Does this chick have good advice?
I love Ben. Just found this particular freeze frame funny when out of context.

Just picked up a kimber 2k11 stainless for LO. Was seeing mixed stuff on another post about the included 2x 20rd mags being longer than 140mm or not. Intried to measure it myself but idk where to filly measure but from end to end it looked like I was at 147mm for the 20 rounder. Would just like to confirm so I know whether to buy 1 or 3 more 140mm mags from another manufacturer. Thanks!

My 50th bd is coming up soon and my wife asked what I wanted and I told her a dedicated gun for limited optics. So I’ve been looking really hard at what I want. My issue is I have a large size hand with short fingers, Sold my Canik Rival S because the beaver tail area would wear a blister on my thumb knuckle because I had to rotate my hand around to reach the trigger even with the freedom smith installed. I shoot a Shadow 2 in carry optics and I know I can continue to use that but I want to try something new for LO. So my short list is….
MPA Loc v2
RC9 or Core
Waltz 9
My worry with MPA is I’ve read they have a super wide grip also my worry with the Waltz 9. RC9 looks promising and so does the core just wonder what the difference is between the 2 as far as recoil and mussel rise. I’ve entertained the DWX but doesn’t seem like they are very popular for USPSA.
For those of you with experience with any of these give me your thoughts especially if you’re handled multiple of these. TIA

It doesn’t specifically have to be older but I want to buy a used one with some character.
If it is 556 for cheap shooting sometimes that would be great but if that affects accuracy then no.
I’m not shooting competition level just for fun, Doesn’t have to be high tier trigger or bolt but something enjoyable/nice ish
Budget is $2100 preferably.
I’d also like it to be a wood stock.
A nice scope would be nice, is under $1000 good? I’m just going to be shooting cans for a decent amount of the time.
Thanks gentlemen shoot some dimes!

Alot of shooters use the 507comp but now that the 407comp and 507 promax are now out which ones are to choose i recently looked at a 407comp and it is a pretty big dot I use a 5 moa sro but I am building another gun and want to put either of these options on it and is the 507promax worth its price or is the 507 or 407 more justifiable?

Hey everyone, I’m new to competition shooting but getting ready for my first match this upcoming weekend, just a local club steel challenge match. I’m running a 4.5” PDP with Henning mag extensions + MBX follower and spring. I’ve shot probably 550 rounds on the new MBX follower and spring and am beginning to have jamming issues. Gonna give the PDP a cleaning tonight since it’s prob been 800-1k rounds since she’s gotten a bath and I know this could be a factor, but typically PDPs run reliable like Glocks. Anyone else have issues with MBX springs and followers? Any recommendations for better springs & followers? Or do you just run the OEM spring & follower even with the extension?

Split Shot is a free indoor biathlon style event you can do in your basement.
Biathlon is cool, but almost nobody has access to it. 10m Olympic pistol is fantastic, but not very athletic, and not everyone has 33+ ft of basement. Rowing is the ultimate in endurance tests but pretty boring.
So I came up with Split Shot. It combines sprint and endurance rowing with one-handed marksmanship, and it’s harder than it sounds.
What you need: a rowing machine, any .177 pellet pistol (CO2, pump or PCP), a pellet trap, and about 20 ft. You shoot from 5 m (16.4 ft).
How it works: you row a leg, then shoot a stage at a 23 mm black. You do that four times. Every miss is 100 m of extra rowing before the next leg. One clock runs the whole time, and total time is the score.
Short: 4 × 750 m, 5 shots per stage
Full: 4 × 1500 m, 10 shots per stage
Long: 4 × 2500 m, 15 shots per stage
You shoot standing, one-handed, with no support and open sights only. Single-shot and magazine pistols are separate divisions, and so are Concept2 and WaterRower. The scoresheet prints on one page and has a scale check built in, so everyone shoots the same target.
My first short course: 24:22.9, 6 total misses. It was really hard!
It’s free and not a business; I just think it’s fun.
If you try it, post your time and tag me. I would love to hear what you think
Be safe and follow all local laws!

Stage 1 of the Carolina Classic. 25.85 with 4 charlies, and a mike on the last target because I shot the vision barrier on the entry.
Great match and great staff. Hoping for better weather next year, because I've got a lot to work on. The swinger sequences on some of the stages were really nasty, and the match severely punished lack of visual discipline on long range targets, which I need to work on this off season.

Are there any other rimfire 2011s out there other than the CWA?
I'm growing less fond of the mk iv for steel challenge and want to move to a 1911/2011 style .22lr as I'm more comfrtable with that platform. Had an opportunity to shoot a friend's CWA and it was incredible. Struggle to spend $2500+ on a dedicated steel challenge gun though.
Are there any other manufacturer's out there worth considering?
