There were a few spots that I wasn't happy with but just went with it and I honestly love how it turned out! Adding details and making them pop with the acrylic pens is so satisfying as well. This is from the Comfy Corner book by Coco Wyo

Some Halloween and fall pages.

Hello! Beginner “colourer” here.

These are my first pages - any general tips? I wouldn’t even know where to begin with all the beautiful shadowing, blending and highlighting I see others do on this page!

Also, I’ve just opened my book after not using it for a couple of weeks and noticed ink has seeped through to the next page, not while I’ve been colouring (as I’ve been using a card in between), but while I’ve had the book put away. Has anyone else experienced this? Perhaps it’s the markers I’m using? I’m in Australia and I bought markers from Typo. Perhaps I should invest in some Ohuhu?

Thank you!!

Hi,
I am in a 10 week training for my job… sitting all day in a classroom, it’s brutal and I need to keep my hands busy. I bought a coloring book and I love it! It’s so satisfying.
These are the first mandalas I have fully completed. They are not perfect…(esp the pencil ones) but for my first time, I’m happy with the end results.

First 2 done with alcohol markers.
Second 2 done with are Prismacolor pencils.

Thanks for looking🥺

Paint by numbers. Venice scene 400 x 500. 48 colours.

Art the Clown was an immediate yes for this page. He looks right at home there with his bowl of uncoloured/finished brains 😂

Book: Spooky Fuzzy by Vivi Tinta

Medium: Honolulu B Ohuhus, graphite pencil, white gelly roll and signo, white acrylic to cover over what I plan to redraw as something else…and it’s not on the page yet but I have an exciting medium to add when the page is done…fake blood! I know I can draw it in, but the spray splatter from a realistic theatre fake blood will look so much better!

Soundtrack: Hamilton…again.

Tried a comic pop style for Frankenstein’s monster. My brother said it looked like he was at a rave. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was fun trying something different. Let me know how you think it worked or didn’t. Line art was from the spooky Halloween coloring book for adults and brave teens. Used Ohuhu kaala series markers plus one Ohuhu Honolulu spectrum green for the light on his left. Happy coloring!

I really thought about colour theory at every step of this thing, and it made such a difference!! The whole thing just looks so vibrant. I love the moon, the tree the palette, the shed . . . I have to stop or I’ll just list the whole page! Not to mention that I’ve been living for this book lol.

Posted both a long exposure pic and a pic with flash.

Thanks everyone for looking at my art!! 🥰

Any constructive feedback is welcome for improvement 😊

I always wanted to try this effect, I like how it turned out, but I’m not really wanting to color in the background wall; mostly to not waste the gray ink, as alot of mine are already starting to dry out. I thought about maybe just doing it in colored pencil, but what do you think; is it fine how it is, or should I complete the background wall??

Any tips or recommendations? I’m not a fan of what I did for the background.

Hello,

I’m fairly new to markers, just started using alcohol markers actually. I bought a set off Amazon and I find it lacking pastel colors/overall variety.. idk if I’m ready to pull the trigger on the Ohuhu markers yet since I’m new so maybe a cost effective still gets the job done with as many pastels as a person could dream of? I’d like to stick to alcohol markers! Thank you!

My hallobean pictures so far, some of them are a bit messy and isn’t it annoying when like one pen drips on your picture and makes random ugly marks? 🎃 💀 🎃
