Don't hesitate after high school. Figure out what you want to do and go for it! It will seem like you have all the time in the world but you don't. You will blink and be in your 30s.
As Rush put it so eloquently, if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
Don't let analysis paralysis stop you from moving forward. You can always change plans later if things aren't working, but if you don't commit to anything, you'll never get there at all.
