Meme Moyes has to go.

Seriously. We had a disaster problem in the summer. We only had beto and Barry as attackers. The board made thongs easy with a fantastic window that took away that headache and took beto out of the equation.

Its only mid October and already he has got a loss on the board. We are currently 7th. When will people wake up. The league is on our grasp. Moyes is holding us back from greatness.

Transfer | Rumour Everton ready to make January transfer move with two targets named

sports.yahoo.com
25 Upvotes

According to TeamTalk, the Merseyside club have narrowed focus to two striker targets, Esteban Lepaul and Dion Beljo, as they look to strengthen in January.

Esteban Lepaul emerges as leading Everton option
Of the names under discussion, Lepaul appears to hold significant appeal. TeamTalk's reporting says Everton have "emerged as leading contenders to sign Rennes striker Esteban Lepaul", with the 26-year-old building an excellent record in France. Since joining Rennes in summer 2025, he has scored 24 goals in 42 appearances, with "four goals in six league games this season" further strengthening his profile.

There is wider interest in the Frenchman. Leeds United and Aston Villa are said to have checked on him, while Brentford and Brighton have also watched developments. Yet the key line is that "it's the Toffees whose interest is the strongest." That suggests meaningful groundwork may already be under way behind the scenes.

Dion Beljo remains firmly on radar
Lepaul is not the only option being examined. TeamTalk also reported that "Dinamo Zagreb striker Dion Beljo is another player on Everton's radar." Beljo, 24, offers a different physical profile at 6ft 5in and arrives with strong numbers of his own, having scored 12 goals in his last 14 matches, including 10 in seven league games.

Team Talk Norgaard

I think he was given a poor pass by George, so i dont exactly blame him for the goal at all, but its no secret he has the pace of a snail. Are we sure he can work in a non-possession / non-footballing based team? Brentford and arsenal they had all the ball, he will not have that luxury here, anyone else thinking about stylistically him maybe not fitting? Im not writing him off at all, but id like to see more of him to see if he can properly sit and perform.

Match Stats Branthwaite has blocked more shots than anyone in the Premier League this season

Post image
63 Upvotes

Was putting together some data on Premier League's metrics so far this season, and the top shot-blockers data come out interesting to share here!

Branthwaite is first with 11, two more than anyone else. Tarkowski is second in the league for interceptions too (16), behind only Brentford's Janelt.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether that partnership is the best it's been, or if its sheer level of attacks Everton has been facing so far?

(Data source: The Prism, a football scouting and analytics tool I'm currently building. Looking for testers, so feel free to sign up to the waitlist if you are interested in this type of data!)

Team Talk Maitland Niles

Am I the only one who thinks he looks out of position?

I think he should be more upfield, his assists and goals have been good but his defence is woeful. Think there is merit in converting him into a midfielder or think it’s just him settling into our defence?

Everton and The lack of collectively scoring goals

What is going on why are we not spitting the responsibility to score goals

It's becoming a joke

I get it's a strikers job to score

But we need to have the others scoring as well

How many times are we just going to do the same bloody thing.

Stop relying on one player and JUST SCORE COLLECTIVELY AS A TEAM!

Oh well sometimes a reality check is needed

p.s the slow passing and the late movement is officially pissing me off

Does anyone know if the PL cleared 777 to buy Everton?

Or did it never get that far, they tried and were told the conditions but eventually were beaten by Friedkin?

Discussion Does David Moyes still have your support?

Yes he’s got a thin squad, but lineups and substitutions have been awful in the last few games. Any momentum that George and Dibling had gathered has now been lost with them being left out of the team.

I can’t help but look forward to life after Moyes. It isn’t worth paying ticket money for his football anymore. The game has moved on but he hasn’t. It’s time we started looking for a better man to lead this club.

Score Predictions Prediction Thread | Game Week 7 | Everton vs Chelsea

Chelsea drew with Hull 2-2 a month ago and had a big game back from the break comfortably beating the cherries. They are yet to hold a clean sheet in the PL this season.

Make sure your predictions are in before the first whistle or they won't count.

Rules are:

-Post your predictions here. Must be a top level comment. Replies to other comments won't be automatically counted

-Will only take predictions before the scheduled game start

-Please type your prediction as home-away e.g a home win could look like 3-0. An away win could look like 1-2. Everton does not default to the first score in your prediction

Scoring will go like this:

-If you get the scores and the result exactly right you get 3 points (perfect prediction)

-If you get the result right (eg you predict a 1-0 win for Everton but we end up winning 7-1) but the score isn't correct, you get 1 point (correct result)

-If the score and result are wrong you get 0 points

Good luck and UTFT!

Help Ticket resale

I’m trying to put tickets for the Newcastle game on resale as I can’t go anymore, but when I try to resell them it tells me I don’t have any tickets to manage? I have tickets for Saturday as well and even they aren’t showing up.
I’ve not got a season ticket is that why I can’t put them on resale?

Match Stats Each Premier League side's expected goals conceded from counterattacks this season, plus shots conceded from them

Post image
54 Upvotes

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7689567/2026/10/15/expected-table-counter-attacks-analysis/

Everton’s struggles are relatively new, having ranked 15th in each of the previous two seasons for xG conceded from fast breaks.

Manager David Moyes’ team are pressing with greater intensity than in seven of the previous eight seasons, averaging 4.2 high turnovers per match (only behind their rate of 4.3 in 2023-24). But their defensive line has typically stayed deeper, drawing a league-low four offsides. That opens up gaps and opponents have feasted when Everton have lost the ball.
