So basically rn I'm working at a Grade 6 in Maths at but I feel like I could definitely get a 7/8 if I actually put more effort in because I give up very easily when it comes to the subject. I Also do further maths but I haven't ever had a proper mock for it so I have no idea what grade I'm working at. Anyways point is I really dislike maths but I still want to take Maths and Physics A level because I want to do engineering. When I really think about its really stupid because why would I want to study engineering when it's like 90% maths.
The a levels I've been thinking about picking some combination of are maths, physics, engineering, further maths and philosophy.
If I pick Maths, Physics, Further maths it'll probably be the best combo for Uni but it'll also make me miserable. The combo that I'd probably be happiest with is physics, engineering, philosophy because I'll get to do something essay based (which I enjoy) and I also get to do a subject with coursework which I find wayyy less stressful than my entire grade relying on a test at the end of year 13 but at same I think it's too random to really get me anywhere.
Obviously I'm still in year 11 some I've got a while to think about it but its be nice to get some input from anyone who does any of the subjects I've mentioned
(Also excuse my horrible grammar and punctuation)
