Photos Halifax Central Library [Nikon F2 / Nikkor 28mm F2.8 AI-S / Kodak Portra 400]
November 2024
I visited Halifax to attend to a work matter (I live in Ottawa) and I stayed two extra days to check out the city. I do a lot of film photography; I had emailed the library in advance to ask if I could use a tripod inside, but you need $1M in liability insurance to do this. I braced myself against one of the railings for this shot and I am quite pleased with how it worked out. The interior design of the library is stunning, what a beautiful piece of architecture in a beautiful city!
