Gen Z Dating is HELL

I have to ask my fellow Gen Z peeps, what the hell are we doing? I have had a string of so many women match with me and within the first five minutes ask if I wanted to sext. Are we that horny as a generation that we cant even get to know each other first before asking for some sort of sexual favor? Am I alone in this?

Ghosted and blocked after first meet

So I met a girl last week on a dating app and we kinda skipped over introductions and talked as if we knew each other for months already (my preference I hate introductory talking stage) and it was going so well. We shared so much in common that it was genuinely insane how connected we were on things, her friends even joked that we'd be married in 6 months lol. We planned out a day to meet after her very busy week and she was down to drive over to me 2 hours away! We both have never met someone online and met up so it was first for both of us.

So yesterday comes and she gets here... We go down to my local park and we walk for a little and sit down to just look at the lake and talk, and even go back to some of that general intro blah blah that neither of us cared about in the end anyway. She takes my arm to walk with her but the entire time she is too shy to look at me and she even said as so, and me myself I am big into eye contact that's just where I gravitate.

We go back to my place after my horrible directional skills and forgetting what we're doing.

So... This is where I think it turns around: I have a futon that we were gonna sit and lay on and it's in front of a wall window or floor-ceiling window. Now I do not care for weight I am very open to preferences and physical traits are rarely a negative to me, I only see positives. She happened to be a bigger girl which as I said I don't mind or perhaps even like when I'm actually attracted to someone. She sat down on it and the futon almost flips over sending her through my window, I had to counteract it with my body to stop it. We laugh it off but I know she was genuinely scared and I guess embarrassed but we continued. Watched Freddy Vs. Jason and cuddled a bit too. We kissed about 4 times with her initiating the first.

Now the movies almost off and she said that she wanted to watch me play some games now instead so we sat up and she starts texting on the phone. I didn't even get to the main menu of the game before she said that her friend texted and said that their friend had had a seizure, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to go but i reassured it that it was fine and obviously her friend she's known for years is priority and such. She gives me a few more kisses and hugs and she asked me to walk her out to her car, where then she asks for more asa goodbye.

About 2 hours later I ask how is her friend doing and she's giving vague, short answers like one word, but even another text saying she had a good time still, and after a few back and forth she sends "coma" and so you know I'm like sorry, and trying to give her space but also wanting to make sure she's okay and details and she said "yeah" when I asked if she'll call me when she can.

Night goes on no call, no texts, anything of the sort. I get a message this morning "I don't feel like talking rn" and she blocks me on every platform except her phone number because my messages have been delivered and are still blue? This is where I'm currently at and I'm just not sure what to think myself... Would this girl really make up that kind of excuse to leave, and if so why? Why not just be honest? Is her friend actually in a coma and she just doesn't want to deal with anything? Let me know reddit because I'm genuinely so confused by the entire ordeal and has soured my opinion of meeting someone online again. Sorry if this is all over the place, I'm not a pro at formatting or anything lol.

provoking jealousy on purpose

• Upvotes

i’m quite curious to know if this is a common experience, or generally what people think about it.

\**what do you think about intentionally doing things to make the person you are pursuing jealous?****

is it always bad, do you think there’s exceptions, have you encountered anything similar (on either end), etc.?

here’s some context to my situation if you’d like, but this is supplementary reading lol. for ease of understanding, i will refer to the person who was attempting to provoke my jealousy as person A.

i was in a relationship with person B (first ever relationship, together for 3 months lol) when the stuff with person A started. she knew a lot of my relationship drama and that things were kinda rocky with B, and started flirting with me very intensely after our first 1-1 hangout. i know this is bad but i stayed with person B for almost a month afterwards while stuff with A progressively escalated. nothing physical happened but it was very emotionally cheaty. my friends would see both of their texts on my phone and be like “oh look its your bf and gf”.

anyway, i break up with B and A is all over me, comforting me, making plans, etc. the flirting also takes an uptick. i’m flirting back but not nearly as much or as explicitly as she is. from my POV, i didn’t know if i actually liked her or whether i just liked that she gave me attention at a time when i was already very vulnerable. we had gotten really close even as friends, and i didnt want to hurt her by making her into a rebound so i just wanted to take it slow and figure out my feelings. (yes, i probably should have communicated that to her instead of going “hehe, aw you” when she’d outright tell me to my face that she fancied me, albeit in a jokey/banterous way.)

then, within less than 2 weeks, she’s also talking about person C. in almost identical language that she uses when talking about me/to me. i mean i even see glimpses of it in person between them. its worth mentioning that C and i have been very close friends for several years, far longer than A has known either of us, but C and I have had a pretty massive blowup a few weeks ago - one that A explicitly encouraged - so at this point we aren’t really talking to each other much.

it really does all snowball from there but its not important. what i wanna know is whether you guys think A’s behaviour is acceptable in this context, and just generally, is it okay to try to make someone jealous on purpose?? no judgement either way, genuinely, i just want to hear your thoughts.

i was very angry and hurt about it at the time, but now i do wonder if my lack of transparency had a bigger impact on her than i realised. not saying that makes this behaviour okay or not okay, but its just something to consider i suppose.

let me know your thoughts, please, i would really appreciate it!!

He spent the whole date complaining about his ex, then asked for a second date

I (27M) matched with her on Hinge. Her profile seemed calm and low-drama, so I was looking forward to our coffee meetup.

Within the first ten minutes, she started talking about her ex. At first I listened politely. I get it, breakups are messy. But it never stopped. She went on about how he treated her badly, how he wasted her time, every fight they ever had.

I tried to shift the conversation. I asked about her hobbies, her job, places she wants to travel. Every single time, she circled back to her ex. She barely asked anything about me. I sat there sipping my cold latte, feeling like a free therapist.

When our drinks were almost gone, she smiled and said she had a nice time and wanted to do this again. I froze. I didn’t think she noticed how uncomfortable I was. How can someone dump that much baggage on a first date and still expect another one?

I made a soft excuse and left. I didn’t ghost her, but I told her later I didn’t think we were a fit. Dating is already exhausting. I don’t want to sign up to process someone else’s old relationship on date one.

Has anyone else run into this? People who rant nonstop about exes and act like it’s normal?

This is what my mom told Abt my ex...

Basically,it was an online story,I'm an average girl soo i always wanted to date a guy who was below than me soo i picked up a guy who was below avarage ×2 ,soo we started dating, he was very insecure Abt his looks , underconfident, he doesn't have any male or female frnds he was all alone , he used to talk with some small grp of frnds but they never used to prioritise him .. they never cared Abt him at frst his looks was never prblm for me , and he used to to tell me that he is rich , and his father in politics and all but I never

Asked his money , he barely bought a dress for me which costed around 2k ,.. one day he asked me to meet him then I went to some cafe that was the frst time I met him real .. then I saw him I was just got shocked he was freaking ugly mynnnnn I'm not talking Abt his face or something but the way he presented himself.. his hair ,dressing, I got chapri vibes and probably he coloured his hair colour in blue that made me evn more disgusting,

I just want to run from there, while he was talking his mouth filled with bad smell , he didn't evn brushed properly and his nails ewwwwee.. that day was horrible for me , is this the guy I said I love you.. then I said some Reason and ran out from there, after that day I told him breakup... Then he started blackmailing me that he will tell to my mom if I don't love him again , i requested.. but he told my mom .. i told everything what happened with him .. after that my mom scolded me and asked me to show his photo "my mom was likee how can u evn stand beside himmm .. he is looking like a colour lizard itself "

From that day I m scared, that if he ever tells anyone that we were dated , that was the more insulting thing in my life ... Hello was never good at looks , character, or dressing, or anything, i still feel how I loved that guy ..

How do I stop overthinking my boyfriend’s past?

My boyfriend is older than me and is currently at university, while I’m still in college. He treats me well, loves me, respects me, and says he’s loyal to me and wants to marry me.

The problem is that he used to be a playboy during his teenage years. He was involved with multiple girls, and those relationships were mostly casual or just for timepass. On the other hand, I’ve only had one relationship before him, and I was genuinely serious about that person. Things didn’t work out, and now I’m serious about my current boyfriend.

We’ve accepted each other’s pasts, and he says he has changed and is loyal to me. I have no major complaints about how he treats me now, but sometimes his past bothers me, and I start overthinking even though I know it happened before me.

How do I stop worrying about his past and focus on the person he is today? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Guy I'm seeing suddenly changed his texting habits after I confronted him, and his response sounds AI-generated

Guys I genuinely don't know what to think anymore 😭😭

I've been seeing this guy for a little over a month, and we've been on 5 dates.

At first, his texting was pretty consistent, but gradually he started taking hours or longer to reply. I also noticed he became more active on Instagram during times when we used to text.

I eventually brought it up in person, and he was really understanding. He immediately started replying almost instantly afterward.

BUT one day I was genuinely busy and took 4–5 hours to respond, and he went straight back to his old texting habits 💀

Recently, I confronted him about feeling like he'd become more distant. I told him that consistent communication matters to me in a serious relationship and that I didn't want to force him to change if this was simply his natural communication style. I even suggested that maybe we'd be better off seeing other people if we weren't compatible.

He ended up sending me two long, perfectly structured essays about our communication issues.

He apologized and admitted that he tends to mirror the other person's texting frequency because he assumes that's how they prefer to communicate.

He also said he sometimes thought I was losing interest because of my slower replies.

Here's the part that really caught my attention.

He said:

"I know some people feel like good morning texts or daily check ins can be a little too much early on in dating so I think I was just being too cautious in that regard."

He said he could start doing those things more frequently and consistently.

And literally the next morning, he texted me good morning and asked how I was feeling 😭

I know I literally asked for more check-ins, but now I can't help wondering whether he's doing it because he genuinely wants to or just because I told him to.

ALSO HIS RESPONSES SOUND SO AI-GENERATED 😭😭

Like I'm talking perfectly structured paragraphs, apologies, reassurance, acknowledging every single point I made, and repeatedly agreeing with my perspective.

Idk if he used ChatGPT to write everything or just polish his own thoughts, but the wording and tone feel SO AI-coded.

And there's something else that's been bothering me about his dating history.

He told me he's shy and didn't really date in college. He mentioned one previous relationship that lasted 5 months and ended about 3 months before we met.

Apparently things started well, but toward the end, his ex stopped wanting to meet up with him.

But he's also made comments like:

"Usually when I date, I don't tell my parents."

And now he's talking about how some people don't like good morning texts or daily check-ins early on.

Maybe I'm reading too much into the wording, but it makes me wonder how much dating experience he's actually had. He's only told me about that one relationship, although I haven't directly asked how many people he's dated.

The exclusivity conversation was also weird to me.

I told him I hadn't mentioned him to my parents because I only do that when things become serious.

Immediately afterward, he asked, "What do you think about exclusivity?"

I said I'd be okay with it, but he never directly asked me to be exclusive, and we never actually established that we were.

So part of me wonders whether he genuinely wanted it or if he only brought it up because of what I'd said.

I also spoke to a friend who has a PhD in psychology, and he suspects the guy could still be talking to other women, although there's no concrete proof.

My biggest concern is that I can't tell whether this guy is being genuine or just adapting himself to whatever I want.

I don't want someone who simply mirrors my effort, agrees with everything, and changes his behaviour whenever I bring up a concern.

I want someone who knows what he wants and independently chooses to put effort into a relationship.

So what do you guys think?

Does this sound like genuine effort or someone just telling me what I want to hear? Would you be bothered if someone potentially used AI to respond to a serious relationship conversation?

And am I reading too much into his comments about past dating experiences?

Would you continue seeing him or walk away? 😭

I want revenge on a guy that ghosted me after our first date

I know this might sound dramatic, but I genuinely need some outside perspectives because I’m so angry right now.

I met this guy on TikTok (I KNOW), and somehow, I ended up falling for him. I’ve never been on a date before, let alone been in a relationship, so agreeing to meet him was a pretty big deal for me.

Looking back, I probably should’ve been more cautious. He had been ignoring me or giving me dry replies for about four days before we called, and during that call, he asked me out. It felt like a pretty rushed decision, but I agreed because I liked him and wanted to give it a chance.

Fast-forward to the actual date. He didn’t really plan anything, so I ended up choosing the movie myself. We got drinks at a popular café beforehand, and while we were waiting for around 30 minutes, he was mostly on his phone. It was awkward neither less .

But once we got into the movie, things seemed to get better. We cuddled and kissed, and honestly, I thought it was going well. Afterward, we went to the arcade, played some games, and walked around the mall together. There were still some awkward moments, but overall, I left feeling like it had been a good first date.

I even bought him some Pokémon cards because I felt bad that I hadn’t paid for anything. I jokingly used losing to him at the arcade as an excuse to buy them for him. I know it might sound silly, but I genuinely wanted to do something nice for him.

When he got home, he texted me to thank me for the fun date and even called me afterward. So naturally, I thought we were on good terms. Then he ghosted me with no explanation or conversation. And honestly, I’m furious.

It’s not that I think he owes me a relationship just because we went on a date or kissed. If he wasn’t interested, that’s completely fine. I would’ve accepted it. What hurts is that he knew this was my FIRST DATE EVER. He knew I was inexperienced, and after everything that happened, he just disappeared without giving me the slightest explanation.

I feel stupid for getting my hopes up, and angry that I was left wondering what went wrong. Part of me genuinely wants revenge. I want him to regret treating me this way, and I hate that he gets to walk away like nothing happened while I’m left feeling like this.

I know revenge probably won’t solve anything, but right now, I’m struggling to let go of how unfair it feels.

So, is it bad wanting revenge on a guy who ghosted me after our first date? Am I overreacting, or is it understandable that I’m this upset? And if you’ve been through something similar, how did you deal with it?

Am I out of touch?

I started talking to a guy about a week ago. I’m 42F, he is 32M. Got on well enough chatting. He had told me he was on spectrum for autism so sometimes gets nervous and didn’t want to rush into anything but did want to date. We said we would meet and would think about when soon but last night he was silent all night apart from one txt about 11ish saying I am with a friend.

I wouldn’t text someone loads with a friend but I would have checked in more than that one short message so I said you can just say if you’re on a date. I approach dating talking to one person at a time but I know a lot of people tend to talk to a few and maybe go on a first date with a couple at a time and that’s fine. He came back to me tonight and said well I’m not sure what it was last night but I’ve had drinks with her a few times and last night she came to mine for the first time, we didn’t do anything but it was nice to hang.

My txt last night had been suggesting days to meet and he said after that text telling me about the girl he had seen a few times plus last night (so I’m guessing about 4 times), that it would be really great to meet. I responded that I had suggested the days to meet before I knew he had been on 3 or 4 dates with someone already and that he must be planning to see her again. He confirmed he was but that he doesn’t count himself as seeing her and it takes him a long time to see if he has chemistry with someone and wants to be exclusive. If I’d been on 4 dates with someone I’d think things were going well and wouldn’t have thought the person was still seeing others so am surprised he was looking to see me.

I said we should probs just leave meeting as it seems crazy to meet someone already 4 dates in with someone else who is at stage of being comfortable alone at his house. He thinks I’m being silly. Am I wrong to not want to meet now given he is 4 dates in already with someone? I can get his autism might make it harder to figure out how he feels but I already feel like I’d be on the back foot with him already him having had 4 good dates with someone else. Plus I want to date and although not looking to rush, if dates kept going well I’d want to define things and although 4 dates is still early days it would feel like things were heading that way and I don’t know when this guy would define things… but maybe I don’t appreciate how dating really is…u

F21 ended things with M26 after 10 weeks because I found out he was still close with his ex. What do we think?

I'm F21, and I moved to a new city 5 months ago for a work placement. I met M26 when I gave him my number at the restaurant where he works. He lives across the street from me, and we started meeting on August 6th. For about 10 weeks we spent a lot of time together: cuddling, deep conversations, sleeping together, and he made plans for things we'd do. He was never mean to me and showed up on my bad days. He called me pretty, said I was interesting to talk to, and said he'd never "pampered" anyone this much. We agreed that we acted like a couple.

About a month in, I saw a text where he told a girl "I love you." It was his ex. When I confronted him, he said it didn't mean much on his side and that she was just an ex.
About a month after that, she called while we were lying in bed, and he showed me the call. That night he told me he had unfinished work back in his home country that he needed her for. I said I didn't need a commitment, but I did need him to stop being in conversation with her. He said that was totally fair. We continued for another week.
Then, while he was asleep in my bed, I went through his phone. I know that's an invasion of privacy, and I'm not proud of it, but I didn't trust him anymore. What I saw was:

Hour-long calls with her, and a few "I love yous"

I also found out he had told her about me. She asked him if I was prettier than her, and he told her no, that she was the prettiest girl in the world. So she knew about me the whole time, while I had only been told she was "just an ex." When I first confronted him, he did mention he'd told her she could date other people too, so it may have been a loose, long-distance arrangement. But he never described it to me that way, and he agreed to cut contact and didn't.

Some sexual conversation

Her messages sounding very anxious and distressed, and complaining that he hasn't visited her for her last 3 birthdays

A shared Instagram account

I ended it on October 18th on a walk. I told him it wasn't fair that he was with me without telling me the whole story. He just said "that's fair" and that he respected whatever I decided. He seemed sad, but he never explained or corrected anything. That's the pattern I noticed: he agrees with whatever I say but never gives me his side.

I don't know if he was a calculated liar or just conflicted and avoidant. I only wanted honesty, and I never got it. I'm 21 and my first time in a relationship like this, and I'm alone in this city, so he was most of my social life.
It’s been 2 days, I'm angry, but I also miss him a lot, especially at night and in the mornings. I keep wondering if I overreacted.

Have you ever just “not felt it” for someone you were dating? Why?

I seem to repeatedly be the girl that men don’t feel it for even though they have a lot of attraction to me and also find me to be a really nice and “lovely girl”. I just dont understand why I fail every time to make men see me in a romantic way even though they do romantic things with me. so why have you not ”felt it” for someone that you were actively dating even though every thing on paper was there for them to be a good and fun partner to you?

Should I tell my boyfriend that I use Reddit?

My boyfriend doesn't know I use Reddit, and I haven't told him because I know he'll ask why I use it and what I do here. I use it to share my thoughts, ask for advice, and read about other people's experiences.

I'm not doing anything wrong, but I feel like he'll question me about it. Should I tell him or keep it private? Do you think partners need to share everything with each other

Fun with Texting

***TL;DR: My ex, who stalked me after our breakup and had a protection order against him, recently started contacting me again through anonymous numbers. His opening move was to insult my intelligence, so I responded with an elaborately worded insult and a fake subscription service for professional sass. When he tried to call me a dumbass, I introduced him to Dumbass Daily™, featuring five stories about questionable life choices, he made IRL. Weird. I don't know why he never responded to the text service. Nine days later, his response was, “I forgive you.” 😂😂😂***

About a year ago, I (48F) ended a one-year relationship with my boyfriend(51M). He didn’t take the breakup well, and things escalated to the point where he began stalking me and making me feel unsafe. I eventually had to get a protection order against him, which expired last month.

Recently, he’s started reaching out again through “anonymous” texts. He even got a second anonymous number to contact me after I didn’t respond to the first one.

So, naturally, I decided to put his communication skills to the test with the exchange below.

And yes, I used ChatGPT to help polish some of the finer details of my responses. I figured if he was going to keep finding ways to contact me, I might as well make the conversation entertaining.

His first text:

Loser can’t even figure out how to do your own taxes a grown ass women surprised you can tie your own shoes

My text response:

I feel this version communicates your intended message far more clearly and articulately. You’re welcome for the grammatical refinement.

"It is genuinely astonishing that a supposedly mature adult woman is apparently incapable of navigating the relatively commonplace responsibility of preparing and filing her own taxes. Your apparent deficiency in basic life skills is so profoundly perplexing that one might reasonably question whether you possess the cognitive capacity to perform even the most rudimentary of daily tasks. Frankly, given this remarkable display of incompetence, I find myself genuinely astonished that you have managed to master something as fundamental as tying your own shoes. Your shortcomings are not merely concerning; they are an extraordinary testament to the depths of your ineptitude."

Thank you for choosing Sass & Syntax™: Professional Grammar Correction with Attitude.

You have received your complimentary text refinement. We hope you found our services both enlightening and mildly humbling.

For continued access to our premium proofreading and eloquent insult enhancement services, you may enroll in our annual subscription for the modest fee of $125.00 per year. To proceed, simply reply YES. Your imaginary credit card on file will be charged within three business days.

If you prefer to decline, please reply NO, at which point your contact information will be forwarded to our sister company, The Institute for Social Decorum & Basic Human Interaction™, where you may explore our highly recommended courses in etiquette, civility, and communicating without sounding like an uneducated garden gnome.

Thank you for your interest in personal development. We look forward to serving your grammatical and interpersonal needs.

His text response:

So you agree you’re a dumbass

My text response:

Welcome to Dumbass Daily™: Your Daily Dose of Other People's Bad Decisions!

Tired of feeling like you're the only person who occasionally makes questionable life choices? Do you sometimes wonder if you're the dumbest person in the room?

Well, worry no more! For the low, low price of $299.99 per year, Dumbass Daily™ will deliver one glorious dumbass confession directly to your phone EVERY SINGLE DAY! That's right, folks. For less than the cost of a regrettable impulse purchase, you can enjoy a full year of other people's spectacularly stupid decisions.

To get you started, we're throwing in our TOP 5 DUMBASS MOMENTS absolutely free!

Dumbass Thing #1: The Dinner Disaster

Randy reports that he once took a woman out to dinner. Unfortunately, by the end of the evening, she was wearing more of Randy's food than he had actually consumed. Apparently, Randy believed chewing and talking were a team sport. His date did not appreciate the performance.

Dumbass Thing #2: The Pet Incident

Steve reports that during a particularly difficult time in his life, he wasn't paying attention and accidentally ran over his pet with his vehicle. We have no further questions, Steve. We're just glad you felt comfortable sharing.

Dumbass Thing #3: The Cabinet Catastrophe

Dillon reports that he spent YEARS working on a cabinet for a friend. YEARS! Then, one night, he got mad, threw the entire thing down, and smashed it to bits. As a bonus prize for his outstanding decision-making, he also managed to get the biggest sliver known to mankind lodged in his hand. Congratulations, Dillon. You played yourself.

Dumbass Thing #4: The Tire-ible Drunk Driver

Henry reports that he was so drunk one night that his driving skills apparently packed their bags and abandoned him without notice. His spectacular performance behind the wheel resulted in TWO brand-new tires the very next day.

We're not sure where he was going, what he hit, or how he thought getting behind the wheel in that condition was a good idea. But we can confidently say the tires had a worse night than he did. **

Dumbass Thing #5: The Ex Who Just Won't Take a Hint

Victoria reports that she dated a guy for a year before deciding she'd had quite enough of that particular adventure and ended the relationship. Understandable. Sometimes you realize you've made a mistake, and you correct it. That's called personal growth.

Unfortunately, this gentleman apparently missed the chapter on accepting rejection.

Heartbroken by the breakup, he proceeded to reach out to Victoria through multiple forms of communication. Each attempt was rejected. And then rejected again. And then, just in case the universe had somehow scrambled the message, rejected some more.

Eventually, Victoria began feeling unsafe and sought help from the authorities. After that, she finally got a whole YEAR of peace and quiet!

A YEAR, folks! Twelve glorious months of not having to deal with someone who apparently believes that "I'm not interested" is merely an invitation to try a different communication platform.

But wait! In a spectacular plot twist worthy of a low-budget romantic comedy written by someone who desperately needs therapy, our determined contestant has returned to disturb Victoria's hard-earned peace.

That's right! After an entire year of silence, he apparently looked at 365 days of nobody asking him to make contact and thought, "You know what this situation needs? More me!"

And so, he has earned today's Dumbass of the Day award for his outstanding commitment to ignoring boundaries, misunderstanding rejection, and demonstrating that time apparently heals nothing when common sense is missing.

Will he ever move on? Will Victoria ever get another uninterrupted year of peace? Will he discover that blocking, rejection, and requests for no contact are not part of an elaborate scavenger hunt?

Only time will tell!

Until then, Victoria, we wish you peace, quiet, and a phone that stays blessedly free of unsolicited nonsense.

And to our award winner: Congratulations! You've managed to turn a breakup from a one-time event into an ongoing demonstration of why it ended in the first place.

We'd say better luck next time, but perhaps the best next time would be learning to leave someone alone when they've made it abundantly clear they want you to. \*\*\*

I’m curious if anyone has experienced a situation where their partner following a particular girl or interacting with someone on Instagram initially seemed innocent and harmless, but later turned out to be connected to cheating or something more going on behind the scenes.
Did you ever have a gut feeling about someone your partner followed, even when there wasn’t anything obviously suspicious about it? Did it eventually turn out that there was more to the situation, or was it just overthinking?
I’d really like to hear your experiences, especially if the signs seemed insignificant at first but made sense in hindsight.

Have you ever experienced the “Taxi Cab Theory” in dating—where someone wasn’t ready to commit to you, but then quickly committed to the next person they dated? What happened?
