I built NutriyaAI, a nutrition tracking app powered by AI

I wanted to build something that could make everyday nutrition tracking simpler, so I created NutriyaAI.

It's a mobile app focused on helping people track their calories, understand their eating habits, and work toward their health and fitness goals.

I built it with Flutter and integrated AI capabilities into the experience. Getting from an idea to a working app has taught me a lot about mobile development, integrating services, and bringing a product to market as an independent builder.

Now I'm working on getting it into people's hands and learning what I should improve next.

I'm sharing it here because I'm proud to have brought the project this far, and I'd love to hear constructive feedback from other people who build things.

If you were trying a new nutrition app, what would make you keep using it?

I'd especially appreciate feedback on the user experience and what would make food tracking easier.

I'm the developer behind NutriyaAI, so I'm naturally biased—but I'm interested in honest feedback!

Learn to Think in Code, Not Just Read It

Post image
2 Upvotes

Been spending a lot of time working on CodeSamjho lately.

So I have been building a way to see that process rather than just read about it.

There’s 2D Cinema, where you can follow code execution line by line, and 3D Cinema, where algorithms like sorting, graph traversal and linked lists are explained through animated visualizations.

Along the way, I have been working on support for Python, JavaScript, Java, C, C++ and SQL, along with the little things that make the experience feel right.

It’s taken quite a few iterations to get here. Some things broke, some ideas didn’t work as expected, and there’s still plenty to improve.

But seeing code turn into something you can actually watch and follow has been the most satisfying part.

I built a free leaderboard where side projects are ranked by real clicks

Hi all. I built BuildShipper, a simple leaderboard for indie projects. You list your project for free and it gets ranked by how many people actually click through to it.

It is early and not public-wide yet, so I am looking for the first projects to list. If you have something shipped, I would love to have it on there: https://buildshipper.com

Honest feedback on the idea or the site is very welcome too.

Thank you 😄

I’ve made the platform I’ve imagined since I was a kid

• Upvotes

Hi, I’m Ric.

Aaaand I’m building a platform all around ideas. So I think I’m in the right place.

You know, we already have plenty of public digital spaces where you can share ideas: Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit. But they’re not built around ideas. Their purpose is something else. And you can feel it.

Ever since I was very young, I’ve imagined a place that connects people and their ideas. A place that gives them the space and tools to get started, bring their ideas to life, and change the world... or their neighborhood.

How Locus is structured:

- You can post an idea with a title and a description of up to 314 characters.

- You can choose a category and subcategory for your idea.

- When you post, you can enable the Join button. If someone clicks Join on your idea, they’re telling you they’d like to help you bring it to life and talk about it.

- You can also comment, like, and share.

- You can follow users and categories so relevant ideas appear in your feed.

- You can chat privately and in group chats.

We’re getting ready to launch and gathering our community on Discord, while beta testing Locus. For now, the platform is available on desktop only. If you’re curious and want to share your ideas, just message me or leave a comment.

I made a website to help dog owners figure out which foods are safe for their dogs 🐶

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

As dog owners, we sometimes wonder whether the food we're eating is safe to share with our furry friends. Can dogs eat strawberries? What about peanut butter, eggs, or everyday fruits and vegetables?

I wanted to make it easier to find answers to these questions, so I built What Can Dogs Eat? — a website dedicated to helping people learn more about foods dogs can and cannot eat.

🐾 The goal is simple: make food-related information easier for dog owners to find before they give something new to their pets.

If you're a dog parent, I'd love for you to check it out:

I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback! What foods do you most often wonder whether your dog can eat? And what features would make a website like this more useful to you?

Thanks, fellow dog lovers! ❤️

Gamified bubble finances and investing web tool / game

• Upvotes
A screenshot of the tool, default setup.

Hey everyone,

Lately I had the idea to turn a game like cookie clicker into a satisfying usable tool for your finances to see your net worth grow over time with growing bubbles. Now I want to know how people think about such a tool, if it is understandable and how much value it provides to users.

I wanted to combine the satisfying progression of an incremental game with something actually useful for personal finance.

I'm interested to know whether this kind of visualization makes financial information easier to understand and if people like it.

I'd love to hear what you think!

I spent weeks wrestling with manual SECR carbon reporting and built tool to automate it

Thumbnail
gallery
• Upvotes

I built Floe to help handle this reporting automatically. It is an early-stage tool designed to generate the needed SECR and GHG Protocol data without the manual nightmare. I build this for UK SMEs needing SECR and GHG Protocol carbon reporting to win and retain business, but since it is still early, I am looking for people to test it out. How are other small suppliers currently handling these carbon data requests when enterprise buyers demand them on tight deadlines?

I ran into SECR compliance headaches personally and saw UK SMEs losing business simply because they couldn't produce carbon reporting data fast enough. When enterprise clients ask for GHG Protocol metrics, smaller suppliers usually end up buried in manual spreadsheets or risking lost contracts.

EDIT:
Realised I'm meant to put the link: https://thefloe.co.uk

Free, local-first planner for Linux, Android, Windows and macOS. No subscription, no paywall

Thumbnail

I tried a lot of planners: Super Productivity, Vikunja, Planify, TickTick and a few more open source ones for Linux and Android. Some were really good. But none did what I wanted, and the ones that came close kept the useful parts behind a paywall. I wasn't going to pay a monthly fee just to plan my own day, so I built Personal Planner.

What I wanted was a planner that doesn't forget the past. Most planners are good at tomorrow. The moment you finish something it disappears. I wanted to keep the day, look back at it, and learn from it.

- Day: hour-by-hour timeline with timers, so planned time and actual time are side by side

- Review: daily, weekly and overview, with the real data next to what you write

- Consistency: year-long heatmap and streaks

- Experiments: try a new routine for a few weeks and let your tagged blocks track it

- Inbox: ideas that turn into scheduled work, with a Dropped list for ones you let go of

Why you might care:

- Free. No subscription, no locked features. Supabase and Cloudflare both have free tiers that are enough for personal use (limits can change, so check them)

- Local-first. Planning, timers, reviews and insights all work offline. Built to stay light on RAM and CPU

- Sync is optional. You can use it on one device and never touch Supabase. If you do sync, your data sits on your device and in your own Supabase project

- You can build it yourself with Flutter and run it without Supabase or Cloudflare. Only the client URL and publishable key go in the app. Management tokens, OAuth secrets and service-role keys stay out of the app and out of Git

Platforms: Linux (tarball), Android (APK), Windows and macOS (zip). The Windows and macOS builds are unsigned, and I couldn't test on a real Mac, so macOS has only been tested on GitHub Actions.

World Time Wall

• Upvotes

When you're working with people in different countries, keeping track of everyone's local time can become surprisingly frustrating.

I'm working on WorldTimeWall — https://www.worldtimewall.com — and I'm interested in making the experience of checking world time more useful and intuitive.

I'd love feedback from people who regularly deal with international time zones:

  • Which cities do you need to track every day?
  • Do you prefer a simple world clock or a more visual time-zone display?
  • What would make a world clock website useful enough to keep open in a browser tab?

I'm building this and genuinely interested in what people find useful. Honest feedback is welcome.

I built an app to manage tasks across multiple GitHub repos and AI agents (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) without drowning in pinned chats

• Upvotes

I built This60 (now live on iOS, Android, Mac, and the web) because I was running more projects with AI agents than I could keep track of at once, and a sidebar of pinned chats wasn't working.

Half of what I use AI for is writing code across separate GitHub repositories, where each repo has its own queue of tasks waiting for an agent. The other half is business and admin work outside the codebase, like updating pricing on a website or sending out an announcement once a build ships. Those two sides depend on each other: most of the time I have to ship the code before I can update the website, and sometimes I have to make a business decision before I can write the code.

At first I tried to manage this inside the chat apps by pinning important threads and renaming them. That stopped working as soon as the list grew past a few projects, and it broke completely whenever I worked across more than one model:

  • Stale labels: A chat's title reflects what I was doing the day I named it, not what the conversation turned into three days later.
  • No dependency visibility: A task that is blocked waiting on another piece of work looks identical to a task you can start right now. Every time I sat down, I had to click through pinned chats one by one just to see what was ready to move.
  • Model lock-in & rate limits: When your project plan lives inside one AI provider's chat history and you hit a usage cap mid-project, switching to another model means re-explaining the thread from scratch.

I built This60 to solve that and keep my projects independent of any single AI lab:

  • Code tasks live in git (.this60/main.md). Each code project stores its task list in a plain Markdown file right inside its GitHub repository. Non-code tasks live in the app itself. This60 pulls all of them into a single view on phone and desktop.
  • Hides everything you can't act on yet. Swipe tasks to a future date to keep them out of view until that day. Within a project, if Task B depends on Task A, This60 hides Task B until you mark Task A complete.
  • Offline mobile capture straight to the repo. When I think of a bug fix or next step away from my desk, I open This60 on my phone, type a sentence, and swipe it into the right project. It writes straight to .this60/main.md (and queues offline if I'm on a plane or underground).
  • Lab-independent handoff to Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT. Because the task and context live in the repo's Markdown file, you aren't locked into one lab. Launching a task opens the right repository in Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT with the prompt pre-filled from the task description, and saves the session link and task branch back onto the task.

An autonomous agent run takes roughly half an hour, and an uninterrupted block of my own time usually lasts about an hour. Instead of planning whole days, I use This60 to plan the next sixty minutes: which task to hand off to an agent for the next 30 minutes, and which task to work on myself while it runs.

I wrote up the full breakdown with screenshots and a workflow diagram on my Substack (links to the write-up and the app are in the first comment).

For anyone else running multiple repos with coding agents: how are you keeping track of which tasks are unblocked across projects, and how do you handle switching between Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT when you hit a usage cap?

I built EventDrop so guests can share photos without installing another app

• Upvotes

My own wedding was the reason I started EventDrop. I'm the developer.

The host makes an album and shares a QR code. Guests scan it and upload from their browser, without an app or guest account. The photos end up in one shared album instead of separate chats.

There's a free three-day demo for up to 20 guests. Paid plans are one payment per event and include video uploads, ZIP downloads and a live photo wall. You can also save the photos to your Dropbox. The album has an expiry date, so export a copy before it ends.

Website: https://eventdrop.at/

Built a tactile Muay Thai reflex game on baby duty using Whisper, Gemini & Claude Code

• Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I built Nak Muay during late-night shifts after putting my baby daughter to sleep (she’s almost a year old now). I train Muay Thai and always dreamed of shipping a fun mobile game around the sport.
Because I had to balance an infant on night duty with hands often tied up, the workflow relied entirely on voice and AI orchestration:
• Whisper: Dictated mechanics, architecture ideas, and design thoughts hands-free without needing a keyboard.
• Gemini: Brainstormed system architectures, troubleshooting, and prompt strategies.
• Claude Code: Wrote the codebase, refactored views, and handled automated test coverage.

A massive priority for me was the tactile feedback. I wanted haptics that feel crisp and punchy so that whether you’re killing 5 minutes in a doctor’s office waiting room or winding down from a stressful day, the impact feedback provides a genuine sense of physical relief.
I just shipped a new version, which completely unifies iOS and Android onto a shared global leaderboard powered by Talo.

Monetization is completely fair: free to play with minimal ads, plus a single $3.99 one-time purchase to permanently remove them (no energy meters, no pay-to-win, and no subscriptions!).

Links to try it out:
• iOS (App Store): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nak-muay-muay-thai-arcade/id6789376413
• Android (Google Play): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.latelesslabs.nakmuay
• Website: https://thenakmuay.com/

Would love to hear your feedback on the game and how the haptics feel in your hands! If you enjoy the loop and want to support a solo dad dev, the $3.99 ad-removal is there—appreciate the support either way!

[For Sale] uiprompt.app: 192 users, 5 paying customers, $0 spent on ads, $20/year to run

• Upvotes

I built uiprompt about six months ago and I'm selling it because I've moved on to other projects.

It's a visual canvas for planning UIs for AI coding agents. You lay out page sections, components, copy, design tokens and stack rules, then export it all as structured context for Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. It also works as an MCP connector, so Claude, ChatGPT and Codex can read and edit projects directly. People pay once for lifetime access.

The numbers:

  • $25 total revenue from 5 payments, no refunds
  • 192 users, all organic, I never ran an ad
  • Costs $20 a year for the domain, everything else runs on free tiers
  • Stack: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, MongoDB, Upstash Redis, Stripe, Tailwind, Resend, hosted on Vercel

What you get:

  • Domain
  • Full source code
  • MCP connector with OAuth, GitHub import, and Google, GitHub and magic link sign in, all built
  • Subscription billing and free trials already built, ready to switch on
  • Admin panel for users, payments, refunds, discount codes and emails
  • I'll help you move everything over

If you have any questions, DM me or leave a comment here, have a great day!

Another Personal Budgeting App ... Nope, This One Is Mine!

Post image
• Upvotes

If you are interested in testing a new "Budgeting And Personal Finances" app, then you can check it out here In The PlayStore. Still too poor to have an iOS version but that's for another time.

If anyone is interested, here's my story:

I'm a very conscious spender, I waste money still, but in a conscious way 😅. So my search for the perfect app to help me manage my bad financial habits began in 2022, and well … after a year or so, I found an app that I could use. It was super simple, didn't have any of the features I wanted but it was much better than the competition. Through multiple messages with the developer, and being a software engineer myself, I tried to give him a couple of ideas and even dev help if he wanted to.
Unlucky for me the guy wasn't interested in adding any more features … fair enough. Though I kept note of what I wanted to have if I had to develop my own app, a very detailed plan of what to have and how it should work, etc.

We come to the end of 2025, when I started to experiment with Agentic Coding.

I still don't like the idea of letting an agent think instead of me as I've seen a lot of my peers do it, but having it implement a plan that I've already written seems to work well. One of the days that I was doing clean up of my files, I found the plans for the budgeting app, and that's when it hit me, why wouldn't I try to develop this app using Agentic Coding? … And I kind of did.

Though the initial results were basically AI Slop, after manually passing over, adjusting the UI a bit and a lot of code cleanup, like really a lot, I finished version 1.0 which I was using for some time. It had all the features the other app had, but designed in a way that felt more logical, at least to me with the addition of goals that didn't exist in the other app and more interesting ways to manage them.

After having used it for 3 months, I started adding more features, and that's when I decided to share this app to the play store, get some feedback and maybe also some passive income, given I've blocked a couple of features behind a paywall. (shameless behavior 😅 but I need to recover from my bad spending habits somehow).

Joking aside, this was mainly made for personal use, so I'm not expecting anything. This Reddit post is a way for more to share it with more people, maybe they would actually get some use out of it, similar to how I found it to be the perfect app for my taste and how I use budgeting app.

After 100s of apps tested over the years, This one is what I'm using and what I'll be using in the future too. It may be just another budgeting app for some (I've seen a lot of vibe-coded ones when i was testing), but for me this one, is actually mine.

Copper, ash blonde and cherry red from one AI portrait, with prompts

Thumbnail
gallery
• Upvotes

Disclosure: I’m building Pixolm. This is a small reference-editing example made in it. The person is fictional and AI-generated.

Image order: original brown hair, copper, ash blonde, cherry red.

Each edit attached only the original portrait. None used the previous color result. Settings: Nano Banana 2.1, 1:1, 1K, Standard, one output per request, no mask. The downloaded originals are 1024 × 1024 PNGs.

What I noticed:

  • Copper gives a clear warm shift while keeping light and dark strands, but some lower waves get redrawn.
  • Ash blonde comes out as muted gray-beige with darker roots, rather than uniform platinum.
  • Cherry red is red-violet in the highlights and much darker in the shadows. Some flyaways change as well.

Here are the exact edit prompts:

Copper

Use the attached portrait as the single reference. Change only the scalp hair from chestnut brown to a natural medium copper color with restrained orange-red warmth. Keep the same shoulder length, center part, loose waves, hairline and visible strand structure as closely as possible. Preserve the face, expression, eye color, eyebrows, skin tone and texture, ivory shirt, warm-gray background, camera viewpoint, framing and direction of the soft neutral daylight. Do not tint the face, eyebrows, shirt or background. Keep believable darker roots and lighter strands where the existing light falls; do not flatten the hair into one solid color. One photorealistic square portrait, no makeup changes, no added accessories, no words or logos.

Ash blonde

Use the attached original chestnut-brown portrait as the single reference. Change only the scalp hair to a cool ash-blonde color: light beige-blonde lengths with a restrained gray undertone and believable slightly darker roots. Do not tint or brighten the face, eyebrows, shirt or background. Keep shadows and individual highlights rather than flattening the hair into one solid color. One photorealistic square portrait, no makeup changes, no added accessories, no words or logos.

Cherry red

Use the attached original chestnut-brown portrait as the single reference. Change only the scalp hair to a deep cherry-red burgundy color, with rich red-violet lengths and believable slightly darker roots. Keep individual highlights and shadows instead of a flat solid fill. One photorealistic square portrait, no makeup changes, no added accessories, no words or logos.

For a repeatable comparison, keep the original reference, change the color instruction, and compare at the same scale. I check the part, hairline, hair ends, eyebrows, face and any color spill onto the shirt or background.

This is one fictional subject and one result per color, without an identity score or a success-rate claim. It is a photo-editing preview, not a prediction of a real dye result. No extra correction attempts were run for these images.
