Should we be firing clients who send their documents late every single month?

I keep hearing two camps on this.

Camp 1: Late documents are part of the job. Clients are busy, build the chasing into your fee and move on.

Camp 2: A client who's late every month is costing you more than they pay. Charge for it or let them go.

Where do you land? And if you've actually fired a client over this, did you regret it?

How do you guys actually get documents from your clients?

How are you guys collecting documents from clients these days? Email, shared folders, client portals, or are clients just sending stuff all over the place?
