My OnePlus Pad 4 now runs Arch Linux with Denial and Droidloom, turning an Android tablet into a fully functional Linux desktop!

After the sadness of hard-bricking the first OnePlas Pad 4 I found the courage to try again, and the result is amazing!

I spent the last 3 months working on Droidloom and Denial, I have been working on them each and every day, trying many different devices and computers. All this effort is paying out, no compositor can give me this amazing experience!

And I have no intention to stop.

It also supports controller and external mouse and keyboard, just like a normal desktop it has no limitation.

hi i'm looking into getting my first tablet and wanted to get some suggestions on what to buy

My needs are:
-expandable memory
-ability to emulate ps2 games
-drawing capabilities with decent response
-around 11 inch screen
-HDMI output thru USB

Bonus:
-can run old PC games without too much finessing via steam or gog
-headphone jack

I'm not trying to spend too much money. i'd say ~$400 is my budget? I would spend a bit more on the perfect device

Thank you!

Its been a month with my (onn 8.1 2026) tablet and I love it. I never owned a tablet in my life. i got a job going back and forth, so im always 2weeks away from home. living in a trailer with 4 dudes so i needed a entertainment rig. I love how small it is but still big enough for my manga and retro emulation needs. Highly highly recommend💯

I updated my oppo pad mini to the color OS 17 (closed beta) a while back when I found that they are rolling beta updates and I'm a sucker for early access. Today, while I was watching anime, I thought of checking smthn out in the settings --- and just like that, it just blacked out on me. Tried force restarting it, Charging it for 15+ minutes, nothing happens.

Based on what I heard, since this is a chinese device, oppo service centers will not service it if it gets to a point that I have to get more assistance. Any thoughts or insights? (I'm also from the Philippines)

Is the pen really included with these offer?

I want to essentially stop lugging around my Legion laptop and get a tablet to play a little COD while away from home. I'm looking for a reliable tablet with decent specs that would allow this via moonlight/Sunshine if possible. Any recommendations?? Will lag be too much of an issue for playing COD multiplayer via Moonlight/Sunshine?

I need a tablet mainly for studying, watching lectures , youtube , pdf, reading, sometimes watching movies or series too. (I don't play any games so not for gaming purpose).

Budget is 25k INR( 1-2k more is fine too)

Need suggestions for a tablet model

I want to know if the samsung s10 fe plus price will drop in diwali sale or next Dusshera sale ....

I know noone will be knowing exact answer but please say whatever u think about it

And ways to find the answer

Im planning to buy xiaomi pad 8 12gb variant ,I'm having doubts in whether i should buy this now or wait for the later diwali sale

I was also eyeing for Samsungs fe series but the professors are not that good except for note taking ,i think I can adjust and i believe note taking is not that bad in xiaomi pad 8

Does buying nano make any difference ? Should I just go with standard ,as the price gap is not much I might be buying a nano one

With sbi card offer of 5500 Rs ,do you guys think this is a good deal as the prices might keep going up ,should I wait for diwali sale or buy now

Will i get this 5k offer after Amazon sale is done

Thank you

So recently ive been thinking about getting a android tablet( or samsung but meh) and someone suggested the OPPO Pad 5 my budget is under £400 so just wondering if i should get it and if not what should i get instead?

Grazie in anticipo

I have ipad m4 256 gb I loved it till now, but to this day I havnt been able to use it with full heart heavy long use due to the fear of battery degrading

With Samsung I don't think I will have that fear I wanna replace my ipad with am android or anything else what would yall suggest ?

is the pen good or bad

please don't recommend galaxy tab s10 lite or iPad 11th gen because they just don't work for me

I have an old Chinese (Vankyo) tablet which has been limping through as my doom-scrolling device of choice.

This week the 'sweep-up to enter passcode' has stopped working.

Pressing the volume down + power button forces a restart but I only end up back at the front screen, with no safe boot options.

I've tried the Google Find Hub on my phone to force a factory reset, but that's not worked (and the Hub is no longer seeing the device).

Before I bin it, any suggestions that might resurrect the tablet?

Engineering student here and I'm planning to buy a tablet

Mas okay ba ang bigger screen? I plan to use it for notes and some light media consumption. Ofc will also be bringing it with me to campus din

Currently looking at the Galaxy Tab S series, from Lite to FE+. Yung Lite and FE kasi same size (10.9 inches) and yung FE+ is around 13? I saw the Lite and FE na in person pero the Samsung store near me didn't have the FE+ kaya di ko matantsa size and weight

Ano kaya mas okay between those models? Are there better alternatives ba? Redmi Pad 2 Pro was one of my options pero I heard a lot about its screen and pen issues

Thank you!

Salve. Date che oneplus ha bloccato le vendite in Europa, non riesco ad acquistare la stylo associata al mio tablet.

Qualcuno sa consigliarmi delle alternative valide?
