Guidelines for Sales Posts
When posting an item for sale, please make note of these guidelines.
You must include a sales price, either in the title or in a comment.
While not strictly required by the rules, it is strongly encouraged that you add a comment with some description and details about the item in question.
Our rules do not allow linking to a general store page, but you are permitted to link directly to an item for sale on your own domain. In other words, if you're selling an item and you just link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com, that breaks the rule. But if you link to www.stinkovsleathergoods.com/the_item_i_am_selling, this is allowed and encouraged.
If you have multiple items to sell, please consolidate them into one post instead of spamming the board with many different sales posts.
Reposts are okay as long as the original listing is no longer on the main page.
Remember to flair your post so people can easily parse the listings. Be sure to change the flair to mark sold items.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comply with our rules! Happy selling.

Guidelines For Commissions And Requests
DISCLAIMER:
/r/leatherclassifieds does not facilitate or guarantee transactions of any kind. This is a contract between you (the buyer) and whatever seller you choose. Always be cautious when making purchases online and do your research. We hold no liability over any transactions or agreements you may make with other members of this board.
With that said, here are some guidelines to hopefully make your commission process go a little smoother.
Have a budget or a budget range in mind and include it in your post. It does not need to be an exact or fixed number, but knowing your price range is critical before offering any kind of bid. If your budget is open and you want to explore many possible bids, please make that known.
Common details that are useful to know up front are things such as color, thread color, or leather type. If you want a wallet, know what you want to carry in it and what it needs to do to meet your needs. The more specific you can be about what you want out of your commissioned piece, the quicker and easier it is to make.
If you already know what you want, it is helpful to add photographs, sketches, or even links to other products similar to what you are seeking.
If you need the item delivered within a certain time frame, please specify that up front.
It is difficult to convey the reality of the amount of work involved with answering a commission request. Understand that good work takes time, and time usually implies money. Very few people will be interested in replicating mass-market items for mass-market prices, or creating a completely custom item without adequate compensation. Don't be shy to ask, but please try to keep this in mind when doing so.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. More importantly, thank you for your willingness to support our makers and businesses.

SELL Handmade Leather Tote Bag with Zipper for everyday use. Paypal Accepted - $ 189
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on designing the ultimate everyday tote bag for a while now, and I wanted to share it with you all to get your thoughts.
As someone who carries notebooks, chargers, and the usual everyday carry items, I was always frustrated by totes that either felt too flimsy, had straps that dug into my shoulder, or didn't have enough organization.
So, I decided to build one myself. Here are a few details on what went into it:
- The Leather: We use full-grain leather that has a gorgeous natural pull-up. It's built to develop an incredible patina the more you use it—scratches just blend right into the character.
- Functionality: It features a secure interior zipper pocket, and quick-access slip pockets for your phone and keys.
- Comfort: We made the shoulder straps wider and double-stitched them so they stay comfortable even when the bag is fully packed.

COMMISSION I Just Finished This Himalayan Niloticus Card Wallet
I recently finished this compact bifold card wallet for a customer and wanted to share it here.
The wallet measures just 7.8 × 10.2 cm, with 5 card slots and 2 hidden compartments. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and easily slips into a shirt or jacket pocket.
It keeps the traditional bifold design in a smaller, more convenient form.
For the exterior, I used Himalayan Niloticus crocodile leather from Heng Long Tannery, paired with Marine Alran Sully chèvre for the interior.
I’ve always been impressed by the quality of leather from Heng Long Tannery. Their hides have excellent quality and finishing. While they come at a premium price, I believe they’re well worth it.
At the customer's request, I also added a small pocket made from Himalayan Niloticus leather to the interior as a distinctive detail.
As with my other pieces, the entire wallet was handmade by me, including the saddle stitching with 0.45 mm Meisi linen thread.
This wallet is made to order and not kept in stock. If you’re interested in having something similar made, feel free to message me. We can discuss leather options, color combinations, customization, and estimated production and shipping times.

SELL BRAVO Bag – Handmade Epsom Calfskin & Suede
This is BRAVO, one of my handcrafted leather bag designs, featuring a bold combination of navy blue and orange.
The bag is made entirely by hand using premium Epsom calfskin and soft suede leather. I wanted to create a contrast not only in color but also in texture, combining the structured, finely grained surface of Epsom leather with the softness of suede.
Each BRAVO bag takes approximately 60 hours of hands-on craftsmanship to complete, from cutting and preparing the leather to stitching, assembling, and finishing every detail.
Details:
- Materials: Epsom calfskin & suede leather
- Colors: Navy blue & orange (custom color combinations available upon request).
- Craftsmanship: Fully handmade
- Production time: Approximately 60 hours
- Price: $1,950 USD
- Lead time: 30 days (made to order)
I really enjoy working with contrasting colors and textures, especially when they bring a unique personality to a classic bag design.
Thanks for taking a look at my work!

TRADE Trading for Goods/Tools
Also open to buying, but I was pointed here from r/craftexchange! I'm in the market for a decent amount of leather goods (a few belts, a dopp kit, and a couple tote bags) and potentially tools to get into the hobby myself - thought it could be fun to trade skills for any or all of the above. I mostly knit and dye fabric, but I also have some supplies that could prove useful to someone!
The picture above has a small lot of Gutermann Mara thread, an amount of camel leather I'd be willing to send someone, and a wool/silk cowl I'm happy to send over or recreate! I do knit anything from hats to larger sweaters and shawls, so happy to discuss a larger trade if anyone would be interested.
Apologies if this isn't necessarily the right venue, but everyone's work here is incredible!

BUY I want a leather wallet with hole for a chain or is that blasphemy?
Hey guys. I've been lurking here for awhile as I'm tired of burning through cheap wallets every 2 years. The one thing I've noticed is I've never seen a wallet with a chain hole on it in this sub. Is that blasphemy? Thanks!

In search for manufacturing/workroom
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a skilled leather goods maker or small workshop to collaborate with and hopefully build a long-term working relationship.
I’m especially interested in independent craftspeople, small mom-and-pop workshops, talented leather artisans, or even students with exceptional skills. You don’t need to be a large manufacturer. Quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and good communication are what matter most to me.
A little about what I’m looking for:
Location: Ideally Manhattan, Brooklyn, or the surrounding NYC area so I can be hands-on throughout the development process. I’m also open to Paris or Milan, as I travel to both regularly for work.
Initial projects: Two leather handbags — one relatively simple everyday shoulder bag and one more detailed, structured handbag.
Production: I’d like to start with developing and perfecting the two samples, then move into small-batch or made-to-order production. I’m not looking for large-scale manufacturing.
Materials: I’ve already sourced quality leathers in Paris and can arrange to have the hides shipped directly to your workshop.
Long-term potential: I have several other designs I’d eventually like to develop, but I’d prefer to start with these two and build a strong working relationship.
I’m particularly interested in working with someone who genuinely loves the craft and takes pride in making beautiful, exceptionally well-constructed leather goods.
Small workshops, independent makers, experienced craftspeople, and talented students are all very welcome. I’m more interested in the quality of someone’s work than the size or reputation of their business.
If this sounds like you, or you know someone who might be a good fit, I’d love to connect. Feel free to comment or send me a DM with examples of your work!
Thanks!

Red scale-embossed leather and smooth cream panels: my latest zip top bag
Sharing my latest piece. The top band, corners, handles and base are in dark red scale-embossed leather, and the front and back panels are smooth cream leather.
Everything was cut and stitched by hand, about five days of work. The handles are 5 in (12.7 cm) drop, and I added four metal feet so the base never touches the floor.
The strap is cream woven webbing with an embossed red leather overlay, removable, up to 41 in (105 cm). Body is 15.7 x 12.6 x 5.5 in (40 x 32 x 14 cm).
Happy to answer questions about the construction.

SELL Green Men's Vertical Full Grain Leather Card Wallet For Sale

BUY Rugged wallet
Hey everyone.
I do on site job in factory. I deal with sweat, water, and machine oil all day long, and I need a front-pocket wallet that can actually survive without turning into a sponge.
Right now I carry a little envelope wallet. I like the compact size, but I'm completely sick of having to fold my cash three or four times just to shove it in there. And maybe because of oil and sweat it's cracked bond of leather
I want to commission something custom. I’m completely open to the overall shape (maybe a slim vertical half-fold?), as long as it solves my cash problem and stays relatively thin.
Basically, It has to fit US bills folded exactly once (half-fold) and hold a 4-5 cards.
and I need some fun detail my girlfriend gave me a one coin for luck(size around quarter). I never take it out. I just need a tiny, super-tight "hidden pocket" or slit (maybe behind the cards or cash) where I can shove this single coin so it never falls out. I don't want a bulky zipper or snap pouch just for one coin.
Heavy oil-tanned or waxed stuff. Think Horween CXL, Dublin, Wickett & Craig Harness, or SB Foot. Something loaded with oils to naturally repel grease and water. I just investigate through internet that I'm open to all different leather if it's strong enough.
Lastly, 100% hand saddle-stitching with thick thread. Edges need to be properly burnished. No edge paint that peels off, and definitely no raw edges left open to soak up oil.
I’m hoping to keep this under $100 USD if possible. I don't need a delicate luxury piece, just a rigged one.
Appreciate it.

SELL Compact Crazy Horse snap wallet with a coin pocket, hand stitched - CHF 89
I sewed wallets for about 3 years, quit around 2020 because selling was the hard part, and came back after I saw there was demand. This is the wallet I'm making now.
Price: CHF 89, free shipping within Switzerland. Ships from Switzerland in a kraft gift box.
It's about 9.5 x 8 cm. I gave it 2 snaps, 2 outer card slots with a thumb cutout (you can tap to pay without pulling the card out), a coin pocket with a spring frame and a magnet, and a full-length slot for notes. Waxed Crazy Horse outside, suede-look lining inside, every seam by hand.
