Those of you who haven’t jumped on the Michigan hockey train yet, you should! Crazy that number 1 vs number 2 isn’t on a major network. But who else is tuning in anyway?
Go Blue!

Michigan plays Denver this weekend for a duel between the top two teams in the nation. It should be great hockey that almost no one will get to see since it's not nationally televised. Big miss by the NCAA. They really need to get away from each conference having a streaming platform and get all games broadcasting in one place. If you really want to watch the games this weekend you can pay for a day pass on NCHC.tv

Exactly what it says on the title. For example, my best case scenario for tomorrow is that the offense will run more base offense, attack the middle of the field, and score 28 points.
For the season it’s that the offense will improve a little every game and end the season with a win in Columbus.

Greetings,
First time visitor to UM. Gf and I will be taking the D2A2 bus in to town on Saturday morning. I was wondering what the pregame festivities will look like without parking. Are there recommended bars to go to? Sights to def see? Can I walk around the area with open container?
Any information/advice would be greatly appreciated! Let’s hope for an entertaining game at least.
Cheers!

Whittingham said that marsh is off punt return duty. On top of his struggles, he also mentioned injuries. I assume that meant Kendrick Bell.

Does anyone know if they still or will have games or activities at the corner of the high school?
I’m bringing a couple of kids (10 and 7) and was hoping to find some fun stuff for them to do to make their first trip a little more exciting.

Jason Beck discusses why he believes different schemes have been ineffective.
He is asked about the Rhino and states he is unaware of outside criticism of the Rhino. Says the offense is more effective with the Rhino than not.
He alludes to issues with lacking the right personnel for different schemes and incorporating some of last year's rush attack in future games and adds that he recognizes ineffectiveness on perimeter schemes and will focus on north to south rushing.
He says Bryce has been feeling the outside pressure and working through. Mentions Carr's readiness, and says he is "one play away from having his number called"
He makes comments about his style of talking through tape behind the scenes. Reading between the lines, seems to suggest some players aren't as responsive to his questions / coaching style, dismisses this as "nervous players."

I was admitted to UofM but never attended. I still have access to MaizeTix through my @umich.edu email, but I don't have an account with Michigan Athletics.
I'm wondering how MaizeTix access works in this situation. Do they verify your student status or check your MCard when you enter games, or is having a valid ticket enough?
Has anyone had experience with this, especially for Michigan football or basketball games? I'd appreciate any clarification.

Hey y'all, so me and a few friends were thinking about coming to the Michigan vs. Michigan State game on November 7th (we’re from Canada). We were just looking at tickets right now and noticed that it was $98 USD. We were just wondering, should we buy the tickets right now? Do you think it's going to get cheaper? What section and seat would you guys recommend? Any input on any of this would be amazing, as it will be our first college football game. Thanks.

Since all the posts about Michigan football are negative about this team and the major issues on offense. I would like to take a moment to say Jay Hill is a fucking legend of a DC and the best coach on the staff by a mile. I'm not gonna take the time to do the analytics but I can almost guarantee Michigan's defense is the best in the land in points allowed based on the terrible positions they've been put in and how much time they spend on the field. They dont give up shit and keep the offense in these games. Major changes will be needed after this season and based on the great success we've seen at the head coaching level from our previous DCs. I would love to see the keys handed over to Jay.

This week's game against Penn State reminds me a lot of this 2007 game against Notre Dame. We famously lost to App State in week 1 and then less famously got destroyed in week 2 by Oregon. Notre Dame was also 0-2.
We demolished Notre Dame and ended up having a very solid season. Sending Lloyd Carr out with a win over Florida in the Capital One Bowl. Notre Dame would struggle to 3 or 4 wins. If you have the time I recommend watching this as it is a great spirit lifter. Go Blue!

Don’t expect drastic changes to the offense when Michigan football takes the field this Saturday.
