How much should I charge for a full-stack CMS in Nepal?

I'm building a CMS website with an admin dashboard, user-facing panel, backend, database, and dynamic content management.

What's the reasonable price to charge in Nepal for a small-to-medium project, including deployment?

Would NPR 30,000 be fair?

4 years on Reddit today. It literally changed my life, but there's still one thing missing.

Today marks exactly 4 years since I joined Reddit, and looking back, it’s crazy how much this platform shape my life.

A random interaction with a girl on here asking about my personality type ended up becoming the topic for my final year thesis. That same thesis helped me become the batch topper and score a full scholarship for my MBA. Through Reddit, I’ve met people who guided me through crucial life/financial decisions, made money, and built friendships with people I still call every month even if we've never met in person. I've shared some really beautiful moments with people here.

In real life, I’m an M23 who finds it pretty hard to open up or make friends, but on here, I’ve always felt confident and comfortable. I’m super grateful for how far I’ve come and how well things are going.

Reddit basically gave me everything... except maybe a great date. So if any women out there are up for a genuine conversation (or see where things go), my DMs are open. Here’s to 4 years!

I just got gifted three shoes, a pair of of New Balance P400 and two pairs of Nike total 90, both are sized US 8.5. But I wear US size 10. So, I was wondering where I can sell those shoes here in Nepal.

Do anyone have any recommendations?

Festive seasons doesnt feel the same.

Dashin tihar used to be so exciting. Now I just hate them, gathering, relatives talks, someone's got on top what are you doing?....

The thing is, if there's no success, no one will know how much you tried alone. 🙂

Question/प्रश्न I am thinking of opening a puja bhandar in my town, anyone working in this field? how is the experience?

My family is considering opening a puja bhandar as a side business to generate additional income. There are already two similar shops in the locality, but both are on the opposite side of the highway.

I’d appreciate some advice, especially from those who have experience running a puja bhandar near a municipality’s main chowk.

  • What is the average profit margin in this business?
  • Where do you usually source your products and materials from?
  • What factors should we consider before investing, particularly regarding location, competition, and customer demand?
  • If you were starting this business today, what would you do differently based on your experience?

Any practical suggestions, insights, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever life feels heavy, I look at nature.

Look at how calm the lake is, and how the tall snow mountain shines quietly above the clouds. It does not rush. It does not worry. It just stands strong and peaceful.

Sharing this view from Pokhara with everyone here today. I hope it gives your eyes a rest and brings a warm, peaceful feeling to your soul. Stay strong and keep smiling.

Rant/गुनासो Ahhh I want to visit Kathmandu so badly

Post image
74 Upvotes

Ahhhh man I am so restless and want to visit kathmandu so badly that ahhh it physically hurts. Now you must be wondering why i want to visit kathmandu so badly and maybe even who i am. Well i am actually from west part of india. The thing is that i grew up in a toxic fucked up home it was really traumatizing and tbh heartbreaking that no one loved me or cared for me or even gave me attention. Hell they didnt even give me food and once even tried to end me. Ig you get a rough idea of my house now ig. So well what happens to a child who doesnt get love or forget love not even attention from home that child searches for it outside. Thats what i did and ended up loving the wrong people which traumatized tf out of me and then i desperately needed a father. i had seen once a post of baba (as they say father in my language ) kaal bhairava. That too the smiling one of kathamandu and i accepted him as my father cause i was desperate and ahhh most importantly baba accepted me too hehe. He has healed me a lot. So yeah ahhh now i want to come from all the way from west india to kathmandu just so i can see him ahhh kinda gonna be a long journey from west india to kathmandu but hehe no journey for baba is too long and hehe when i meet him i will probably wave my hand excitedly and giggle like a little kid and say “baba i am here hehe”. Take a photo so that if i forget or cant remember anything i still have that photo of him which i can always come back to hehe. ahhh I once saw a photo of a girl standing on smt and giving him a flower. Ahh well if they will allow me to get close to him and touch him i will gently and lovingly caress his cheek and hehe maybe even give him a kiss on his cheek or forehead.

.
Ahh btw the happy news is that i am finally moving out of my toxic abusive household so hehe will try to earn money and also focus a bit on healing. Then i got to get the passport cause i heard they wont let anyone in without passport or election id card so yeah. I hope i can meet him before the year ends hehe.

Btw if I offended any of you I sincerely apologise that was never my intention

Anyways thank you all for reading this. Hope you have a really lovely day. Lots of Love from India

And btw if you are too stuck in toxic household dont worry things will get better and you will leave too. I believe in you.

Once again lots of love from India

Thinking of switching from WorldLink to NT Fiber — how is it for PUBG?

I’m currently using WorldLink, but the price has increased quite a lot, so I’m considering switching to Nepal Telecom’s NT Fiber.

My main concern is gaming, especially PUBG. I don’t necessarily need very high download speeds — I mainly want a stable connection with low ping, minimal packet loss, and no random disconnections while playing.

For those using NT Fiber, especially in Kathmandu:

  • How is the ping/latency in PUBG?
  • Is the connection stable during peak hours?
  • Which NT Fiber package/ Mbps plan would you recommend for gaming?
  • Is something like 50/100 Mbps enough, or is it worth getting a higher package?
  • How does NT Fiber compare with WorldLink for gaming?

pashupati can be managed way better!

Pashupati area seems pretty find just around the extreme peri-feri of the main temple. but across the bridge, the stairs that goes towards the Guheshwari temple can be managed way better than it is being managed currently. For example the Visworupa Temple, as i went there today i got to know it hasnt been opened after the 2015 earthquake even though it is reconstructed already. Also, those areas really need police patrolling. They seem pretty unsafe for tourists especially with the presence of visitors who are just there for loitering around.

I ended up receiving the money that someone owes my family that was borrowed, I don't think there's a way to exchange it as Google says I need a receipt? Will I be able to take it out of airport or no? What's my best option guys?
