So im playing the Switch2 Demo and was saving a Starter set (who knows, maybe i'm buying it a third time so i can hunt on commutes/travel)

I can't name my Chatacabra Set Chatacabra because of "acab".

So i can't use a word in a game the Developer are using themself?

E:/ my default of naming Sets main weapons + element + LR/HR/MR or maybe a roll (support etc.)

In my own opinion hunting horn players are the most valuable teammates you could ask for. And this post is not to toot my own horn(pun not intended). I'm a LS main. But a good hunting horn player makes the difference between a challenging and an easy fight. Offensive and devensive buffs, healing, stuns through blunt damage and still contributing good damage. My team just breezed through AT arkveld like it was a chatacabra.

I have a strategy that i would like to test and see if it is effective. Most of the time my friends are not available to test this with. I'm looking for players who know how to coordinate in a hunt. My straty involves 3 hunters using fire elements preferably CB users (but any weapon will do as long as we constantly hit 1 part after another) and 1 (or me) using dragon element CB at the first and second phase. All three hunters will need to start attacking the left or right wing arm constantly to melt the tar, while the dragon element user will unleash attacks on the melted tar.

I tried this previously and I noticed it worked and I've been doing 1k+ per phial on every melted tar. But on the final phase. All hunters will have to equip dragon elements and keep on check on DPs build up.

I hope this will work again. Since I've been joining randos and helping them beat the quest. Most of the time we make it to the final phase but teammates keep dying.

I don't know what was said during the French stream so maybe they already elaborared on any of this:

- weird stuff being researched (no red crystals though?)

- NPCs from ALL villages/settlements are staying in the Stronghold (including the new Wudwud miners)

- We still have a tent, which could indicate no customizable housing (at least not immediately? second hub?). Or maybe customization will go different route this time (e.g. a non home place to place the endemic life etc.)

I just finished crafting this layered set but I just wanna know which layered weapon goes best with this armor

There are a good handful of monsters that I hope don't return, mostly because it would feel redundant to see them again.

Nargacuga can take a break, as can Zinogre. Velkhana I can definitely live without. Diablos I'm bored of, Azure and Pink too.

I hope to God Rajang doesn't come back, though I know in my heart he will.

Fatalis can stay in Iceborne, more so because I want a different final boss on his level.

2 weeks Critical Jewel 3 farming + multiple 99 melding and not a single freaking Crit Jewel 3. at this rate Im starting to think of quitting the game, the RNG is too much i mean dont get me wrong, i love the game i love the fighting and stuff but man i just need 1. just how rare is this mf-ing jewel.

October is almost over and i think it's a good question to ask. outside of surprise capcom presents, TGA looks like the place for the big flagship trailer and wilds into spotlight again. I'm only asking because of time with October almost over and then just 2 months until 2027.

I'm excited for release date and flagship, i can't wait until we get the reveal before 2026 is over.
