Aspiring triathlete moving to the area soon. I am looking for help on recommendations for spots to complete my sessions.

Specifically, what pools are around and have reliable lap swim hours (especially through the winter)? It seems there’s not a ton of options around, correct me if I’m wrong.

What roads are generally okay to bike on? Specific locations would be great. I’m alright with driving a little ways if needed; I’ve heard Fayetteville isn’t very bike friendly.

Lastly, any run routes I should put on the radar? I’m cool with paved, gravel, or trails.

I have base access as well if that is helpful as well. That would be especially convenient to be close to work.

Please don’t recommend Rover or an in home sitter. He doesn’t do well with people in his space. We usually use Blessed Oasis Pet Resort for boarding but since the last time we boarded a couple years ago, they have gone up to $79/night for the room type we do. What are your favorite recommendations in the Fayetteville area? I don’t like the cage like enclosures and prefer the room type. He’s an 80lb DalX. 8 years old on Christmas. He also prefers and gets along with small dogs. He does NOT get along with dogs medium size or bigger due to being attacked by a pit twice, so I need somewhere that would be willing to let him play with the smaller dogs. He’s VERY gentle with them!
