Underworld - Juanita / Kiteless (Live / Brussels, Belgium / 1999)
The drop on this version of Juanita just goes insanely hard. One of my favourite songs ever, this live version somehow elevates it!

And remember that Youtube (and some other sources) sometimes doesn't add the artist name when you click share, so you have to manually add the artist to the submission.

Really interesting video on the making of the soundtrack for Wipeout. So many heavy hitters on that CD

Per title, I’m looking for a good read on the history of house music. The bigger and more detailed the better but will take what I can get. Any recommendations?

I discovered this song and i really like it. But it looks very likely that this song is made using AI.
I would like to find more music like this, preferably produced without AI.
I have gone digging, but it mostly ends at jazz house. Maybe deep/lounge house, but still nothing like it. Feels maybe more like piano singer ballad with a house beat. Feels like a classy track from the type of piano used.
Another example is Luna Sera - Say Less. Probably AI as well.
Please give me some recommendations.

Doesn't have to be new, just the one you keep coming back to.
I'm mostly in afro, funky and latin house territory, so I'd love some picks from outside my bubble too. Drop the track and one line on why it works for you.

Hey househeads!
I’m a high school art teacher that likes to play music while students are working. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of requests for house music, and although I have a few playlists I cycle through (my personal collection tends to lean more techno), I’m in need of some new material!
Can anyone recommend some YouTube or SoundCloud sets that are age appropriate and school appropriate? (Meaning no moaning or sexy words on a loop, leaning in the more trendy side of house)
Any and all suggestions are appreciated :)

Every single DJ plays the same tracks these days, the amount of Zoolander -Beave or So Fly -Ruze I’ve heard recently is absurd! LP Rhythm is a criminal of this and it’s horrible because the lad has amazing tracks and a deep bag so I know he can pull out some bangers. Anybody can rinse the same 10 banging tracks and woo a crowd. Bring back the selectas!

Just lately I've heard a few dance songs which have that mid 2000s sound, Fancy footwork is one which reminds me of Calvin Harris 2006 etc and so good by camalphat/Josh Gigante. We've had that 90s sound now for over 10 years are we now coming back to the mid 2000s? Anyone else thinking this?

Doing a very laid back DJ set at a friend’s Halloween party tomorrow and looking for some fun / dancy spooky season tracks to toss in other than the typical like Monster Mash / Thriller / Ghostbusters etc
Main thing is that they’re upbeat / fun, not so much looking for super menacing techno or things like that.
Any recs appreciated!
