Hi All,
Posts/Comments will be moderated from today and if it's not adhering to the subreddit's rules, they will be removed. We've a good community here for one of the best TV shows and would like to keep it that way although it wasnt the case since this sub is created.
I've approved most of the posts/comments which were queued for approval since there were no subreddit rules to adhere to, however it will not be the case now.
If there are any suggestions, would love to hear them but it's upto us mods to decide
Have a good day!

Have seen a lot of posts in this sub asking about where a certain quote is from, so I thought I would make a website to help find them. Link to the website is in comments, it uses a vector database to find the quotes which lets it find similar results to what you're searching for, although it does end up missing some of the time. Was a pretty fun project to work on, and I'll probably add more features to it in the future if they're wanted

Kinda losing my mind. Nobody ever told me that House and Wilson will have this much romantic and sexual tension between them.
This isn't coming from dislike for other ships, I loved how compelling his failed relationship with Stacy is, and I think Cameron is so cute and relatable (House is like a cat that you just really wanna domesticate).
But Wilson and House? Those two.... Like holy fuck they're so fucking homoerotic.
Am on season 2 btw pls no spoilers.

first I KNOW THAT HOUSE ISNT MEDICALLY ACCURATE!!! it’s quite obvious that how house treats patients would make him lose his license in a day irl, but the actual diagnosis’ they come up with at the end of most episodes, are they medically sound? like the reasoning they couldn’t find it, or how it shows up in the patient. obviously the symptoms are sped up and dramatized for the show but are they correct even if they’re exaggerated?

I get that they needed someone for House to voice his thoughts to whilst Wilson was away, but he is so annoying and baseless. There is zero chance House would even have hired him, let alone kept him around.
And then Cuddy actually dating him and getting serious with him? He's a child! He has no depth of character. She wouldn't be with him.
They could have easily had him speak to someone else whilst he wasn't in contact with Wilson, but really, that's the best they could do? Write a better character or add that aspect to an existing one.
I do get that he's similar to Alvie. He's much better written.

just finished the show and I gotta say it was one of the best shows I’ve ever watched : the acting was good, the characters were relatable and lovable. I also loved the return of some characters amber (cutthroat bitch💀 this nickname is crazy) , cameron, kutner and stacie. you guys said that on the finale house will do the craziest thing he ever did and well one can argue that was indeed the craziest thing he ever did and in a sense I was sorta right. but is it me or they kinda gave us the impression that foreman knows what’s going on when he picked that badge up?

This was wilson telling cuddy in the mirror guy episode.

Something I keep noticing on rewatch: the more someone matters to House, the worse he gets at just asking them to stay. He reads Stacy's therapy notes, holds a patient hostage so Wilson won't quit, and straight-up sedates Wilson when he's dying.
I have my own theory and made a video about it, if anyone's curious.

So I don't exactly remember everything but I will tell what happened in the episode as how I remember it right now. The episode had like tens of parts all showed in Latin numbers. I remember the episode's name was something like "Everybody ... ... ...." I don't remember really... Anyway, the episode was about 2 drug dealer men who inject mercury or something like lifeblood (from Hollow Knight). And it severely effected the victims who went to House M.D. The victims showed symptoms such as shaking, feeling very weird, numbness and stuff. Weirdly, I was also in that episode and I kinda touched a white powder and my finger went numb. And those 2 dealers appeared in every part. I guess it was like 13 parts and thankfully every part was 8 or 10 minutes. I don't remember the rest.

I've watched House in its entirety over a dozen times since it aired, and even now, I'm JUST finding out about some interesting guest stars, like Dave Matthews or Meat Loaf (mostly because I don't know what a lot of musicians look like, and I always put it on in the background so I don't always pay attention to the credits lol). I feel like such an idiot, because I always thought this kinda looked like the dude from Fall Out Boy, and after 15 years, I only found out today that this actually WAS the dude from Fall Out Boy lmao. I always thought he just /looked/ like him but seemed too young, and I didn't recognize his speaking or singing voice in the episode. Established actors like James Earl Jones (I only watched Star Wars after I've watched House) or a pre-Avengers Jeremy Renner don't surprise me to have appeared in it cause well, they're actors, but musicians do, like Tyson Ritter (who, granted, played himself), and there may have been some I didn't know were musicians. Plus, I'm a 90s kid, and I'm not from the US, so I don't always know which actors are big.
So yeah, asking now in case there have been any more I've missed, who were the most interesting guest stars for you?

this is my first time watching House MD and I know a lot of spoilers BUT I DID NOT SEE THIS COMING. JUST WHY. how could they do Kutner so dirty like he solved a case in the episode just before with rat pee it was amazing and I felt so proud of Kutner like omg and the next one he's dead like I cannot fathom this.
I know that he got accepted in the white house for Obama BUT HOW COULD OBAMA DO THIS TO HIM. its all Obamas fault he ruined my week.
Crossing my fingers that Kutners death meant a lot he was so important and lovely and kind and when i saw Taub crying it just broke me. I need vengeance for Kutner.

On season 5 rn hated her from the second season onwards fck ethics and all that bruh it was such a great idea to sedate the introvert af guy and take him to the hospital for surgery then bring him back to his house and he will never know but her ethics i have been seeing this from s2 and it's just soooo annoying i have got spoilers so I know she breaks up with chase one of my most fav characters in the show

One thing I find interesting about House is that getting the diagnosis right doesn't necessarily mean he handled the case well.
He could save a patient while ignoring their wishes, manipulating people around him, or putting his team through hell to prove a theory. And because he was often right in the end, everyone had to deal with the uncomfortable question of whether the result justified the way he got there.
Which episode best shows that House being right doesn't automatically make him the good guy?

this is my first watch and I’m almost finishing the show 2 eps remaining. that nigga has done a lot of crazy things but I don’t remember some of them but where i’m at and one that vividly in my memory is when he hired a child actor to pretend to be wilson’s kid 💀
edit: how could forget when he drove into cuddy’s house💀
