I love Chiikawa and I feel like I have no one to talk about it with. So if you also like/into Chiikawa let’s be friends!!

Not sure if this is allowed, but I have a DELL VOSTRO laptop that i dont use anymore. I am alumni if that helps my case. Looking to sell it to someone who needs it more than me. Functions better a primarily as a work and school laptop. If this is not allowed pls take it down. If interested DM me :)

I've been meaning to get a personal trainer, so I looked online, and I don't mind paying the rates, but I'm a bit confused about how to actually sign up. I filled out the form that the website had, but it's been a week. So I don't know what to expect. I know the website also mentioned calling or going in person, but I'm really embarrassed... Is that the only way?

Hi all, has anyone ever taken France Tapper for Rec 340 (Recreation) before?

I came here for a couple hours to catch up on some homework and got hit with a $60 ticket because I'm not paying for the ridiculous permit.

Idk if the 90 minute max parking is for everyone or just people with a permit but can they cut us some slack because tuition is already ridiculous.

Im not joking when i say that ive seen too many dudes go into the bathroom to piss and then walk out in the past month. Idk if it's just the engineering building but it's starting to piss me off (no pun intended).

Thank you!

I was having one of the worst panic attacks of my life. I had just been denied my FAFSA loan that I was depending on financially for the rest of the semester. I had just had my entire group project, over 30 hours of work, that was due later in the day deleted from the school server somehow. And about 40 other things had gone wrong that would take too long to list.

I was pacing outside the gym trying to decide what to do. Force myself to go to the gym, send an emergency text to my therapist, or go home and do something way worse.

You saw me, and asked what I was looking at. You talked to me for a minute and asked what I was thinking about I said "just school stuff" but you knew that I was not telling the entire truth. You told me to pay attention to the breeze.

You gave me the moment's calm I needed to text my therapist, and we had an emergency session.

I want to thank you whoever you are. You really helped.

I have to take CHEM100 and none of the professors are currently announced yet. I was wondering what the class was like and if there were any professor recommendations

Hello everyone! I am dong a project for one of my classes and I would really appreciate it if you could fill out this survey about the Long Beach busses! Thank you. Please if you take the bus or have taken the bus please consider filling this out :,)

I just checked my enrollment date for spring 2027 and I got January 1st? I'm a first year so this entire thing is still new to me. Does anyone have this too?

Why is my date so far away or is this normal? Will most of the good CJ classes be gone?

Hello! I am currently applying for the MSW Three / Year Part Time Program and was just curious overall experiences / opinions of folks in the program!

I'm currently trying to figure out which of the specializations I want to apply for - I do not come from a social work background, I'm currently switching careers from working in Film & TV (but have volunteer experience.) I work in kids media and think I would love to work with kids in social work so was thinking of the Child & Family Wellbeing one, but since I am so new to the field, want to keep my options open and could see myself working in with mental health patients / clinical settings. Do folks feel like you get a well rounded education / ability to apply to a variety of places regardless of specialization?

Furthermore, I am currently based in the valley and would be commuting from Burbank for evening classes. Obviously this is going to suck traffic wise, but was wondering if others have a similar commute and if they felt like overall going to an in-person school with a long commute was still worth it (rather than an out of state / online university.)

Also would love just general advice in applying or what to maybe highlight in a personal statement. Thank you for any and all info!!

I need to take either BIOL200, BIOL205, or a biological science. If I take a biological science, I'll take biology at a CC. I was wondering if there were any professor recommendations or anything anyone had to say about either class.

Hey everyone!

I've seen some of you guys playing badminton, and I was wondering if a random guy like me could join sometime haha.

I enjoy playing badminton and would love to meet new people and play together. I'm just looking for some friendly games and good vibes!

Let me know if anyone is cool with me joining! Thanks!

If you’re looking for an easy GE, try Ethnic Studies (AIS 119)
I don’t know how the other professors teach, but Professor Gharibian is very chill. Gives readings but doesn’t say anything if students don’t read. Doesn’t scold if people are playing games or texting in front of him (Attendance is Mandatory). Essays and Tests are all online and during the weekend. I’m not sure about Finals yet.

What dates did everyone get?

Does anyone know how the process works to apply as an ongoing CSULB student for the Honors Program in the College of Business?

I was walking a day or two earlier and JUST noticed it didn’t say the Walter pyramid anymore. When did they change it?

I know last week the shopping cart was available

Hello all! I graduated with my BA in Psychology not too long ago and recently applied to the Multiple Subject Credential program in August for Spring 2027. It’s October and I still haven’t heard back on a decision..

I tried calling the College of Education who then referred me over to Enrollment Services, but they also don’t know when. Their reason was that the teaching credential program is on its own time basically. Does anyone have any insight to when applicants would know when the university made its decision?

Thanks in advance!
