I'm working on a small brand that's already selling in a couple of markets, and we're about to launch in another one next quarter. But no one knows us there yet. It's a new state and we're in new stores.
Last launch I was all about the product and making sure everything around the physical bud was where it needed to be when it needed to be but then we got had by everything around it. Some stores only had half of our photos, one shop was running an old logo on its menu and the budtenders couldn't tell anyone anything about us other than the strain names.
So for this time, I really want to nail all of that down to make sure when we launch we are set up and that I don't have to run around double and triple checking every listing and store to make sure it's what we want out there.
SO, when a brand you've never heard of shows up and pitches themselves what makes you want to recommend it? What do brands send you that's useful and what do you ignore or don't bother with. I want to make the handoff as good as possible.
AND for the customers, what do you think about when looking at a new brand? Does a wrong listing bother you or are you just going off what the budtender recs?
