I know the Cook Out official account hangs around this subreddit, so I’m hoping he can settle something for me.
If a customer pulls up and says, “I want a Cajun chicken sandwich, made Cheddar Style,” what exactly should they expect to receive?
My understanding is that I’m ordering a Cajun-seasoned chicken breast with the Cheddar Style toppings: cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and mayo. No lettuce, tomato, or Texas Pete.
And that’s exactly what I get most of the time! But occasionally, they make it Cajun Style instead, and I have to explain that it’s not what I ordered and ask them to remake it.
Today, I even had an employee trying to explain to me what comes on a Cajun Style sandwich when I was specifically asking for Cheddar Style.
So here’s my question: Am I ordering this correctly, or is there a better way to communicate it so there’s no confusion?
Cook Out guy, if you’re reading this, I need an official ruling. 😂
