This week

I heard the guy who botched the handling of the creep at the Talent library last year got fired. Anyone have the deets?

The avalanche of ads and doorhanger fliers is getting crazy. Hicks latest flyer brings up 20-year-old allegations, later dropped as not prosecutable, against an person on a Colorado-based campaign consultancy who Krause employed in the primary election. No one claimed that Krause had anything to do with anything improper, but it was an attack point in the primary election and Hicks brought it up again.  That is the hit: you cannot trust Denise Krause. What a bunch of BS. Hicks began his campaign with the strongest possible message -- look at me, Mr. Nice Guy, Mr. Nonpartisan, and so clean-cut and earnest. If that were the real Brad Hicks voters might have bought it. But he could not sell it. Nor could he do it for the two decades at the Chamber of Commerce, where his organization was unabashedly partisan Republican. What we see now is nasty guilt-by-association thuggery. Krause is a retired healthcare manager, but he likens her to a sleazy lawyer from a TV show…Hicks is not Mr. nice guy after all.

Hey all, anyone know anything more about the closure of the contracting facility that worked to deliver packages with Amazon near Costco? I heard 170 workers are being laid off, and I'm wondering why the contractor chose to close it. There's so much in the news right now about Amazon and delivery contractors with New York City's pending law about contracting out with other companies.

Unfortunately I'm in a situation where im no longer able to keep my cats and I'm trying to find them a new home, together if possible. They are both girls. The white and gray ragdoll is about 5 years old. The brown tabby is a little over 1 year old. They get along great however they get a little rambunctious when they play sometimes. They are litter box trained. Currently are fully indoor cats. If anyone is interested or has any questions please send me a message.

Need minor restoration/touchup for old, faded wedding photos. Where to go to get hi-res scans?
