The top 3 have opened up a bit of a gap, but that is partly because they haven’t played each other yet.  Once they do, at least one of them will be dropping points in each game.  Chelsea and Man City are both looking strong but London City Lionesses have done really well to keep up with them.  Who would have predicted LCL would be 9 points clear of Arsenal after the first six games?!  Injuries may become a problem for LCL – they play with a great intensity but the players' bodies suffer a lot of punishment as a result.  Can London City Lionesses compete head-to-head with the top 2?  Will the winning mentality and WSL experience of Chelsea and City give them the edge, or will their form in the WSL start to drop slightly as they get deeper into the UWCL?

I’m getting worried about Spurs after losing 6-2 to Chelsea following that heavy defeat to London City. The attack can still create problems, but there’s no point scoring if the defence keeps letting in so many goals. Sorting out the defence has to be the priority now, because the team can't keep giving themselves such a difficult job every week. They can turn things around quickly.
