...is that they use it to only, singularly, EXCLUSIVELY refer to SSJ4 being part of Goku's figthing arsenal going forward because it looks cool (and the same to a lesser extent with Ultra Vegeta 1)
We're going on 2 years since Daima released and basically nobody hyperbolically speaking I know there's always people for everything talks about the Daima canon in regards of seeing Glorio/Panzy/Arinsu/Kuu again and meet our heroes after all the stuff they've gone since.
The only things other than the new forms that get some discussion are KibitoShin's unfusing (mainly from people who want the Super potara retcon to be eliminated to "unruin" Vegito) and Rymus's existance in a cosmological sense.
But OP; they've said that they haven't recorded new voicework for Beerus, How would they even make any Daima cameos/references?
How about literally any easter egg in the background since they are remaking shots. I can think of multiple examples they could do:
- Bulma having a piece of Majilite at Capsule Corp laying around.
- Goku having some of the magic bugs at his house (Yes, I know he dropped the bag but he was at the store again in the post-credits scene)
- Goku's Daima Gi laying neatly forded somewhere in his room.
- The Power Pole being used again as Roshi's laundry pole.
- Sir Warp being far in the background of any scene where characters fly through space.
- Same as above but with Planet Batapi which they used to locate Sir Warp
- Mr. Popo showing his horns for one scene because...idk it gets hot wearing that turban all the time.
- We already know they're not doing this one but redesigning the staff of Bulma's cruiser to look like ones from Trunks's bday in Daima.
I could probably think of more examples but you get the point by now. Instead people only complain that they didn't spend extra time from their already divided team (Obligatory reminder that the Moro Galactic Patrol Saga *IS* literally being worked on as we speak) to draw a form that essentially turn's Goku into a completely different character designwise, complete with unorthodox body propotions and unique key poses (in a scenario where they already have to (re)animate SSJ3 btw) just for a Director's cut version of a scene it doesn't have much of a place being in only so it can...get crushed and get it's first on-screen loss I guess?
Obviously Toei will never bother doing what I proposed but I do believe it's partially because they know that people won't even campaign for something like it to begin with.
Anyway rant over, see you for next ep. Imagine if Vegeta thought of his couple moments with Bulma after Beerus slaps her and one of them was that time she threatened to cut their baths together off LOL.
