Broke my wave+ today. Can I get it replaced?
Will leatherman warranty this? I bought it new, dont have a receipt. I didn't misuse it, just broke. If not are there parts available, or should I just get a surge?

Picked up this Stars & Stripes Wave+ recently and noticed one listed on eBay for $450 and another used example for $350.
Does anyone know how many of these were actually produced? I am curious whether they are genuinely rare or whether these are just optimistic eBay prices.
Would love to hear from anyone who collects these limited editions.

I’m looking for opinions and any advice.
I’ve got 100 bucks in REI rewards. I can pick up the Wave Alpha for a cool 100 out of pocket and then get some titanium scales. All in around 160-190 for a custom Alpha TTI.
Or I can spend more out of pocket for the Arc Talos.
I will say the tools of the Alpha appeal more to me overall, but I really like the action of the Arc. I tried the standard Arc today and I was really impressed by it.
Curious what you all think, thanks in advance!

I may have overlooked the camouflage properties of the talos

I bought a zapwizard holster (zap you out there ? ) a few years back for the ARC. I bought the open face model, with side mounts for a ratchet, an extension and the rear of my ARC had storage for 6 bits.
I see (hadn't looked at your stuff in a while) that you now have a holster with front bit storage, rear holster bit storage and the ratchet and extension (on holster left and right sides ).
Do I need to buy a new holster to have front storage with back storage? I'm guessing yes. I read you warned about pocket snags but the additional storage let's me do away with one Altoids tin completely (with additional torx and such)

I was recently gifted an arc and it is a very nice multi tool, however when closing it from being pliers one of the sides seems to take about twice the amount of force to close/get over the ears that hold it open.
Is this normal and it will break in over time or should I exchange it?

Hello all. One of my coworkers downsized and gave me a bunch of free tools. This LeatherMan was in a box with a bunch of miscellaneous items. I don’t have any idea how old it is but the leather sheat is a nice extra.

Hi guys. I need some advice on which Leatherman should buy.
I work as a"cable guy" in sports and TV programs and carrying a multi tool is very needful. I have a Daicamping DL7, which works very well, but since a few days it has a wiggle that continues wiggling even if I fix it.
So I plan to enter in this Leatherman world but I don't now which one to buy.
I've been searching and i doubt between the Curl, the Rebar, and the Wingman. I also found the Blast, but is no longer on the store :(
Which one do you recommend?
Update
Thanks for all the recommendations, but I'm looking for to start in this Leatherman multi tools, and the options in the comments are to expensive just to start 😅
Which one of the three options I've seen is the best? (I should have specified, my bad 🙏🏻)

Picked up a minty Juice S2 today for $50 on Facebook marketplace. Overall, looks like a good light duty tool. Size comparison is with my Free T4, which is my normal office carry. I don’t have a lot of use for a pliers in the day to day, but occasionally I do. These are light duty, but would work for things like tightening bolts. I’m not sure I could cut baler twine with the wire cutters. Maybe chicken wire.
With the exception of the key ring, the tools on the S2 are pretty easy to access. You can get to the knife one handed, but it takes a conscious effort.
One thing that surprised me was the scissors. They’re huge considering the tiny size of the tool. They cut well.
I think I prefer the T4, but the S2 definitely feels like more of a Leatherman tool to me because of the pliers. S2 probably wins in terms of carry because of the key ring and smaller size and width.

I've been putting together my Surge carry and added a ratchet kit to it. Some of my tools are 1/4" bits, some are leatherman slim bits.
Whilst the slim bits fit mechanically on a 1/4" driver they fall out.
I 3d printed some adaptors that hold them in place - push fit into the 1/4" socket. They're PLA but work fine as the torque is taken up by the slim bits themselves - these simply stop them falling out of the 1/4" sockets.
Quote pleased with this, will stick up on Makerworld for free download if anyone is interested.

The Leatherman is a custom P2/ARC. While the P2 originally weighed close to 8oz, it now weighs 6.5oz with two interchangeable bit drivers and a U.S. made Arc Magna cut blade.
The Benchmade is the Mini Bugout, with double colors before they were available. I bought two knives, a orange and a yellow, and swapped the handles on both of them. now the two-tone handle colors are available on all custom Bugouts.
Thanks for enjoying, I am happy to answer any questions!

Day 3 rocking the t shank adapter. I have to say, I think I prefer this big time over the factory serrated blade I rap replaced. It's nice having the option of swapping blades out, too. Definitely not for everyone - but if you've been on the fence... I say grab one!
Anyone else running t shanks on your LM? Let's see em!

I wondered how back-then a "tacticool" black knifeless might have looked; today, I made it and I'm liking it! No glare, low-key, easy to service, and same functions as the OE. L-OE Knifeless Rebar; R-BO version.

I got this in a lot of knives at auction for $24. First time I've seen a supertool with a retailer's branding on it.
The logo is professionally etched into the handle, and the tool is in fantastic shape, date code 0997.
Is anyone aware of documentation on a Leatherman/Cabela's collaboration?

Scissors, medium flat driver, small flat driver and file.

Preferably the round can opener not the claw style

I am new here. I didn’t like how the surge I just bought took flat bits I had to buy if I wanted anything besides the Philips and flat it came with or would have to buy a $15 adapter. I took a junk hex bit adapter I already owned and hit it on the belt grinder for few seconds until it fit. Now can run hex bits no problem.
