Where is the best place to hang out

I'm hoping to meet some people in the area and expand my social circle. I'm not familiar with the best places to go or the best times to visit. I'm a 38yo Mexican man in the military.

Strange request. I just got a research assignment to look into cryptids local to the Chattahoochee Valley area. I know of the Tie Snake. Anyone got anything else?

I did two of the Samaritan shoebox things for the church and have extra Play-Doh leftover I wanted to give it (unopened by the way) to an organization like that or similar.

Looking for local therapist recommendations, please. Specifically looking for someone that specializes in cPTSD EMDR therapy.

Also therapist recommendations that fit the following would be awesome:

- Non religious - no issue with religion as a whole but I’m looking for separation there. I.e. I’m open to hearing some recommendations on how religion can help but I don’t want to be lectured on why I need to believe what a therapist believes in order to be helped, etc.
- Friendly to alternative lifestyles. Using it as a blanket term, don’t feel like getting super specific. Just want someone that doesn’t come from a place of judgement and have found more peace in therapeutic environments that focus on being inclusive.
- Good sense of humor. Particularly someone that doesn’t get ruffled feathers over a dark sene of humor coping skill.

Even if you have a rec that doesn’t fit my needs but really helped you, I’d love to hear it. It might help someone else on here. So feel free to share your recommendations and why they worked for you. Thank you!

My goal for these posts are simple. Give you a brief recap of the previous week's games, a summary of where the team sits in the standings, and let you know when the next games are.

Columbus River Dragons

The Columbus River Dragons are a professional minor league hockey team based in Columbus, GA. Founded in 2019, the River Dragons quickly became one of the premier franchises in the Federal Prospects Hockey League, capturing the 2021 Ignite Cup Championship and multiple regular season titles. The team competes in the FPHL - Continental division and plays its home games at the Columbus Civic Center.

Not exactly the start of the season that you want to see as the River Dragons went up to Wytheville, Virginia to take on the Blue Ridge Bobcats for the first series of the season and came home with two losses. The good news is that scoring wasn't exactly missing as the River Dragons scored 5 goals between both games but the defense just wasn't there, allowing 8 goals over the same period.

That said, it's still very early in the season and the team should only gel together more as they go along.

Looking Ahead

The home opener is this coming weekend as they take on the defending chamption, Binghamtom Black Bears. Hopefully we can get a one in the win column and start the defending the home schedule on the right foot.

Are there any places in Harris county/Columbus that help with registering your car? I've been trying to register mine since February. The ad vorlem tax is holding me back .I can't even donate plasma due to health issues or get a job due to lack of transportation and lack of people wanting to hire me. I'm on my last leg right now. I was denied EBT and Medicaid bc I can't find a job within walking distance that wants to hire me

Every time I do this, I learn something new. Today I learned that I need to invest in a fire blanket for windy days. This will be useful knowledge for the pork shoulder I have planned for thanksgiving.😁

Hi, so I just got new business cards and I’m looking for places around town that have an area for people to leave them. I know of a few places, but I’m interested to see if anyone has noticed these and can give me some more recommendations. It would be much appreciated!
