Excuse the dust lol. This is my asus tuf a16 with the new hinges and I got it like a week ago. The first picture is the left hinge and the second one is the right. However the right one seems to have no connector on the left side? Is this normal or am I tripping and how does it even go missing I havent really mishandled it.

I have an Asus tuf a15 FA507NV ryzen 5 7535hs rtx 4060 1tb wd sn770 and micron 512gb ssd Sometimes at random when I turn the computer on from being completely off for around 10 minutes it shows an error code, then goes to repair and then to windows working normal. It doesn't happen every time.
Things I've tried:
-fresh windows
-installing window without wd drive in
-removing decryption
-installing wd drive to slot 1
-installing all AMD chipset drivers before connecting to the wifi on fresh install as well as Asus controller v3
-installing g helper
I don't know how to fix it so it doesn't show anymore I don't really care about sleep mode that much but I want to boot my computer without it having issues. The messages also always change to another message every time, regardless, this is my final error code : Stop code: SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTIONNOT_HANDLED (0x7E). What failed: fvevol.sys

Whenever I right-click on the desktop, Windows starts keeps loading, then becomes unresponsive and the screen briefly goes black. The same issue occurs when I attempt to open File Explorer, but it won't open. I have already tried troubleshooting from YouTube tutorials, such as Registry settings, System Configuration, and restarting the system etc. but none of these resolved the problem. Please help

Hi all,
I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (FX507ZV4) with an RTX 4060 Laptop GPU and Intel Iris Xe. The RTX 4060 isn't working at all, and the HDMI port doesn't work either.
**Symptoms**
- Device Manager: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU has a yellow triangle, Error Code 43 ("Windows has stopped this device")
- HDMI port gives no output (it's wired through the NVIDIA GPU)
- Armoury Crate: the GPU section is greyed out, and memory frequency, temperature and voltage all show "extreme power saving"
- Games run on the Intel graphics only, so they're choppy and blurry (Resident Evil 4 was unplayable)
**What I've tried (no change after any of it)**
Disabled and re-enabled the display adapter
Uninstalled the NVIDIA app and driver, then reinstalled
DDU in Safe Mode (Clean and restart, NVIDIA), then installed the ASUS driver through MyASUS System Update
DDU again, then a clean install of an older NVIDIA Game Ready driver (July release), with the NVIDIA app and PhysX unticked
Hard reset (held power button for 40 seconds)
CMOS reset (battery disconnected for 12 hours)
Updated BIOS from 329 to 330 (this was the last software step)
MyASUS System Diagnosis: "0 problems", but it only suggests updates and doesn't test the GPU
PLEASE HELPPP

Hi everyone. I need help with my ASUS TUF Gaming A15.
Specs:
The problems started with random restarts. The laptop was also running very hot, around 93°C. I took it to a repair technician and he suspected a CPU/BGA issue. He performed a CPU reballing and serviced the cooling system.
After the repair, the laptop worked normally for a while, but then the same problems came back.
Current symptoms:
The technician now thinks the CPU itself may need to be replaced, but before spending more money I want another opinion.
My questions:
I would especially appreciate advice from people who repair laptops at board/BGA level or anyone who has experienced similar problems with an ASUS TUF A15.

Like there are a lot of comments on social media stating the motherboard issue, hinge problems and how they need to run to service centre every few months🙂... I bought this thinking I'll at least be sorted till my graduation (4yrs).But seeing this makes me wonder if I should have bought the expertbook cause I won't be doing that much gaming ig... but everyone told me I should get a dedicated gpu and now all these negative comments :)
The reason might be people who get issues comment more than the people whose laptops are in great condition but idk man...

I just got new build
ASUs tuf x870 plus WiFi
R7 9850 x3d
5080
1000w platinum
And the mother board type-c when I’m plugging a type-c cable to the mother board it makes the whole pc close immediately and I tried another type-c but this time when I plugged it in, nothing happened but when I try to plugged out the pc closes immediately, what’s wrong with it? Should I return both back for warranty? Any Asus support answer me so i would go to seller and show him a prove pls.

I feel like I am going crazy trying to troubleshoot this. I launch a game, look at phone while waiting, black screen, no interaction with mouse and keyboard. Press power button, nothing. Press again, powers up LOL. I leave it on and go away from the laptop 15 minutes, not even sleeping. It does this on the regular. I do some shit, wait for it to compile and look away, it fucking shuts down. Like as if it's monitoring me all the time. Does anyone know how do I turn this off? It really feels like it's a feature from myasus or something but I already uninstalled that and armoury crate.
Hi guys i bought a new FX608-JHI two weeks ago and charged 5 times maybe and my adapter is like this? Is it normal? i might ask for a change maybe am i overreacting?

My ASUS tuff gaming A15 computer screen is black I know it’s the refresh rate because whenever this happened before I’d plug it to a Tv go over to settings hover over the refresh rate unplug it and change it it goes to normal but now it won’t plug into my tv and show up and I’m devistated

My laptop is the ASUS A16 FA607NUG (4050 and ryzen 7 7445HS)
This is a relatively new laptop bought around march 2026
This actually started happening a few months in (I say around june?) but it kinda fixed itself when I switched GPU mode from ultimate back to just standard so I just left it at that
However now even standard mode is forgetting the pin making me use the authentication Microsoft app to log in
I do get prompted to "reset pin" after using the Microsoft auth app but resetting it doesn't do anything to resolve it as next time I shut down it forgets again
It does not forget during a restart. Specifically Shutdown and switching gpu modes only

UK. Is it possible to buy a new charger cable that goes from the battery to the Laptop? Battery is fine but what is the cable from the battery to the laptop called to order just that? Where it plugs into the laptop is only able to charge intermittently and you have to monitor it. FA507NV_FA507NV

CPU constantly hitting 80°C even while watching youtube.
"Need help with a proper G-helper CPU setting also."
I turn on the GPU because without it the laptop becomes buggy even for casual browsing.
