What type of mirror should I put here?
galleryWhat type of mirror, size, color, style? This space is at the top of the stairs between the master and 3 other rooms. I'll shop at Wayfair for it.
THanks!

Hi guys, this is currently my Cafe on the right side. There is a container kitchen and The Blank space will be used to keep sitting area. I have already ordered some IKEA chairs, white colour, but I want some decor ideas. I am planning of plant like Bird of Paradise. So what do you think can be done to make this place look better as this is inside a Sports Arena. Just thought of asking humans instead of AI suggestions 😊

Bought a house a year ago this room we want to make into a nursery/children’s room. We loved the beautiful sky and sunset painting on the walls and ceiling. We would never get rid of it. We don’t have children, but plan for them in the future. As of right now it’s filled with boxes of mine and my husbands toys when we were kids(too much in my opinion that it doesn’t fit in our basement) and I’m tired of looking at it being so unfinished.
I want to stick with like ocean sailboat theme. As the previous owners left us the sailboat on the decorative ledge.
I just don’t know what to put in this room to make it unique

How do you feel about it? I really love the coastal style, but I live over 4 hours away from the seaside 🫠 Do you think it would look out of place, since you usually see this style in houses near the beach?

Actual bathroom pics first, inspiration pics at the end. I'm wanting to put navy board and batten around my small half bath. Pretty much the same color and height as the sink and just extend it around the room, with maybe a light colored wallpaper on top or just paint. My mom is convinced the room is to small or any kind of dark colors and it will look terrible and even smaller. If it is a bad idea what alternatives do you guys think.

Currently redecorating living room. Kind of regretting not getting a white curtain track? But does black look ok? I kind of like the architectural lines and the definition and compliments the dark elements in the room. Thoughts?

Hi Reddit. I dont post much, but i am super proud of my niece's new bedroom at my mother's house. We are a bit housepoor, so we have a big house, lots of antiques and little liquid cash, so a lot if her room is repurposed items from around the house, cheap walmart/Amazon bookshelves and desk, and a lot of thrifting/clearance/trash finds (curtains, bedding, knickknacks). Enjoy!
Some notes:
The nighstands were an antique vanity from the trahs in really bad shape. I cut the drawer segments off and sanded and hand painted the beachy frogs on top.
The crystal ball lamp base is from $5 clearance hobby lobby and i replaced the missing top with a boob light dome i painted and added fringe to from my sewing stash.
The internet zebra was thrifted and painted.
The metal ved was an old hospital ved from like 1920s that we had in the fam forever. I painted it copper.
I made the bohemian pillows stashed on the shelf and the blue flower pillow. The other throw pillows were from the thrift store.
The purple desk chair was thrifted for $20.
I painted the larger piece of art on the desk, bought the frog watercolor from an art fair and the bordello art is a print. More art is coming, but my niece wants to hang her own art too.

I came across a bunch of antique prints like this and decided to frame them! The first one is a 1908 reprint of Braun's 1530 map of Paris and the second is an advertising page from an 1880 edition of the St. Alban's Weekly Messenger. I could have matted them, but I wanted to show off their age and I think the frayed edges give a nice antique look. I think these would look good as decor pieces but I wanted to get some thoughts and feedback!

We're decorating our new home, and I bought two matching Hulala sofas because I liked the idea of a living room where people could sit and talk.
My husband saw them facing each other and said, "This looks less like ‘come over for a chat' and more like 'sit down, we need to talk.'" Now I can't unsee it lol. I sat down and felt like I owed him an explanation.
I still like the sofas individually. I just cannot explain why I decided we needed two identical ones staring each other down. It made sense in my head.
I'm leaning toward keeping just one, but there's nowhere else in the house for the other. what should I do?

Since my room was built, one of the walls has had persistent paint flakes and peeling issues, and after trying multiple fixes without success, I’ve decided the best option left is to cover it up while giving the space a cool, aesthetic upgrade. The damaged section measures 68×72 inches, so I’m looking for creative ideas or suggestions from you guys on what to put over it—whether that's tapestries, slat wood wall paneling, a large gallery wall, peel-and-stick wallpaper, or any other stylish setup that would look great and completely mask the problem area.

To the left is the kitchen and behind is the dining area. Directly behind the camera is the living room. This small space is too small for a breakfast nook (also no need given dinging table is right there anyways). It does serve well to store high chair, but would be nice to do something more intentional with this space. Maybe slim wine fridge under countertop overhang?
I would be willing to cut countertop to remove that strange overhang, but don’t want to redo kitchen or any major renovations
