I found this old one, which seems to be from JTV, but correct me if i'm wrong.

A friend and I were interviewed for a program called シューイチ★セブン that aired on October 17th. I’d like to watch it if possible, but it looks like Shuichi hasn’t posted it on TVer or Hulu. If anybody knows where I could watch it. I’d really appreciate the help.

Years ago I was a subscriber to iSakura Tv until it imploded and moved to Himawari. I went to renew himawari and was told here it would no longer have NHK.

So I read a post that Kantan TV has NHK and signed up for the free trial. It worked great (except for the shitty UI) but now that I’m on month 2 it lags every 10 seconds. A 30 minute show might take 1.5 hours to watch because of a pointless lag. I have fiber internet so it is not an internet issue. It just lags because it wants to. Not on live TV.

So is there anything left or are we just screwed.

Hi, I'm pretty old myself and new to the IPTV scene but as JME tv is about to expire next spring, I'd like to find a way to allow my 85 yo mom to watch Japanese TV. She lives in a nearby assisted living facility and I have Jubilee TV service installed so that I can change her TV channels for her.

I think based on my research I need to switch over from Roku to Fire Stick (I have one that I had at my late dad's place), install a JapanTV app (subscribe on My Planet TV), or something like that.

Her favorite show is the New Year's special, "Geino-jin Kakuzuke Check." Should we be able to watch this with the above setup?

She also like things like Tsurube-san, Bura-Tamori, "Konna Tokoroni Nihonjin", etc. Basically anything that kind of feels like the old "Naruhodo The World" from the 90's would be great for her.

I also plan to subscribe to NHK World Premium which I think will be a separate app also accessible from the Fire Stick.

Does anyone have experience with this, and if so, your thoughts and advice please? I'm pushing 60 and not particularly tech savvy and certainly not confident about these things. Thanks in advance for any help!

So I'm now hearing about this UBox 12 / 12 Pro, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. Google AI seems to think it can be integrated with the Jubilee console.

That, and I'm looking into the ONN stick as suggested below. Google AI seemed to think that it might be hard to get around Google's attempts to shut down the sideloading apps, although it seems to be working fine for u/Georninja!

Anybody rememners ojaru maru hungama tv show ?

After watching both shows on Netflix recently after I stumbled upon it by accident, both shows more or less have the chaotic energy that Attack Of The Show! on G4TV had in its peak. More specifically, the ridiculous games and challenges, the hosts bouncing off each other, the celebrity guests getting thrown into increasingly absurd situations, and the sheer willingness to let things get completely chaotic. All within a fancy TV studio.

That being said, I'm curious as to which shows on Netflix, Hulu etc are similar to Golden SixTONES and/or Monday Late Show that I can check out :) For what its worth, the only other show I know of are Nogizaka Under Construction on YouTube.

I already have a japanese playstore account, tver worked fine with vpn but abema never seemed to work at all.

So the VLC doesn't work and scrolling through the sub only seems to provide nothing but doom and despair. Is there actually a way to get access to the channels again or do we have to wait for the next best method to arrive?

I found the Japanese Dub of Scooby Doo: Zombie Island on reddit and now I'm hooked.

Apparently there are dubs out there for Curse of the Witches ghost, the 2002 live action movie, and even the original 1969 TV show but I haven't been able to find anything other than clips. I'm dyingggg to watch "Yowamushi Kuruppa (弱虫クルッパー)" the Japanese adaptation of the TV show.

Anyone have any ideas where to find any of the episodes? Really hoping this media isn't already lost.

I have been using the iptv stream links in iptv-org to watch major Japanese channels like Nippon TV, Fuji TV, TBS, etc, but in the past week or so, all of these streams have become infested with obnoxious cut-ins to Korean ads that abruptly happen every couple minutes, which has made these streams pretty much unwatchable.

Does anyone happen to know of other iptv stream links that exist for the major Japanese channels?

My specific goal is to access the live broadcast feed of National Geographic Japan from outside of Japan.

I’ve looked into trying to access it officially via SKY PerfecTV! streaming, but between the aggressive geo-blocking, account creation hurdles, and the requirement for a physical B-CAS/A-CAS card number, it seems like a massive headache to set up from abroad. I know they also flag standard data-center VPN IPs easily, so a residential IP VPN setup sounds complicated.

Instead, I'm looking into dedicated expat IPTV packages. For those living overseas, what are the best and most stable IPTV services (like iSakura, JapanTV, etc.) that reliably include the Japanese CS/premium documentary channels like Nat Geo?

Appreciate any recommendations or specific setups that are working well for you guys!

I was able to subscribe and it’s fine for live Tv but I haven’t been able to find recorded programs or be able to record upcoming programs or even record the one playing right now. You can choose to go back to the beginning of the show - that’s all.
