Other Aloha, got ispired tonight and whiped up a piece of software that lets you type an ʻokina by double clicking the apostrophe key.
Figured I'd share my most recent insomnia project. Since there is no ʻokina on a typical keyboard, I thought I'd try to add a way to type one. Since the apostrophe is the most common replacement for the ʻOkina I thought that double-clicking it should type the actual, real ʻokina. The result is a .exe file that runs a program in the background, which allows a double tap on the apostrophe key to be translated into an ʻOkina in any text field.
Here is the link to a Google Drive folder containing the zip file if interested: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1mGBD1tFM7CChEfDifLgxeQ-_alMTddxT
