Rework complete! Added bowstrings to all 8 bowmen and arrows to 4 of them.

Can't wait to get these painted! Just waiting for the Green Stuff to fully harden before getting started.

I know that orcs aren't known for their locks but I am not a fan of how the models normal hair ends up looking more like a do-rag than hair

Question Warhammer Display Bases

I’ve built these models on 130mm bases (I think), one for each movie. I got the jars from IKEA and now want to update my display. Does anyone know where to get good Warhammer display cases from? I’m in the UK and did look at wicked brick however they all appear to be 40k themed and couldn’t find anything neutral.

Question Help needed for gift

My partner used to paint Warhammer when he was younger, however sold off his collection a couple years ago. He loves lotr and has thought about picking the hobby back up, but isn't really committed.

So I'm thinking about gifting him a larger lotr figure for Christmas, so he can enjoy the creative process and just have it on display if he chooses not to carry on making them. The problem is, I don't know the first thing about which paints should be used with what, glues needed etc, and I'm a little worried about how much it would cost me to buy everything he'll need.

Some of the figures I'm considering are Winged Nazgûl™, Treebeard™, Mighty Ent™ and Beechbone™ the Ent™.

I'd really appreciate some advice on what paint sets to buy, or choosing a figure that might require less further purchases.

Discussion On average, or usually, how many dice do you need to play this game?

Hey, as the title says, usually how many dice do you need to play this game? For example, in 40k, there are scenarios when you're rolling 36-40-50+ dice for attacks. I'm about to buy some fancy 16mm dice for my armies and as a gift to a friend of mine, and I wanted to know if 10 dice are enough or not really? Ty

Question Free will dice to resist or cast magic question

I've seen a lot of players separate them, just wondering where in the rules it says they don't count as your own will. For example Sauron the Necromancer says he gains an additional free will point when casting. Do i have to separate them? Can i not might the free one or when resisting get the natural 6 and recover it?
