DMV Vehicle Ownership Transfer Turnaround Time via Mail?

I recently purchased a car from FB Marketplace on 09/12 and mailed the necessary documents to the address listed on honolulu.gov on 09/14. It’s currently 10/19 and I haven’t received my documents back. Due to being time-constrained, mail was my best option, and I understand that it may take a while. I was wondering if anyone may have recent insight on the turnaround time via mail? Mahalo!

I’m on O’ahu for reference.

Other Aloha, got ispired tonight and whiped up a piece of software that lets you type an ʻokina by double clicking the apostrophe key.

Figured I'd share my most recent insomnia project. Since there is no ʻokina on a typical keyboard, I thought I'd try to add a way to type one. Since the apostrophe is the most common replacement for the ʻOkina I thought that double-clicking it should type the actual, real ʻokina. The result is a .exe file that runs a program in the background, which allows a double tap on the apostrophe key to be translated into an ʻOkina in any text field.

Here is the link to a Google Drive folder containing the zip file if interested: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1mGBD1tFM7CChEfDifLgxeQ-_alMTddxT

Question Does anyone else really miss Chinatown?

• Upvotes

Yes it's still there but more than any other neighborhood it seems vastly different than it ever was. There's more chic coffee shops, bars, and bougie restaurants, but it's not the *real* Chinatown: the markets, the fish stalls, the dim sum shops. More and more of those are gone now. What are some of your memories of Chinatown from small kid time? What shops, sights, restaurants do you miss the most?

Other Robbery and assault in Makiki

“The boy says four kids were involved. They physically assaulted him and broke his phone and his headphones. A girl outside was also hit.”

The coffee shop helps the boy by letting him inside, until the police arrived.

Blurry face because they are minors. Just hard to watch it unfold and feel bad for the victim- hope he gets justice!
