Discussion GEO isn't a secret technical hack or a keyword-stuffing trick.

It’s an information ecology problem.

Your goal isn't to "trick" LLMs into liking you. Your goal is to make your brand easy to understand, easy to verify, and impossible to confuse.

Discussion We thought Meta was broken but then changed everything

We were stuck spending around $10k/day and couldn’t scale profitably. We’re now spending roughly $90k/day while staying profitable on new customer acquisition.

For a long time, we thought creative was the biggest lever. For us, the bigger unlock was building a stronger offer stack.

Creative still matters, but changing what we were selling—and how we packaged the value—made the difference.

Here’s what our account looks like:

  • AOV: $70–$120
  • CAC: $35–$50
  • Active ads: Around 120
  • Traffic: Ads go directly to product pages or the homepage
  • Targeting: Wide open
  • Creative: Static images make up 95%+ of the account and are our main drivers

On the campaign side, we’re running 19+ campaigns using CBO, generally with 1–2 ad sets and 1–4 ads per ad set.

We also still have our core CBO with 10+ ad sets and 3–5 ads per ad set.

The biggest takeaway for us: we spent too much time assuming the next creative would solve our scaling problem. Building a better offer gave those creatives something stronger to sell.

Have questions, more than happy to share my experience of 15+ years. Not an agency. we're a DTC brand.

Help Stolen money from a card on Meta platforms — has anyone managed to get it back?

I was a victim of a Meta account hack. Basically, someone gained access to my account despite all security measures and two-factor authentication being enabled, and even though the account was verified.
They stole a significant amount of money (around €1,000) and used it to fund my Meta Business account (directly from a card that was added to the account — the card itself wasn't compromised). The money is still sitting there and hasn't been spent because the system detected the attack and immediately restricted the account.
So far, contacting support hasn't gotten me anywhere, as it's almost impossible to reach a real person through live support. It's been around 7–8 days since the incident, and there hasn't been any progress.
Meta AI sometimes says that the refund is in progress, while at other times it says that a refund hasn't even been initiated, so I'm not sure what to believe.
I also contacted Raiffeisen Bank via email to file a complaint, but they haven't responded either, even after a full week.
Has anyone had a similar experience, and were you able to get your money back?

Help AYUDA!! "You can't make this change at the moment"

Tengo este problema en todas mis cuentas de Meta (Facebook, Instagram). No puedo ingresar a mis cuentas debido que me pide la verificación 2FA. El problema es que Meta no considera ninguno de mis equipos como confiables y marca "This is because we noticed you are using a device you don't usually use and we need to keep your account safe. We'll allow you to make this change after you've used this device for a while.".

He intentado solicitar ayuda desde otra cuenta con Meta One (Verified) y los técnicos me redirigen a un correo de seguridad de Facebook el cual no responde. ¡NECESITO AYUDA! Tengo varios días con este problema.

Discussion Is Meta broken? Pulled aggregate data across our ecommerce brands. Short answer: no, but Ads Manager might make it look that way

Seeing a lot of “is something wrong with Meta?” threads lately, so I pulled numbers across all the ecommerce brands we work with. Disclosure: I work at an attribution platform, so this is click-based attribution tied to store orders, not Ads Manager. Not linking anything, just sharing what we’re seeing.

Short term, there was a real dip. Last 30 days vs the 30 before: CPMs up 8%, conversion rate down 8%, CAC up 6%. Then it flipped. Last 14 days vs the 14 before that, CAC is down 19% and conversion rate is up 11%. The worst stretch looked like late September into the first few days of October.

Year over year, it’s actually better than last October:

  • CPM: up 11 to 14% (normal for Q4)
  • CTR: up 29 to 33%
  • Conversion rate: up 25 to 87% depending on the window
  • CAC: down 33 to 54%

One major caveat: nCAC improved a lot less than overall CAC (roughly flat on the 30-day view), so a good chunk of the gain is returning customers.

Here’s what I think explains a lot of these threads. Over the same windows, revenue reported inside Ads Manager is down 35 to 55% YoY, even though click-attributed results got better. If you’re only looking at Ads Manager, I get why it feels like something broke.

I also broke it down by creative format, since creative fatigue comes up in every one of these threads. It doesn’t look like fatigue. Video hook rates are up 4 to 16% YoY, CPC is down 13 to 16%, and brands are running 14 to 22% more ads.

The late September dip was mostly video, and it wasn’t cost per purchase. Last 30 days vs the prior 30, video CPA only rose 6% and video purchases were up 10%, but video revenue fell 44%. Same purchases, much smaller orders. That looks more like offer and AOV changes heading into Q4 than Meta breaking. Video has recovered over the last two weeks, with CPA down 32%.

One thing I didn’t expect: carousels have the lowest CPA of any format, and the best ROAS over the last 14 and 30 days. They’re also getting the smallest share of spend, about 4%, and that share is down roughly 20% from last year. Small sample and probably some retargeting bias, but if you’ve dropped carousels, it might be worth testing them again.

Curious if anyone else saw the same late September dip and recovery, or if it’s still rough on your accounts.

Help Ad fatigue

Once we get ad fatigue and our CPR start getting expensive.

What should we do for it to go cheaper again?

Do I need to stop my ad and start a new creative ad?

Or just let it run and observe?

Also could it be because I've a small budget per day? Around 10dollar a day

I focus on clicks only

Im still new to meta ad but still learning

Thanks

Resource I scaled a peptide brand to $23.5k a month and Meta still has not banned me

So tbh when a client reached out to me for scaling his brand for peptides i thought his account would be gone in 2 days but here we are not banned few of the ads rejected but we replaced them with the new ones and also to mention that i didnt worked in this type of niche before so the formula i have tried is actually just staying away from medical claims and focusing on the lifestyle also meta crawlers are really aggressive with the scripts as well so u dont have to mention healing or relative words twice or they will ban ur acc and also if you mention recovery or anti aging too much the bots will get you.I stopped using the word peptide in the primary text and just used it in the image. It sounds crazy but it works. I am curious its just me or has anyone else seen this happen or am I just getting lucky right now.

Help Is the Andromeda method still the way to go?

Well, black friday discounts appraoch, and last year I was using the Andromeda methos of creating one Adset and throwing as many creatives as I could there, letting Meta decide where to spend it on.

I could not say if that has been working for me lately because the platform in general gets worse, and the global economy also gets worse, so I'm unsure if this is no longer useful or lower sales are just because of the algorithm being bad / the economy.

Is "cram as many creatives into one ad set" still the best route?

Discussion meta’s been weird for 3 weeks. clicks fine, checkouts fine, purchases dead 💀 anyone else?

ok so something's off with meta right now and i can't figure it out

last ~3 weeks conversion rates are down 30-40% for a bunch of stores i talk to

and here's the weird part. everything before the purchase looks totally fine:

- cpms fine
- ctr fine
- atc fine
- checkouts initiated fine

then purchases just... fall off a cliff

people get all the way to checkout and bail

not one niche either. hearing the same from b2b and lead gen guys

so i've got two theories:

  1. meta pushed some backend change and as usual told nobody
  2. people are actually tapping out, and even meta can't find buyers anymore

honestly #2 is the one that freaks me out

i think i am just gonna go back to my adeagle at this point

meta's whole thing was always finding the guy with the buying intent. bad economy, didn't matter, it found him

if that's slipping, that's not a bug you just wait out

could be both tbh

what do you guys think?

Discussion I hope to see Meta go bankrupt

Meta DDoS Small Business's websites. Over the past months, my campaigns have been flooded with bot clicks that show zero real human engagement—just instant bounce rates, sub-second page views, and phantom abandoned checkouts with no scrolling or product browsing. Click-fraud bots and aggressive automated crawlers are slipping through, draining daily ad budgets to make profit for Meta while completely polluting the pixel data so the algorithm just optimizes for more junk traffic TO MAKE MORE PROFIT FOR META. If you lucky that day, you triple sales, ROAS going to Moon and then a month of MAKE PROFIT FOR META cycle. It is getting to the point where running profitable ads for your own business (NOT FOR META) so hard and META just dont give a fck again, again and again... Not even talking about october, its a disaster for all.

Help Ads stuck in “preparing” status

Anyone else have trouble with their new campaigns being stuck in “preparing” status? I’ll launch a campaign, it’ll be in preparing, and then turn active. It’ll spend like $3-$5 dollars, and then back into preparing.

Audience size isn’t small, there’s no issue with billing, and no weird budget caps. Other campaigns seem to be running fine. It’s not a new account either.

I’m at a loss!

Help this close to losing my mind (leadgen)

• Upvotes

long story short: i advertise for a luxury real estate office. we do leadgen.

i've been doing this since november 2025 and i was even able to sell a house from the leads. i used normal interest and location based form ads for several months, gathered data and a steady CRM, started focusing on conversion signals and lookalikes and IT WAS GOING SO GOOD AND STEADY.

right now, on my forms i put 3 multiple choice and 1 SHORT REPLY QUESTION because i've been getting only "misclick" forms and I STILL HAVE THEM.

MY FORM LITERALLY HAS QUESTIONS FOR PEOPLE TO ANSWER AND THEY'RE STILL UNINTENDED. i don't know what to do at this point. none of my signals seem working. months and months of data gathering and feeding meta all went down the drain since September.

does anyone, ANYONE has any idea or worked something around or switched campaign types or platforms? i feel like going insane

Help Has anyone actually managed to reach a real person at Meta for business verification?

Hey everyone,

I've been trying to get my UK-registered LTD verified on Meta so we can use the Facebook and Instagram APIs for our app.

Our first verification request sat in review for almost 14 days before getting rejected. I resubmitted the documents that same day, and now the second request is still pending.

The frustrating part is that I can't find any way to speak to an actual human at Meta. I've tried Meta Business Support, Meta for Developers, and their AI assistant. Everything just leads to help articles, broken links, or endless loops.

I'm even considering paying for Meta Verified on my personal account just to get access to live support, but I'm not sure they'd even help with a business verification issue.

Has anyone here dealt with something similar and actually managed to get verified?

Is there any working way to open a support ticket or reach the business verification team?

I'd really appreciate hearing how you got it sorted.

Thanks!

Help How do lower my CPM's

I have been trying start a successful dropshipping store. I am getting better and better with each launch but what I noticed on almost every launch is that my ad metrics would be reasonably good, I mean my ctr is almost always above 5%, but my cpc is around 3$ and my cpm is unreasonably high, always well above 100$ most often around 150. What ends up happening is that my ads are good but Meta is still driving me very expensive traffic, so my cpc stays high when it shouldn't be. And my niche is competitive, but cpm over 100 is still unreasonable.

In ad set level I do advantage plus, my audience is relatively broad, also my targeting is USA, women 45-65 years old and I optimise for purchase. And yes this is a competitive market but cpm should still vary from 30-60$, not 100.

Claude ai keeps telling me that it might have to do something with my ad account because almost all launches in that ad account had CPM around $100 and $200. Can there be truth to this?

Also for each new launch for a new product, if I don't get any sales, I change the pixel. Each new launch has a new pixel. Maybe having a new pixel slows down the learning every time and maybe that causes my CPM to rise

Or is it just normal for new brands to have high CPMs at the start and gradually decrease over time?

Help Solo online guitar teacher: leads are cheap but nobody responds. Spent ~$2.3K on Meta ads across India, US, UK, CA, AU and the Gulf. Where am I going wrong?

I teach guitar online (1-on-1) and run all my own marketing. I've spent roughly $2.3K on Meta lead ads over a few months and I keep hitting the same wall: I get leads at a normal cost, but almost none of them respond. Hoping someone here can spot what I'm missing.

**What I offer**

- Live 1-on-1 guitar lessons

- Software that supports learning: fretboard trainer, daily and weekly drills, a progress tracker

- A leaderboard that rewards student progress

**The goal**

Free demo lesson first, then convert to a paying student. The ad promotes the free demo, not paid sessions.

**Setup (UK test, ~$40/day total across campaigns)**

*Campaign*

- Objective: Leads

- Advantage+ leads campaign setup, with Advantage+ audience OFF

- Daily budget, highest volume bidding

*Ad set*

- Placements: Instagram only (I restricted it to keep the audience size down)

- Location: UK (London, Manchester and Birmingham in one test, country-wide in another)

- Age 25-54 (24-40 in an earlier test)

- Interests: Guitar (instruments) AND Electric guitar (Engaged Shoppers in some versions)

- Language: English (UK)

- Estimated audience about 2.2-2.5M

*Ad*

- Carousel: video first card (guitar close-up), then image cards

- CTA: "Sign up"

- Copy angles tried: playful, aspirational, social proof, premium 1-on-1. No price in the ad.

*Lead form*

- Native Instant Form, "Higher intent" type, 4+ questions (email, name, phone number, level, whether they own a guitar)

*Follow-up*

- My Instagram account is verified. As soon as someone submits, I message them on Instagram and also email. Response time is 10-30 minutes.

**What I've tried and what happened**

- **India:** tons of form fills at very low cost per lead (hundreds of leads), but the conversion rate was awful. The leads mostly couldn't afford paid lessons. I tried neighbourhood-level targeting in Mumbai and Bangalore, plus household income targeting. It didn't help. I also tried a Sales/Initiate Checkout campaign, which didn't convert either.

- **US, UK, Canada, Australia:** far fewer leads, and the ones I got didn't reply. In one blended test, 11 leads and zero conversions.

- **UAE and the Gulf:** about 70 leads, and almost none responded or booked a demo. Most were Indian expats

Discussion Anyone else seeing suspicious Facebook Ads traffic? Identical 4-11 second sessions with zero engagement

We’ve been running an e-commerce business for several years, investing significant amounts in Meta advertising. For a long time, our campaigns delivered stable and predictable results.
However, since the beginning of October 2026, we’ve experienced a dramatic drop in sales that we still haven’t been able to fully explain.

Previously, our store consistently generated 20–40 orders per day. Then, almost overnight, our campaign performance collapsed.
We started investigating the quality of traffic coming from Facebook Ads, including reviewing actual visitor session recordings.

What we’ve discovered is genuinely concerning.
Many sessions originating from Meta Ads follow almost identical patterns:
A visitor lands on our website, and the page loads normally.
For approximately 4–11 seconds, absolutely nothing happens.
The session ends without a single click, scroll, or interaction.
In other recordings, the page loads, scrolls down slightly (almost exactly the same distance every time), and the visitor immediately leaves.
Some sessions involve clicking one or two product images, scrolling down a little, and then leaving the website.

The most concerning part is how repetitive these behaviors are.
We’re not talking about a few isolated incidents. We’re seeing numerous recordings where visitors behave in almost exactly the same way.
At times, it looks more like automated website visits than genuine potential customers browsing an online store.
Importantly, all the sessions described above are attributed to paid Facebook advertising.

What we’ve already investigated
We’ve thoroughly reviewed our Meta Pixel and Conversions API setup.
From a technical perspective, everything appears to be functioning correctly:
Purchase Event Match Quality: 8.7/10
Purchase event deduplication: 99.37%
Browser Event ID coverage: 100%
Server Event ID coverage: 100%
AddToCart deduplication: 99.44%
Meta reports that our setup meets best practices.
We’ve also implemented restrictions to block suspicious traffic from certain countries.
Despite these measures, the problem continues.

What concerns us most is how suddenly everything changed
We’re not a new store experimenting with Facebook advertising for the first time.
We have several years of sales history, substantial historical data, and a good understanding of how our customers typically behave.
That’s why it’s difficult to believe that such a dramatic change in traffic quality and sales performance is simply a coincidence.
Of course, we’re not suggesting that every short session is a bot. We understand that people accidentally click ads, leave websites immediately, or simply aren’t interested in a product.
However, the sheer number of similar sessions, their almost identical behavior, and the sudden collapse in sales raise serious concerns about the quality of traffic Meta is delivering.
What’s even more frustrating is that these campaigns target European markets where we’ve been successfully selling our products for years.

We don’t want to jump to conclusions or accuse Meta of generating artificial traffic without solid evidence.
However, as an advertiser investing substantial amounts of money into this platform, we believe these observations deserve more attention.

We’re paying to reach potential customers, not for repetitive 10-second website visits showing absolutely no signs of genuine interest.
For now, we’re continuing our investigation to determine whether these patterns are caused by accidental clicks, low-quality traffic, automated activity, or other factors.
I’m sharing this because I believe traffic quality on Meta Ads deserves much more scrutiny, especially from established e-commerce businesses that depend heavily on this platform for their sales.
