Discussion I Will Be Your Bloom (2022)
So, I found out 8LOOM some time ago... I plan to watch this series since I usually enjoy Idol-esque drama and I like several of Fumiya Takashi's project. But reading its overview and several clips its weirded me out a little. My problem is the student-teacher romance connotation between the two main actors. Is it just me? Is this series still worth to watch?

Discussion Kidnap Game Ep. 2๐
I am still laughing and recovering from the sheer second-hand embarrassment of Episode 2.
Man really had a mission to get 10 million pesos, decided his best financial strategy was to take his absolute life savings to a casino to double it, and proceeded to speedrun losing every single centavo in record time. Absolute legend behavior... if your goal is immediate self-destruction.
Instead of accepting defeat, he ropes his poor son Rickyโwho literally works as a security guard at that exact bankโinto the most low-budget, chaotic, and poorly thought-out heist plan known to mankind.
Trying to slip into the vault right as an armored cash truck rolls up? Genius.
Using a suitcase switcheroo in broad daylight with zero backup? Mastermind.
Getting instantly tackled, arrested on the spot, and watching your failure turn into a viral public spectacle while screaming about a kidnapper? Cinematic masterpiece.
The whiplash from the dark, tense thriller pacing in Tokyo straight to Miguel and Ricky trying to pull off a โฑ0-budget Money Heist in Manila nearly gave me whiplash.
Anyone else lose it during this scene, or was it just me?

Recommendations Please recommend some sweet romance dramas with hot male leads!
I really want to watch more J-dramas, or dramas in general, but I always struggle to finish them if I donโt find the male lead attractive. ๐ญ I know this might sound like a weird question, but please recommend some sweet romance dramas with hot male leads

Question Where can I watch this series?
I only know the name of this series or movie but not in English. It's "30-Sai Mokuzen, Jinsei Sekkei Kuruimashita (2024)" and I tried looking for it but I can't find where to watch it. Has anyone seen it?

Recommendations Jdramas where he loved someone else and then falls for the heroine
I'm new to Jdramas and mostly I watch mystery dramas but I've watched them so much so I now want to cleanse my palate.
I'd really like recommendations where hero loves someone else(can be gf/friend) and he genuinely does, and then he meets the heroine. And he takes time before he falls for heroine.
I kind of want to feel very hurt for the heroine because her love is unrequited for him for a long time. Or because she knows he loves someone else.
I've watched all versions of Itazura no Kiss and Incurable Case of Love.
But I'm waiting for some other recommendations with my delighted heart!
Thank you for helping me.
PS: Definitely want Happy Ending.

Recommendations Please recommend me Jdramas with ML like Suzuki from Marry my Husband
Marry my husband is the first Japanese drama that I watched from beginning to end, I was totally moved by the gentlemanly and shy Director Suzuki. Would you recommend other Japanese dramas with that kind of ML? I don't like comedies but I watch any other kind of romance with drama, corporative, contract, mystery, anything really I'm just not a fan of comedy.

Recommendations The classic Grumpy ML x Sunshine FL. Recs!
It's one of my favorite story archetypes. I can't get enough.
For reference, one of my favorite stories of all time, in all iterations, is Itazura Na Kiss. There is no limit on what level of grumpy the ML can have.
I am immersing myself in Japanese language to learn so it has to be Japanese, ideally on Viki, and het romance is my preference, please!
I love all kinds of female leads, but, slightly dumb golden retriever ones are my favorite.
I've watched Good morning call and and incurable case of love. I'm sure I watched more but I actually haven't watched a Dorama in years, so I can't even remember all the ones I actually watched. (I remember my first one ever was Attention Please! On Youtube in like 240p many years ago ๐ )

Discussion Just finished watching 'Jin'... on Netflix
Very very *very* late to the party I'm sure, but I just finished watching 'Jin' on Netflix (after I'd finished Last Samurai Standing and House of Ninjas) Really, really not my usual cup of tea, but was hooked !
I'm hoping there's a 2nd season for Last Samurai Standing, and same for House Of Ninja's , but the latter was several years ago, even tho it ended on a definite cliff hangar begging for another season (at least!)

Discussion Soda master is fun and intriguing
Let me start by saying. Who the hell names a show soda master :D
It took me 2 tries to get through first episode, the title was just too weird and intro scenes are cheap anime budget. But coming from GTO 2026 I wanted more sorimachi.
I am at episode 8 and this show kicks Jackie chans ass (soda master) well it's a mystery show and honestly the kids and adults are a great cast.
I am starting to hate jdrama tbh, Everytime am like I just watched the best show, time to move on to American tv, I find the next banger.
Damn you netflix.
Go watch soda master!
Edit: finished it! 10/10
