That’s why I’m absolutely terrified. I am very worried and my next period will probably be on November 7th.

Is there any realistic possibility of pregnancy from either incident? Could precum pass through wet underwear?

25f. Last week, a few days before my period was due, I started experiencing discomfort. This quickly turned very painful. Basic things such as peeing, showering, walking etc have me in agony. At first I thought it was a UTI, then I suspected thrush, but after trying treatment for both and having no relief, I finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctor.

The doctor gave me aciclovir to take 5x a day for the next 4 days. I’m in excruciating pain and I’m terrified that this will now be my life, and that every period will now be followed by these agonising outbreaks. I’m only on day 2 of the aciclovir and have been regularly taking ibuprofen, but there’s been no relief from the pain.

I dealt with these AWFUL UTI symptoms for over a year on and off—burning, itching, pain, feeling like I had to pee but couldn’t, waking up in the night in agony. Sometimes lasting one day once in a month or month and a half, sometimes multiple days a week. It continued to worsen.

Last November I had a Colposcopy where they had a close look at my cervix. The day after that I was in excruciating pain and ended up with feeling like I had a UTI and heaviness in my pelvis. I was on 2 different rounds of antibiotics but nothing helped and I ended up with battling thrush due to the antibiotics. Was on Fluconazole for 6 months.

The heaviness, aches and pain in my pelvis is still here. I have had STI checks and all negative - which I knew they would be. I swear I got this from some bacteria during the colposcopy.

However, since I'm coming back negative on STI checks no one is listening to me when I say I think it's pelvic inflammatory disease.

Hi!! I’m (F26) a long time lurker and have been meaning to make a post for a while now. Essentially, I’ve been experiencing the same problem for about a year and I’m reaching out to see if anyone has an experience similar to mine.

It’s important that I start out by saying I have been sexually active with one person and that was over 4 years ago.
A year and a half ago, I noticed a painful lesion near my clit, and when I went to the doctor she visually diagnosed me with herpes. I had no grouping of blisters, I had no other symptoms of herpes, just this one lesion. I didn’t know any better at the time so I didn’t push for a swab or blood test, and I really wish that I had.

That being said, a (sometimes) bump and (sometimes) lesion pops up in the same exact spot near my clit every now and then. I’ve gone to three gynecologists (one who I see consistently) and they have all swabbed me for HSV - it comes back negative every time. My Pap smear results were normal, all of my sti tests came back negative, and there were no other infections present.

Most recently, I noticed an open lesion last week in the morning. It was painful, and I immediately went to get it swabbed. They prescribed me Valtrex just to be careful and it was gone the next day, but I got the results back and it was negative for HSV 1 and 2.

This isn’t a consistent issue, it comes and goes and comes and goes. No one seems to know what the problem is and every doctor I’ve seen just says to “keep an eye on it.” I plan to eventually see some sort of specialist or dermatologist, but in the meantime I wanted to see if anyone out there has experienced anything remotely similar. It isn’t life altering, but it absolutely drives me crazy and I hate not knowing what’s going on with my body. Help!!

hi, i’m 22 and this past year has truly been hell bc of yeast infections. i started dating my current bf back in january and they simply do not stop: we can wear a condom, wash our hands right before and after, i avoid underwear when unnecessary, i only wash with water, i don’t have a horrible diet, i drink plenty of water every day, im not a particularly stressed or anxious person,and still almost EVERY. SINGLE. TIME after i have sex i get yeast. i cant remember the last time i went 2 weeks feeling normal down there, i have had 10 infections so far this year and its not even over, i have one rn. i always cure them with 2% clotrimazole vaginal cream but it’s EXPENSIVE and sometimes i just can’t pay it (i obviously don’t have intercourse when i have them) when im on the cream they go away, but as soon as i have sex again everything goes to hell once more. i tried probiotics, coconut oil, eating literally zero carbs and sugar, NOTHING.

Worth saying : healthcare in my country SUCKS i can’t just get a gyno appointment tomorrow and get free meds, it just doesn’t work like that here.

How long does it take for BV and yeast swab results to come back. Went to urgent care yesterday at 1 pm and results were published at 7 pm. They don’t have an in house lab btw. Of course all negative.

I have been in the ER for hours, they have tired Valium, morphine, and dilaudid, and it still makes me scream like an animal when the needle barely punctures my inner labia. They cannot get anywhere, the pain is unbearable.
