optimization, He is also using a streaming of game materials & textures from sd in realtime. This is highly increases performance. The last time i compiled all of materials & model & textures in entire map in game rom, that was resulted alot lower quality of textures and performance.

Currently i`m merging some feautures to my port, that allows to increase perfromance & quality of textures. So i`m gonna use this method i think.

Current maps that is ported & polished is 71 of 99.

I managed to find a 3DS XL for £220 with one or two tiny cosmetic marks & DSi XL which looks like it was never used for £50 and i’m having a lot of fun replaying old games i used to enjoy in my youth.

It’s amazing how far these consoles have changed but there’s still nothing like going back and playing an old pokemon game.

I’m currently waiting for my preorder of the Zelda 40th Anniversary Console and controller with removable battery so i’m playing Majoras mask again on the 3DS!

I have this flash card and this SD, both of them work but certain games dont run on my dsl, games like zelda phantom hourglass (spirit tracks does), the others Inazuma eleven (except the first game) don't run ; the screen goes white.

I wanna download a new kernel or something to see if i can fix this, but i will do it on a new SD.

Does anyone know if it's a problem to use different SD cards to play certain games? If there's a problem in changing SDs or systems?

The hinge plastic is broken, which leads the top screen to pop off.
If it is relatively easy, I would be glad for recommendations to videos on how to fix and links for new shells if possible! Thanks in advance!

I opened my DS Phat board out of curiosity and was wondering what these are? There are these two components that look like crosses. What are they and what do they do EXACTLY on the DS Phat? When I open the battery shell there are like two holes for them.

When I plug my dsi in I get no orange saying that it’s charging. The cable definitely works as I tested it on another console. When I swap out the battery it powers on, and will charge in other consoles, so it must be the charging port. Im wondering what the next step I need to take to fix this would be? thanks for all the help. Wigging does not give any light flashes and I cleaned the port.
