How does this make any sense? I can't talk about an in game ABILITY?

I really want a no hesitations I can swap between physic/burning ambition and Attrition orbs/incandescent, but as far as I'm aware, its not actually possible to get a pale heart weapon to drop with multiple perks. the focusing at ghost and the Micah quests only seem to give un-tiered versions, and non-focus versions also only drop un-tiered?? please don't tell me I have to craft 4 different versions of the same weapon

so i was going thru my collection and found i have a HON and yet ive never even entered the dungeon, ive been playing since beyond light and stopped a little after final shape, so i remember when it all came out, but i never ran the dungeon. is there any alternative way i may have earned it?

It says "events" on Light.gg and online I found something saying it's from iron banner, but I don't see it anywhere at Saladin. I know it's a niche, but it's the only arc, precision Frame, reconstruction, chain reaction rocket launcher and I want it.

im on step 10/11 and when i go to input the correct codes at the very beginning, some of them dont show up. is this because other fireteam members arent on the same step/completed the quest?

Minor rant but recently ive been doing alot of lfg raids and i can count on one head ( head not hand) the number of times we didnt try to cheese a encounter. Listen if your post says speed run then im assuming your gonna cheese thats not what im talking about. I'm talking about chill runs being full of 1 plate kali or 2 man concecrated mind. Is doing the encounter the way its ment to be so difficult you HAVE to resort to cheesing? Idk maybe im out of touch with the current meta but my fondest memories of this game is those tight encounter clears not this blink and its over way of playing the game. Idk what are yalls thoughts on this?

I’m asking because I’m not sure what the barrier of entry is for a new player who plays hard games like Path of Exile and plays FPS games but never hopped into something like Destiny.

Is it as simple as walking them through the campaigns we have available then start grinding afterwards or do I have them hop right into something like the portal and give them a run down on these like weapon rolls and god rolls and what to keep until you get something better, etc.

They all have five different skins; I want them all, does anybody know if the different colours have different drop rates or if it’s all the same? And if it is, has anybody calculated/knowledge of the holofoil drop rates?

OCD and ADHD are extremely unhelpful in Destiny at the best of times and FOMO used to be a nightmare, but this is the worst.

Hey new Guardian here, I've been replaying the intro a lot cause I like the flow of it and I'm still getting used to things, I do this a lot in games. I've started several new characters over the past few days, trying the different classes and what not.

Point is, I deleted that first character I had and am realizing despite that certain quests are still marked as completed. Specifically Maeve's stash at Shaw's camp. Am I not longer able to access that item? Kinda lame if so but I've heard this game has tons of lame decisions but they haven't hurt my desire to get into the game quite like this one has.

I played the game way back when; stopped right after Shadowkeep and the Season of the Undying. Now I'm trying to get back into the game and play with my partner but the complete lack of narrative is so jarring.

So much just randomly exists without the narrative cutscenes or missions to give new players the context behind them.

Like Cayde suddenly becoming Crow... Or how Saint-14 is suddenly around even though the timeline missions clearly refer to him as being dead... Or how Drifter and Ada-1 randomly appear without their introductions; so in story missions they don't exist and then suddenly they do after the story missions...

There were cutscenes and missions that made the narrative connective tissues from before to after during past seasons but now there's nothing. It really makes it difficult to get invested in the story and return to the game (for me) or even start the game fresh (for my partner).

Sure; there are cutscenes on YouTube; but there's a stark contrast of becoming engrossed in the story by playing it yourself vs watching cutscenes online.

I got the "Fist of Fury" Finisher today when playing with my warlock. But when I try to equip it on my titan it says "can only hold one at a time" although I haven't even equipped it yet. It works perfectly on my warlock and my hunter, but for some reason the game doesn't allow me to use it with my titan. Storing all my current finishers, going back to the character selection screen and even restarting the game does nothing. Did anyone else encounter this bug? Or does someone know a trick to make it work?

Only recently ventured into trying raids with LFG and almost every team has 3 or 4 people using fortunes favor. What is it about it that makes it so popular here?

So, we know the Dread are not an unintelligent species, and they longed for a meaning. Is it possible that we could have worked with Kerrev to try and free The Dread from the frankly awful fate The Witness was ready to leave them to. I really like the Dread, and I feel bad for them. I suppose in the story we couldn't know of Kerrev's noble goals, but if we did figure out, would the Vanguard permit like, rehabilitation efforts and perhaps even an alliance?

Ive been seeing a lot of stasis titan builds (howl melee) going around and wanted to make one for myself. As far as the exotic weapon, I’m aware that fighting lion and icebreaker work great. Has anyone used any other exotic weapons that have worked even better, or any that yall prefer over the two I mentioned? Just wanna know my options for this build. Thanks!

Is there a way to get the Fafnir catalyst right now and is there a way to access any seasonal quests I missed? Haven’t played since the Final Shape

Is the GoA armor set a good armor set for general pve build crafting or is it more for specific builds? I want to farm the dungeon this week mostly for pvp weapons but have seen the armor recommended for a lot of stasis and arc builds.

After not touching the Lawless Frontier in a very long time (last time I did the activity was bout 3 or so months after Renegades Launch) I'm back to doing it again, chasing after some PvE and PvP god rolls of certain guns. As well as chasing tier 5 armor

Only problem is; everytime i complete a run of the Lawless Frontier I end up usually getting tier 4 armor with maybe on a rare occasion one or two pieces being tier 5. I know that S+ Rank is guaranteed to give you tier 5 armor (least, I believe that to be correct) but every run I've done these past few days has usually ended up just being in the S rank. A few hundred points shy from being in the S+ ranking at the end.

Which, begs the question; how can I get S+ rank? Im doing all the side objectives everytime I do a run and still end up only getting S rank, its quite frustrating.

For additional context; my Guardian Rank is 7 if that matters. I also have the upgrade from Spider that increases the tier of all gear by 1. I am allied with The Totality Division and have them max rank.

Been meaning to get into destiny for years now but haven't had the time until now. However, little unsure if it still has players or not.

Mainly the idea that rather than the entirety of “early game” being focused on killing rotating spawns of ads, essentially jungle-ing, waves of ally and enemy ads would spawn and fighting would be centered around pushing your ally ads forward. Obviously it would’ve been a major rework and might not’ve even fit the game at all. Again, I’m talking time travel hypotheticals here.
