I just bought my first bag! I’m SO excited and in love. I wanted to share here because I see a lot of negativity about bad experiences and bags but mine was incredible. The SA knew exactly what I needed which was not what I came for.

I originally came for the speedy 25 in damier ebene but when he pulled this out I fell in love! I feel that it has an element of class to it. (And more expensive) but the cost justifies how I feel about my first luxury bag purchase. I’ve worked very hard to get where I am and at 44 years old I’m super excited to be able to have something I can pass down later own that isn’t China like my grandmother did 😊

An early 40th birthday present after a tough year. Ive only ever owned pre-loved bags. I asked to see scarves and said my favorite color was blue and she said they just got this one in. When I saw it I teared up because I recently lost my dad and he was a big train lover. I knew I had to get it. I had the SA in tears too after I told her. It was a special moment. I know having a scarf on this bag isnt for everyone but I love it.

I sent the photos to LV Service/ Atelier. They gave me an estimate of $1070.00USD.

Should I go for the repair?

Do you like the black fleece jacket 🧥 or the shearling fur/suede jacket 🧥 it’s reversible? I think the black might be more versatile and maybe I would wear it more? But the fur/suede is cool 😎 too, but I would only wear that when it’s really cold 🥶. What do you think? I live in NYC so it’s getting cold! 🥶

Going to LV today after work to exchange my nano Diane as it’s just too small for my lifestyle now 😭 I have been staying away from this bag for so long because it’s always seemed like a safe but not as fun bag to have, but now that I’m older its size and everything is so much more appealing to me! I originally wanted the black but I saw someone on TikTok wearing the Vachetta and actually really liked it! If you have this bag, which did you get and why?

My Carryall East-West arrived and I’m already obsessed. The color is a perfect creamy off white. It’s also the most comfortable bag I’ve ever owned, and it slouches so nicely when worn and full of stuff.

I am very careful with my things but I wanted to ask the experts on this sub how, if at all, to protect the leather. I’ve read Apple Guard and Bick, but I’m so nervous to try it on my first leather LV bag. I dont want to discolor the leather or mess up the hardware. Any suggestions with product or application tips?

Lizard 🦎 skin is one of my favourite types of exotic leather! I love the many prominent rings arranged in a near-symmetrical pattern on this particular Multiple Wallet. Moreover, I also really appreciate the ombré effect – the colour of the skin changes from light grey at the centre to darker shades of grey at the sides. The glazing on the edges is light grey to match the colour of the lizard skin, and the interior is dark grey and made of goatskin, possibly for durability. Overall, this piece is quite possibly the nicest lizard wallet I have seen from any brand so far!

Saw her at the store and haven’t stopped thinking about her. Shes just so different to all of my other bags.
I’ve never had an LV that’s not leather or canvas.

Wondering if it’s a good investment & how she’ll hold up.

Recently got the opportunity to take a look at a neighbor’s collection that’s she’s eventually looking to sell (more than half) before retiring and moving states.

A 15/20yr old barely used Trevi may have caught my eye. Could be nostalgia… a time when such bags looked like mildly unattainable accessories (to a middle class kid attending an Ivy League college with tons of wealthy kids everywhere). But could also be a highly usable and easy to style retired style….

Anyone agree/disagree? Willing to share pictures of how you’ve styled a Trevi? I’m a structured bag gal by nature, though giving slouchy a turn again 15+ yrs after college (when boho bags were in vogue)

Couldn’t get these in my size in the UK. So tried at the NYC 57th Street location and had the last pair in the size I needed 🥰

Left them in the sun for just a few mins to see how much they glowed and was very impressed.

My brand new CarryAll East-West I got in store (3 hours from my house) yesterday… I literally just took the protective stickers and tags off and noticed this stitching hiccup. It’s directly on the front of course 😵‍💫 not sure what I should do.

After debating to get this for a while I got super lucky and purchased the last one at my home store. I read many comments on here about the size and it’s bigger than most pochette varieties out right now. The strap is a little different but if you chose to switch to a crossbody one it doesn’t look awkward at all. Highly recommend this bag and plan to get a hot stamp when I go on vacation in a few months

After a long hunt for the perfect Manhattan PM, she’s arrived and hands down one of my favorite pieces so far. She’s 19 years old 😍

Now on to find her big sister, the GM!

I did the pre-order, and I picked her up yesterday. Last night was date night with the hubby, so of course she had to make her debut. It comes across extremely shiny in pictures, but in person it’s not as obnoxious as some people think it is. It does not have the extended strap like the other Alma’s, so the strap is one length. Also my SA did not recommend putting a scarf on the handle because of the color transfer. She also gave me a 5 minute discussion on how important it is to store this bag in the dust bag when not in use, due to how quick the color transfer from other items will bleed into the bag. Overall, I love it and I’m happy!
