Advice on handlebar top line

Thumbnail gallery
• Upvotes

Alright fellas, back here once again for some more holy wisdom. Received good advice to let my beard grow in more from my last post, so we've been letting it grow!

Question today is about my handlebar topline. I aim for a natural style stache, I don't want it overly styled, but the top line especially where my stache rolls down into the start of the curl, seems like a mess to me. I have not trimmed a hard line in on top outta some unknown worry, but no amount of brushing or blow drying or wax will tame it.

So the question is, is it as noticeable/awful as I think it is? And for those of you rockstars with a natural handlebar, how crisp do you trim your topline?

Question: How far in can I trim before it becomes a toothbrush?

Hi all. I'd like to ask, how far can I trim my moustache inwards before it becomes an infamous toothbrush moustache? the edges of mine are naturally the most sparse. So i'd like to make it look neat and stylish, but really want to avoid going TOO far with it. Could it work if I trimmed everything outside of the red lines for instance?

Terminal Length

8 years in the making. It has been interesting to go from a less full mustache to a fuller one as I age. Terminal length has been something I never really worked on till now and this is about it. Wish I could cover bottom lip but im very happy with what I have.

Is the moustache look OK?

This is my first time leaving a moustache and I will attend a formal work event that will be aired. I'm looking for feedback on the moustache; does it look good and should I do anything to it?

The moustache I was aiming was that of the attached celebrity, and I don't like too groomed moustache; I want it to be a bit more natural rather.

Looking forward to feedback.

Recommendations for non-american brands for extra strong hold

Hey all, I'm looking to get into shaping the 'stache but with all of the different products on the market I'm having a hard time choosing a wax to go with.

I'm in Canada, and specifically looking for non-American brands (f**k Drumpf and his trade war), anyone have any recommendations?

I'm looking for something that'll hold 8-10h at least, I don't mind if it takes a bit of extra work/heat to work it into the hair - my problem is that I have super thick hairs that just do whatever they want, so I need something that's got a very firm hold

Would a mustache suit my face shape? (1 week of growth so far)

Post image

Hey

I've been letting my mustache grow for a bit over a week now and I'm not sure whether to keep going.

You can see the current progress in the photo.

Do you think a mustache suits my face shape? If yes, any advice on the style or length that would work best?

Honest opinions welcome, thanks!

About 4 months - we’re getting there! I keep trimming at the top line of my lip before meetings but have been letting to for a few weeks. Really want to trim where the lips meet.
