So meleys was actually injuring sunpyre badly .sunpyre stood no chance against meleys . If aemond and vhagar had not attacked aegon and sunpyre midway through their fight with meleys . When I am sure meleys would have killed sunpyre and aegon would have died when sunpyre body crashes into the ground . With aegon actually dead aemond could have become king . Dearon and tesserion would not stand a chance against aemond cause he has vhagar . But vhagar attack left aegon and sunpyre badly burned up but both of them managed to survive ..
