First the Falcons played in 3 straight Primetime spots for weeks 3-5 (TNF, MNF and then SNF) and now the Cowboys will be doing the same thing next for weeks 5-7 (TNF, SNF and then MNF).
Why does the scheduling feel so weird this season or is this just a common occurrence?

I’m a Niner fan so I obviously wouldn’t mind. But I feel like non-Chiefs/Niners fans would absolutely dread it.

They were on fire in 2025 . Super Bowl contender before the qb going down . What happened this season ? It's basically the same team.

It's been a year and half since her father, Jim Irsay, died. She's been on the sidelines, literally, for years and never drawn any attention. Then she became a meme. And now, today, she's made a huge decision as an owner. A franchise, hopefully franchise-saving, decision. It's going to be rough. This year and probably next are a waste. But the bandaid has been torn off. "Let it Bleed" is my favorite Rolling Stones album. And now, finally, it looks like the Colts are going to do that and rebuild. Finally. Thanks for taking the risk, CIG. But there's more work to do...

if Herbert retired after this year he will lose out on
2027:36 Million
2028:52 Million
2029:50,5 Million
He also would have to pay back part of his signing bonus. That means approximately between 30 to 50 Million.
Most human beings would not wanna miss the chance of making 136,5 Million and wouldnt want to pay back up to 50 Million of bonus money they already got.
Regardless if they lost passion for the sport. Only reason he would leave is maybe brain trauma or some physical injury which could effect him longterm.
Chargers releasing him directly is possible but thats over 130 Million dead cap space that would ruin the franchise for years.
Herberts No Trade Clause also means he can decide which destination fits him the best.

The Pats at 4-2 have the hardest SOS (Strength of Schedule) so far - at .583 - of any NFL team with a winning record this season. Seattle is dragging our numbers DOWN because they're only .500. No one wants to talk about the weak schedule posers anymore?

Dak, how do you let this happen? You got so mad when your own employee called you embarrassing, but where was that same fire on the field?
Two interceptions, an offense that couldn’t get anything going, and another performance that leaves us asking the same questions. If someone questions your leadership, the best response is to go out there and prove them wrong. Instead, we got more of the same.
I genuinely think Dak is a good dude. He represents himself well, and I respect what he’s done for this organization. But being a good person and being the franchise quarterback who can take us where we want to go are two different things.
I’m tired of confusing loyalty with having a plan for the future. We can appreciate Dak for what he’s done while admitting that he might not be the guy to get us over the hump.
At what point do we stop asking whether Dak is good enough and start planning for what comes next?
Cowboys fans, are you still riding with Dak, or is it time to move on?

With Jalen hurts being out, the Chris Johnson situation
And Multiple injuries to start the season. It makes me sit back and wonder. With all the information we have now compared to prior eras, I think people actually have the time to sit down and truly analyze just how barbaric this sport is.
It’s not like people in the past didn’t know this, the information is always going to be there. It’s just the access of that information is now more accessible
And people are starting to notice.
To give an example
(This might be a bad one bare with me)
People always saw War but the number of people seeing the gore of war increased as time went on especially with photos and videos if that makes sense
For example during the Vietnam war they used to show broadcast of the war to everyone on their home TVs at a specific time on a specific day but nevertheless in a way inspired the antiwar movement during the time
Now let’s fast forward to 2026 and you don’t even have to move to receive any information. Shit you don’t even have to be interested in the topic, the information just presents itself.
Which brings me back to my point, too many people are aware now, everyone can know anything. A random person that doesn’t even watch the NFL can see a random injury, look up the player, then go look up injury history of the nfl within minutes.
Back then as a kid I just had video to see how violent the sport was. Now these kids have ChatGPT, podcast, player interviews to tell them every reason why this ain’t the way Lool.
And I’m not trying to bash the NFL in this post at all I love the NFL but I just know that in this day and in age and it also saddens me that the place I work at the kids don’t even watch football anymore and the main reason they tell me is “it’s dangerous” but can you blame them with all the information they have on it now compared to when we were kids.
I don’t want the sport to end but in order for the youth to be interested in this sport, I do think there’s going to be a big shift on how the game is played.
I don’t know what that would look like but if the past taught me anything it’s that change will be inevitable.

How do you
Even let him play
Let him play after not sleeping for 32 hours?
He had an extremely real chance at dyin. And all because they wanted him to start an international game

The Eagles letting him play could’ve been life threatening. I know that sounds dramatic but Especially since it’s blood clots in his lungs, if he would’ve gotten hit the wrong way things could’ve gotten extremely bad. Hope for a healthy recovery for Hurts and everyone involved in this situation should be In big trouble

After reading all the feedback on the last post, I believe this is much more accurate
