This for me. I am English and she is Australian, and I always kinda knew deep down I couldn't spend my life with her. Either way I went through the motions and we were supposed to move to Australia for good on a partner visa. Well now she realises she doesn't want to be together, moves immediately on, and now I have to find a way more limited route to stay in the same country as my kids. If I had followed my feelings in the first place, my kids would be back in England with me. This is happening right now and is heartbreaking
