Hello! I've been trying to make a mix in FL studio, but the way the tracks respond to tempo changes is really frustrating. I set the tracks to not change tempo at all, and I try to just slice off the end of the song that I want to mix into the next song and have only that piece respond to the project tempo. However, when the tempo starts speeding up in response to the automation clip all previous tracks also start stretching no matter what settings I try to put them at. I don't think the tracks are actually changing tempo if I have them set to ignore project tempo, but visually it still looks like they're stretching and this makes it really hard to keep things lined up. Sometimes in playback in the program it even sounds like it transitions well but when I export the track theres gaps or the tracks just don't align anymore. Is there a setting I can select to stop it from doing this? Or is this just a known issue with FL studio?

Edit: I am remembering to set the segment I slice for the transition as a unique sample.

Is there an individual Channel Rack for every pattern? For example, if I use the first pattern for my piano, is there a Channel Rack dedicated only to that pattern, and a separate one for drums in the second pattern?

I thought every pattern had its own Channel Rack, so for my second pattern, I deleted all the instruments I used in the first pattern.

I’ve created a 15 second loop (well Gemini has) that I use as a background image layer and add my logo over the top as another image layer.
The problem is that it’s not customisable. I can link the alpha/saturation etc to a peak controller but I’d really like to remake the effect within the plugin so I can make the bars pulse and change the speed and density.

I've been working on an album as of recently and I've been branching out into more very niche indie rock bands and I find their sound reaalllyyyy cool. I'm used to making boring polished music so now that I'm trying to make more strange and unique music its quite difficult. I try playing around with making some instruments mono just for the fun of it and it does add quite a bit!

I've also been seriously listening to some bill wurtz and i noticed that a lot of the sounds they use have some foley aspect to it (something about every transient is soooooo satisfying) and I have absolutely no idea how to do something like that

Another thing I considered is paying for and using Zenology because I have only used FL Studio's stock vst's for my entire two years of music-making which believe it or not has seemed to suffice until this point in time.

When I mix at home, choosing reference tracks is where I get stuck. I’m never sure a song really fits what I’m making, so I end up guessing or asking around.

For people who mix their own music:

1. How do you pick references right now?
2. How long does it take you?
3. When did a reference mislead you, and what happened?
4. What do you use to help (plugins, playlists, forums)?

I’m a student thinking about building something small around this. I’m not selling anything. I just want to hear how people actually do it.

Show images is enabled in browser settings. I tried googling it, it suggested a few different things like making sure the images folder is hidden & the image files are named corresponding to the folder it’s meant to show for. It said maybe try turning off “show unknown files” wasn’t it. Said to check GUI scaling, wasn’t it.

It suggested I maybe didn’t extract the files correctly so I tested it with one, that wasn’t it. And these are sample packs where I know the images show on other people’s computers. I am on the latest update too.

What could it be? I know this is a trivial thing for actually making music but I’m making a sample pack that I would like to add browser images for. Just wondering why they won’t show up on my FL.

Hey all, I've been learning plugin development for my university thesis and built a stem splitter I wanted for my own workflow. It's free, so I figured I'd share it here to see if anyone is interested in also using a stem splitter for vocal mix training or sampling.

It's fully free, uses no large language models so no AI is trained on your data or anything you upload into it, runs fully locally so running it doesn't require any internet.

I had it split stems into either 4 or 6 stems: vocals, drums, bass, melody, and if you need anything a bit more specific you can do guitar and piano. Quick warning, since this is locally ran, the speed of the extraction will be based a bit off your PC performance, but for quick samples and loops it does finish quite quick (if you upload longer tracks you can also split specific loops inside).

I also added some bpm detection and manipulation, as well as key manipulation so you can pitch up or down and speed up or down.

Hi, I'm looking for a MacBook for music production. I usually use six instances of Serum 2 or Zenology, and some plugins like Shaperbox 3 and Portal, which are native to FL Studio. I'm torn between a Pro M1 with 32GB or 16GB of RAM and an Air M5 with 16GB of RAM. I currently have a desktop PC with a Ryzen 7 8700g and 32GB of RAM, and it works perfectly, but I need portability. It looks like they've stopped releasing content, and their old packs seem to be unavailable everywhere. I haven't been able to find a place where I can still get them.

Hey, I create music using FL but I don't play or own a guitar. So in place, I just use guitar plugins but it doesn't really replicate that personality of the instrument sound. I'm kinda stuck and am looking to connect with someone to play some notes. Someone happy to lend a helping hand in the final results or bounce ideas off each other or just talk about music. Anybody skilled in recording and playing electric or acoustic guitar and using pedals.

And my version doesn't sound quite the same, I think it is because of the usage of the Warp beats mode. Can I make this Warp beats mode effect in FL? Is there a plugin or something for that?

Hi everyone, I've been struggling with this issue for months and I'm running out of ideas.I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen and a Rode NT1 Signature Series in FL Studio. Phantom power (48V) is enabled, and I've tried adjusting my gain settings and using different vocal chains.However, whenever I record vocals, the recorded waveform is extremely quiet, almost flat. If I increase the volume or normalize the recording, my voice starts sounding metallic and unnatural.What's really confusing is that a friend of mine has the exact same microphone and audio interface. His recordings sound clear and loud, even when using the same vocal chain as me.I've tried different settings and plugins, but nothing seems to fix the problem.Could this be related to my audio interface settings, microphone connection, Windows audio configuration, or something in FL Studio?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
